Been coming here since 2016, food is consistently great. Never had a bad meal Here. Sushi is great too ! Amazing value for money also

I’ve been coming to wasabi chain (now wazushi) for the last 15 years. The udon ramen remained consistent and delicious, get it every time.

Without knowing and guided by other recommendations, I found this small place with great flavor, I tried the Pork Tonkotsu Ramen. Without a doubt a gem within Chinatown in Manchester.

My favourite place for a quick, cheap lunch. The staff are really nice and there is always a good selection of cold sushi on the belt. The hot food, made to order is also really nice.

Sushi belt and ramen place.. good set menu for weekdays and weekends which is just the right amount of food (3 sushi plates + main) .. bit tight seating given sushi belt and sometimes need to wait during busy times but food is good and good value!

My ramen’s “chashu” was well done rather than soft, which is as hard as my noodles too. The uramakis is weirdly big, too much rice and not enough inside e.g. salmon. The broth was lovely though and the price is cheap. Good experience of sushi conveyor belt.

I visited here with some friends for the first time after a recommendation. I ordered a favourite dish of mine (Chicken Yakiudon) which was delicious, with a starter of salmon & avocado sushi from the conveyor belt/cold items. The service was fantastic and quick despite it being a lunch time. The Atmosphere was as expected with a quiet calm presence. Perfect to visit with friends and relax with a delicious menu, and of course great prices.

I always go to the dessert place upstairs. They have the best desert selection in town and it has been opened for as long as I know

This is a cracking place. The staff are kind, courteous and polite. The food is fantastic as is the desert upstairs. There are queues for the sushi, Japanese cuisine and deserts. Love it here.

Poor service, 10% excuse me, i’m serving my self and i have to pay for this? sushi that stayed in those balls for 6-7 hours not fresh at all, you order lemonade they bring you some sprite with ice. Very expensive, unpleasant experience.

An intimate casual dining restaurant with shared seating around a conveyor belt. Delicious food, knowledgeable staff, and great prices. Just watch out for the service charge before you leave a tip!

We come here atleast once a month. Everytime, we are met with smiles all round and and are made to feel extremely welcome. The food is phenomenal and doesnt cost a small mortgage if you want to take the family out to sample local cuisine.

Good food!! I prefer Wazuzhi more than Maki and Ramen, and House of Fu! All these for only £20.50 + 10% service charge (though I am not sure why there is service charge). Not bad at all. We enjoyed it and will definitely come back ☺️

One of my favourite places to eat in Manchester, great deals on all week and so nice.

Nothing special, really. We only tried sushi (conveyor belt) bar. Mostly vegetables and rice… Barely any fish — salmon, tuna, and some shrimp— and the teeniest pieces. None of my favs were on the belt (unagi, uni, saba, etc). Service is very awkward at this long table. Maybe ordering from menu is a better experience, but I do not recommend the sushi bar at all.

Needs a 10 star review option. Was brought here by a good friend who’s been a local at Wazsuhi for 16 years which explains alone how good this place is. I had the seared salmon sushi at first and it blew me away how the food just disappeared in my mouth leaving only flavour. We then had the teriyaki pork donburi which transported me to the streets of Japan with the amount of flavour it had. The interior and staff were welcoming and only added to the delight of this meal, i would highly recommend Wazushi to anyone as it was hands down some of the best food i’ve ever had. Thank you for blessing my belly.

The chicken katsu curry never disappoints, and is a weekday dinner staple! The service is always fast and simple, no extra waiting. The packaging is also very good, though I wish the bowls were a little deeper to make mixing easier. Otherwise one of the best Japanese comfort foods you can find in Chinatown.

I have been to this restaurant around 40-50 times over the years and it has never failed to deliver. Amazing food and great value. A real hidden gem, but you will sometimes need to queue to get inside, especially during the weekend

Incredible Ramen, sushi was very fresh and could request sushi dishes that didn't come along the belt often or had been taken prior to getting to you. Very clean and attentive staff. Well priced for quality of food and meat in ramen was very tender. Favourite place in China town to eat

Really liked the regular and the spicy tuna 😍. We arrived an hour and a half before closing time on a Saturday and very soon we were seeing the same few pieces of sushi pieces circling around; Ones that no one really wanted. Theres a sign that says they dont make any more sushi towards the end of the night to avoid food wastage 🙄. It didn't make sense to me cuz it was a Saturday and there were more people there than the sushi and it wasn't close to closing time. #reallywantedsomesalmon

Took my 10year old here for tea. I didn't realise it was conveyor belt restaurant; he was delighted. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Food is reasonably priced and tasty. Cost me less than yo sushi! They have a dessert room upstairs that was more expensive but very generous portions. I will definitely come back again.

Japanese food were delicious and affordable in this lovely place . The dinner sets were a great deal. Set A has lots of different sushi choices , and Set B has a bunch of ramen and other dishes to choose. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a blast on Friday night eating all that fresh sushi!

