Welcome Break Hopwood Park M42 in Bromsgrove

Starbucks: Totally bloody awful. Food cold, coffee gross. In future would go somewhere else - Even KFC and that is as bad.

Great services hardly used before. Its never been a consideration until diverted past it. very clean facilities, plenty options friendly staff. Plenty room/space. would probably recommend a diversion to visit instead of the well trodden Northern M5 services.

Stopped here twice, on journeys to and from York. Hopwood Park, situated between Shirley and Solihull junctions was busy each time, Car Park well laid out and plenty of Blue Badge bays. Also a Starbucks drive-through, Garage and large area for Charging bays. There is a grassy area with benches, under the shade of trees, directly along the front, alongside a ‘Pet Water Staion’, and an area for dogs further along. Waitrose, WH Smith, Starbucks, Burger King, Subway, Chopstix, KFC are all available along with a large array of seating. Toilets are upstairs via escalator, on the ground floor are different Radar Key, Baby changing room facilities. Everywhere inside was very clean, bright and well presented on both trips. We had food from Chopstix which was tasty and hot, the young man serving couldn’t have been more helpful explaining deals and meals. Subway was our Go-to on the way back and, again, the staff were so helpful. We visited at quite busy times but there was speedy service at both places. Would recommend Hopwood Park as a good place for a stop-off.

Went here to stop on the way to Malvern,it is a really great service station.One of the best service stations we’ve ever experienced.Wh smiths is there which also has a Krispy Kreme and fireal inside it.Also has a little Waitrose which is handy if you need a few snacks on you’re journey.Also they have a Burger King too which serves milkshakes,fries and burgers.Also they have a kfc and chopsix too.Also they have a Starbucks kiosk+drive thru.The service station was jam packed and probably the buisiest services I’ve ever seen.Also services and toilets were exceptionally clean and convenient.Also loads of chargers too and a kids play area.It was all good

Subway food service was absolutely diabolical was quing for 15 minutes the two staff were moving that slow even sloths move faster I gave up in the end there was the same size quee at chopsticks noodle bar that I went to and was served in less than 5 minutes

Disgusting. Filthy. Only outdoor toilets available. Food outlets inexplicably shut at busy times and others serving reduced menus. Disgraceful service from Welcome Break - worth taking the time to go somewhere else!

Whilst the services are undergoing refurbishment - the admittedly temporary toilet facilities are not much better than a third world cess pit. Absolutely disgusting - broken toilet seats, wee everywhere, they don't look (or smell) like they've seen a cleaner in weeks. One would think that at least for as long as the facilities are in place, the management here would ensure extra resources would be put in place to maintain some sort of cleanliness. Clearly they don't get a flying fig what their customers have to endure. Presumably they have staff toilets that they use, leaving the public conveniences out of sight and out of mind. Management - pull your collective socks up please!!!!

It was freezing cold inside the concourse. We bought food from Burger King, it was very expensive and Luke warm. Unwelcoming place and would not visit again
