Was not made to feel welcome despite saying had a very bad back and needed a seat with a back and only 2 customers in café insisted I sit on a backless bench outside in the rain at that point with a rude owner I left

What a lovely place, lovely staff and so much interesting pieces for sale. The night before they had a lightning storm which throw their internet so it was cash only, which was probably a good job as I could have spent a fortune!!!! The cakes were devine Chocolate cake and the Lemon and Blueberry where the orders on our table! Not a place to be missed!

What a gem of a place this is, after a couple of hours sledging this was perfect for a little stop off for some hot drinks and cake (which are very yummy) the staff were amazing and took time to make us and our children welcome going that extra mile to help us with a couple of things, an absolute credit to the place would definitely recommend!

On our way through the Cairngorms and saw the signs for here and decided to stop off. Lovely little cafe with a great shop if you're needing gift ideas. Also the cakes are delicious which is always a bonus

I took Mum & Dad there for the special Mother's Day lunch yesterday. We have been before and enjoyed the homebaking, but the spread that was laid on was even more superb than usual if that is possible!. A bowl of homemade soup with a lovely chunk of homemade bread to start and then a selection of sandwiches and savouries beautifully presented on a slate tray. Followed by a cake stand of dainty cakes AND some lovely home made fruit scones with raspberry jam and cream. I was expecting the usual great baking but was bowled over by the wonderful spraed that was laid on for us. It made the day extra special. Fortunately the girls offered to box up what we couldn't eat so we can enjoy it all again today !! This really is a wonderful wee shop and cafe, with plenty of intersting items to browse in the the shop from cards and decorations to jewelry, some clothing and a items for the home. As for the scenery, well it is Scotland at its most bonny.

A true Scottish welcome by the owners and staff. The fare is just lovely and you have plenty of time to browse round the many shelves full of local fare. You can have a bowl of soup, a salad, a piece of homemade cake and wash it down with a cup of whatever you wish.

This is one of the lovies places I have been in in a long time. We did a six hour walk on the hills and to come into this wee heaven was great. We had home made soup and home made cake and a coffee. It was lovely and warm with a good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The shop had a lovely selection of gifts to bye and there was the local visitors centre at the back. A must so pop in and have a look but keep a eye on the road as the sinpost is not to big. There telephone number is 01250 882238 so give them a call if you are going through Glenshee.

We haven’t been to the inn for a while. But as Sunday lunch here has always been good we headed north for a family treat. And treat it was! They have a new chef, Thomas, who introduced himself to us (and other diners) and was keen to know if we had enjoyed our meal. We had! This is not a traditional Sunday roast - it’s above and beyond better. The gravy was sublime. I asked what was in it and he said chicken stock and a lot of love! Treat yourself this is the best ❤️

In town centre parking all around.Served quickly and friendly. Nice menu we both opted for the steak pie. Which didn’t disappoint tasted delicious and good portion size. We even greater ourselves to pudding - sticky toffee to be exact served with ice cream - absolutely delicious.£25 for 2 x 2 courses and soft drinks good value.Defo recommend.
