A varied menu of well presented food. The pub is old fashioned but adds to the ambience. We had to wait 25 minutes but well worth the wait. Everything fresh & hot. Cheerful service & made to feel welcome. Thank you.

No puedo esperar a volver.

I have been to the Wellington on a number of occasions for food. I have tried most things on the menu. The steak is always cooked perfectly, the steak pie and gravy is fantastic (lots of meat), the salads are ideal if you're just a little peckish. The 2 grills the Wellington provides are huge!! Well presented too! The beer battered onion rings are devine!!My only improvement on the the menu is I'd recommend fresh chips rather than the chunky oven chips that are sometimes a little dry once cooked. Or even fries as a option?? The larger can sometimes have an odd taste, might be to do with the lines or something? Would definitely recommend the food and the staff are always welcoming, friendly and quick to take your order. All in all a great local pub / restaurant.

First visit here but definitely would not return. The breakfast was over cooked, luke warm and poor quality sausages with the over easy egg cremated and uneditable. No thank you or goodbye as we were leaving. I did give my feedback to staff who said he’d pass it on to the kitchen.

Had a tasty mocha in pleasant surroundings, people watching from the raised area. Not a fantastically large selection, but all quality beverages and snacks. My mocha was nicely presented and tasted great. What more could you ask for.

We stayed at Casa Hotel and reserved a table in the Cocina Restaurant. Without question, some of the best food we have had for quite some time. Attentive staff provided us with a background to the mouth watering menu, and when the food arrived , it was amazing! Well presented , well cooked and satisfying. Well worth a visit....Great atmosphere ...Great food !

Come on, Chesterfield. What’s wrong with you? Excellent beer, with the brewery round the back; pints under £3; great live music; and there’s only a dozen or so in on a Sunday evening.
