Awful! The chips were completely tasteless. I couldn't eat them. To top it off, I realised the delivery was £4.50! Won't be bothering with this place again.

The best Chinese in the valley by far!! the spare ribs are like no others I’ve ever tried. Great quality food at a decent price the delivery driver Adam is always polite and very trustworthy as I was giving him a £20 and a £10 note thinking it was 2x £10 notes but he told me straight away it was to much and gave me £10 back. Most other drivers would of pocketed that for them selves THANKS AGAIN ADAM and keep up the good food happy garden

We order from Happy Garden often and we have never regretted our decision to do so. The food is hot, freshly prepared and tasty. The portions are so generous we always have food left over for lunch the next day. We would definitely recommend Happy Garden to friends and family, and, in fact, we have done so often. They also have wonderful fish and chips! 28/09/23 We have ordered from Happy Garden many times since my above review, and we have never been disappointed...until tonight. Although the portions are very very generous and so are the extras, the taste of the meals tonight did not live up to the usual standard. The peas in the omelet and fried rice were hard and tasteless and although esthetically appealing, the fried rice and sweet and sour pork were not fresh-tasting and had a heated-up leftovers taste to it. We will probably give them another try, another time, because they have been so consistently good in the past. I truly hope tonight was a one-off. Tonight is the first time we have not had leftovers to heat up for tomorrow's lunch.

We came for a weekend away and stumbled across your take away, and omg was it worth it, the food was amazing best chinese I have ever had, we will definitely be back and already recommended you to friends

Usually has pretty nice food, there is the odd times where they forget parts of the order but always get it resolved in good time. Really wish it was open on a Monday as I have tried ordering so many times on a Monday to find its closed and nowhere else does delivery with a card payment 🙃.

Initially posted a poor review based on the service i received at the time. I have since tried them again and what a dramatic difference i have had since. Lovely food, well priced and far better customer service than my first experience. Glad i gave happy garden a second chance as i use them all the time now for chinese takeaway =)

We got 2 special chow mein with thick moist noodles ,it was beautiful and plenty of it, very tasty ,this was my first time to order from here and had it delivered, this is going to be my Chinese takeaway from now on ,very happy customer 😀 👍

The box deal thing was massive enough to feed 4 kids easy .but I didn't like the presentation It was literally chucked in a pizza box,lots of it! the chips for me should have been served separately worth the money

Love it .love it, love it , after my old Chinese takeaway closed, I tried about 8 different ones in about a 6 mile radius of where I live, none of them measured up, then by chance I tried 1 on my door step, happy garden, I will never go anywhere else.

Absolutely love this Chinese it is the only place we order from, reasonably priced and the portions are amazing. They can even customize certain dishes, say you wish to have sweet and sour chicken balls without the sweet and sour sauce they will happily send you a different sauce if asked. Delivery always on time with friendly service. Plus they give free prawn crackers even if you dont order a great lot of food. 10/10

I ordered food last night 27.03.21 was lied to several times on the phone saying it would be 15 more mins food took a little over 2hrs and 15mins to come ended up having to cook the children something else because they couldn't wait any longer. When the food did come it was very dry.

Never ordering from here again rang at 6.45 and was still waiting at 20.15 i orderd a family share box whe rang got told was busy and on way its 20.20 and still no food I live 10 mins away so happy garden u get a 1 star

Fish and chips a good portion size. Salt and pepper chicken strips disappointing as not many strips more like onion, peppers and spices.

I have to say that having made a mistake on one of the meals I had delivered I rang happy garden and they replaced the meal in lightning time!! WELL DONE a great service thanks ken

Lovely battered fish and chips, not too greasy. Jumbo sausage was okay, I'd pay more for better quality sausage meat though. Plenty of curry sauce and mushy peas.

Ordered chinese by phone to collect. Confirmed name on colkection and food ordered. Given competely wrong order. They must have known there were no chips in the order. Compketely ruined our evening. Dont order from here.

Didn't really enjoy the chicken in batter balls, chicken was extremely tough and dry. The egg fried rice was really sticky and couldn't really see or taste any egg in it. Wouldn't really come again.

NEVER AGAIN , salt and chilli chicken strips were horrible chicken tough and too much salt which chocolate flavour away from the Chilli , the ribs we're just horrible the meat did not taste nice at all and the pork dumplings had black bits all over them, didn't even taste like pork and where oily I thought dumplings were steamed a waste of 12 pounds which just ended up in the bin

Used to be a really nice Chinese, gone down hill in the last few months.

Regular customer here but tonight made an order at 7.30 called at 9pm to see where the order was as had children waiting up for there food to be told they'd missed the order out offered to make my order but would take 40 mins refused the offer has put me off now won't be returning again.

Fast and friendly staff, quality and quantity of food is very good, prices are competetive.

This has been my favourite fish and chips take away for a long time the staff are always happy and friendly and always welcome me no matter how busy they are the waiting time varies but I have never had to wait more then 10 mins in store for my food they also deliver which is very handy at times when they are quiet they have delivered within ten mins of ordering and when busy it can take up to 45 mins which isn't to bad at all I would recommend to every one they are also a Chinese takeaway I don't eat much Chinese but the dishes I have tried were really nice and well priced

Used to be a top chippy. Not so much anymore! Chips? Average. Pie? Soggy. Gravy? Funky tasting, not in a good way. Peas? Like chewing on buckshot. Fried rice, over cooked, anaemic slop! But we did get free prawn crackers!

Food ok but had to 30 mins longer than I was told to collect the food.

Purchased some salt and pepper chicken fillets from here this evening, I use the word fillets loosely as they were more bites smothered in onions and peppers. After biting into the first so called fillet I heard a clucking noise and realised a good vet could probably bring these chickens back to life they were that undercooked. Anyway won’t be going again the sliced onions looked fresh tho

Honestly, had great service and the food was excellent; exactly what I was looking for with my girlfriend. The staff were nice and attended me incredibly fast, I appreciated that very much. It was a short drive from my place and I got more than I was hoping for with the affordable price.

Happy? The staff always seem snappy and angry. The food and pricing was good a while ago......now the food has gone up in price and the portion size and quality has gone downhill.

Eaten both English & Chinese dishes from here and enjoyed them all. If you've a large order best to call the order ahead and collect at t he time they let you know. Delivery is available but I've never used it personally.
