Great, really nice food best chinese in Stamford. Only problem is Card Machine takes ages to approve transactions, was waiting atleast 2 miutes for it to approve while a queue was buiding up. Staff seem to be aware of the problem

This is my favourite Chinese take away ever. Not only is the food amazing but the service always has a friendly smile. Always welcoming. Oh and the food: We’ve had Chicken Curry - proper good curry Various soups Beef chow mein - nice shreds of beef Sweet and sour dishes All very tasty with flavour.

Always really nice food, always hot and seems to me good quality fresh ingredients. Very short waiting times for food, even at their busiest of times beat most other takeaways. Lovely service, the chefs in the back (where I note you can see the whole kitchen which is always spotless, tidy and organised) are always smiling and very welcoming. Shame they don't deliver for those lazy nights but it is worth the journey.

First time ordering, from Welcome Wok Inn, sterling way Stamford, by a friend. And how delighted my wife and I, were at the quality of the Chinese food and the excellent service all round. We will be back ordering more. Thank you

More often than not a good sign when a takeaway 🥡 is very busy with walk in orders & customers collecting telephone orders (I’m pretty certain that they don’t do delivery). So close to 5🌟s for the food but the chilli 🌶️ chips were very poor for £4.50 per portion. Not really spicy & they’d lost their crispiness from being in a foil tray - even though the cardboard top had been innovatively vented by cutting the corners off! Chicken wings with chilli & salt were very good as were the fresh tasting complementary bag of prawn crackers. Our main courses were more than good - to the extent we each stuck to our own & didn’t share: king prawns 🍤 with ginger 🫚 & spring onions for my wife & a spicy Szechuan chicken for me - both accompanied by industrial quantities of egg fried rice (1 x large & 1 x regular)! Nothing left for the following days lunch which is confirmation of the quality of the food. The cost was about £32.00 which was not as expensive as it sounds given the free ‘weight training’ of carrying it back to our motorhome. We’d definitely order from here again if we find ourselves in the area of the very picturesque town of Stamford.

Delicious Fresh Chinese food. Excellent friendly service and 5 STAR food Hygiene rating, the shop is absolutely immaculately clean. The only negative is I live in the North East and only managed to order twice, but I will be back in September and will definitely be ordering again.

We have had a couple of takeaways from here and they’ve been really good - nice flavours and not too greasy. The place looks very clean.

AWARE!!! The items on the menu which are supposed to be gluten free (they do not state wheat) actually contain gluten. The manager said that the pastes and sauces that they purchase include wheat. For example oyster sauce. The beef in mushroom sauce contains wheat. How can you state gluten free when it actually isn’t?? If people are allergic steer clear!!

Used multiple times now and always amazing. Best Chinese we've found in ages. Staff are really friendly, food always ready when coming to collect and the shop/kitchen is so clean definitely makes a change! I rang up at 5.30pm and made an order for pick up at 7. We arrived at 7 and had to wait until 7.30 for the food. They told me that other people made orders in between so there was a hold up. Completely ruined our evening- and just not good enough! I can see from the reviews on here other people have experienced the same.

We are regular customers as & when we can treat ourselves. The food is absolutely fantastic. One thing we have learned. NEVER!! Call with a fairly large order! At busier time's, you will go to the back of the queue & walk in's & smaller orders will take priority. FACT! My daughter witnessed this this evening. After arriving an hour after the order as instructed they hadn't started cooking it until she made a comment. Then waited another 25 minutes, just to arrive home with the spare ribs missing from the order (paid for) Their response was, yes you can come and collect them. Simply not on. If I was running that business they would be delivered via Taxi or otherwise. It's a good job the food is so good if not they would be struggling for business. Unfortunately I think that is their attitude & I'm 100% sure I'm not the only person with this opinion?

First time we'd been here, had to wait a little while for food but after all, it was Saturday night. Well worth the wait, meal for two was absolutely delicious, thank you. Staff were friendly and polite too 🙂 Will definitely be back.

As always, tasty, hot, on time and service with a smile. The best

First time I'd been here and was very impressed. Placed looked smart and clear signs with no. of customers in at a time, staff were lovely, had to query if one dish had milk in it and they were great about it. Food was delicious, not as sweaty as some places so a definate thumbs up, will be going again!

I phoned a order through at 6.30 pm last evening and was told it would be ready for collection at 7.40. It was actually handed to me at 8.20! Not good enough. And the food was no better than any other chinese take away in our opinion.
