Food from welcome village is very nice, always enjoy the experience and would suggest chop suey and veggie spring rolls from here! They also do my favourite Holland's pie... The peppered steak.

The staff are friendly, the shop itself very clean and presentable. The Chinese food is better than the English food, I like the chips the best out of the English cuisine because they taste the way I’d expect chip shop chips to taste like. The portion size is just right for me so there is no waste. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that the management should consider getting a card payment facility in. I only carry very small amounts of physical money around with me now - the only time I visit this chippy is to buy large bottles of coke - such a shame because if they had a card payment facility in place I’d go in more to buy more food. Carrying physical money (coins and notes is a hassle) I avoid at every opportunity.

Absolutely love the Welcome Village! Lovely staff, excellent food, big portions, excellent price. Been coming here for years. It. Is certainly the best Chinese Takeaway we’ve tried in Rossendale.And fortunately I only live2 minutes away:-)

Not great, chow mein had far to many bean sprouts in, was mostly bean sprouts , spring rolls fried to long so rock hard chips not too bad, it’s not great won’t bother again

Probably the worst Chinese meal I have ever had, completely tasteless but lefty me really thirsty. The comedy spring roll was the size of my wrist, filled with cabbage and noodles. If I hadn't just cycled for 7 hours and was really hungry I would have thrown it all in the bin.

Usually our food is good from here but not tonight crispy beef was overcooked and greasy my crispy chicken in ok sauce wasnt that just chicken in ok sauce some of the chicken wasnt cooked even the kids didn't like the chips so all the food in the bin

The dishes we order are always spot on ........Ho-fan, salt & pepper chicken and beef curry👌👌

Good quality and fresh chinese food

Acceptable, but that's about it. If it's your only option, it's not "bad", but our experience -on a Friday night, which is usually the best night- had oily mains, stale and burnt prawn crackers, funny tasting meat. Unfortunately, this was also more expensive than our usual (Hong Kong, Waterfoot), without delivery our nice free prawn crackers, and just generally significantly lesser quality. Slight saving graces... Friendly staff, quick service, and good portion sizes. We won't be returning though.

had pie chips and gravy, the gravy tasted funny, then spent next day on toilet never again....

2 portions of chips were an odd mix of potatoes obviously re-fried probably from the previous evening and absolutely dripping in grease, total waste of money they went straight in the bin. 0 rating really