An all-around solid Sushi/Ramen house. Positives include. ●Excellent prices. ● Staff are pleasant, especially the wait staff. ●Food Delicious. Even the one Sushi I didn't enjoy, I could tell it was delicious even though it wasn't for my pallet. ●Good variety of food, including vegetarian and vegan. ●Short wait times. Negatives include: ●General confusion. If you understand how the conveyorbelt system works, there's no issue. If you're here for the first time, you'll be anxious about what to do. ●Conveyorbelt sushi had several items not on the menu and oddly had items that weren't on the menu. ●The Sushi conveyorbelt menu is barely visible without squinting. ●Miso soup was bland. ●Seating uncomfortable, squished against the wall. Overall, the cheap price point offsets most issues. However, there are quite a few issues, and if you're willing to put up with some minor annoyances, you'll enjoy it here.

Great experience at this sushi belt restaurant! The food was delicious and the prices were really reasonable. Lots of variety and the service was friendly too.

Went back to this place after not visiting for a while, saw the name change and was a bit worried. This place is just as good as it's ever been, always good food, good service and although it's a bit cramped it's worth being a bit squished in. Great food especially for the price

Best udon noodles I've had good quality milk tea and lots of options for many tastes

Food is great, although service can be slow and without order. I ordered drinks and food before 4 other patrons, and I waited 20 minutes for a half pint of coke, and they got their drinks before me, while not the end of the world, definitely makes the experience a tad worse than i would have preferred

What they provide is amazing value. Had a great budget meal, clearly hardworking chefs and waiting staff so i’d recommend tipping. It can be confusing going the first time though. If in doubt just call over a waiter. It’s also quite busy (and small) so be prepared to wait for a seat if you go at busy meal times.

I come here for lunch or dinner with friends and family whenever we feel for sushi. They are fully packed with so much variety, flavour and so many dishes you can order on top that is authentic enough to get a Japanese experience. My go-to types of dishes are the noodle soups because the broths are full of flavour and satisfy your hunger without being too much.

The food is below average. However, the dessert place is truly impressive! Their Bing su, also known as "Snow ice," surpasses the ones I've had in Asia.

Every time I come to Manchester, having dinner at Wazuzhi is a must. First time I came here in Oct/2022, still called Wasabi, we fell in love with the food and ever since the quality hasn’t changed. Hot food is served within few minutes, service is really good and staff is always nice. We tried different dishes and never got disappointed. Love it, love it, love it.

This is justifiably one of the best sushi places I've been to. A good choice of vegetarian options. 3:30pm was a good time to go as there was no wait for a seat.

The staff here, they need a raise! They were great but the place is TINY! crab walk everywhere, feel sorry for the staff working here, it must be tiring walking and squeezing through gaps like that. Food was nice but it has declined in the past few years, not as authentic. Price also raised but the sushi is nice. I like that you can order sushi that you cant see on the belt, so it is fresh!

I got the set b which was 3 grey or orange bowls and one main, and I got the chicken gyoza tonkatsu as a main. The sushi is expensive for what it is. The sushi bowls were ok and you get two pieces of whatever you choose. The main was underwhelming as the gyoza were akin to mush. Service was slow, perhaps due to the setup of the restaurant, which is awful. To put it simply it's cramped. We were directed to the end of the conveyor, which made it evidently difficult for the waitress to get to. All around it wasn't a satisfactory experience.

This has been on my list to go to forever and it was well worth the wait. Went with my 10 year old daughter. There was a 10 mins wait which I thought was lucky. I ordered the set menu 1 and daughter ordered the set dish A (6 items off the conveyor plus a bowl of miso soup) it was all to die for. The set menu was lovely from the sushi to the noodles in broth even the salad has an amazing dressing on. My daughter loved trying the different sushi and wolfed down the miso soup. Can't wait for an excuse to go again.

This has become mine and my partners favourite place, we travel from Preston and absolutely love the atmosphere and the service! It has now become our monthly tradition!

I went here for Tonkatsu. I have eaten this menu more frequent esp. in Japan. This shop doesn’t give a good tonkatsu just deep fried pork with rice. Pork fillet is very thin! I order green tea, but I got a cup with green tea bag!!! On the menu they said it is refilled but no idea how. This is totally different from Japanese shop. The best is price, cheaper than others.

The food here is amazing for anyone wondering about price you can do a main and 3 sushi plates of the belt for £14.50 at the weekend. Huge value for money; I had katsu curry and shared six plates of sushi with a friend. Would recommend. It’s quick, hot and tastes super fresh. Anything on the sushi menu that is not on the belt can be ordered for you. Definitely returning.

Service was the main issue. Staff were slow to clean slots and free up space leading to long waiting time despite seats being available. Ordered the spicy pork ramen but got regular instead. Otherwise, food was delicious and well priced.

I don’t like leaving a bad review. I love sushi and the vibes in here but I’ve had food poisoning twice now from this place and I’ve only ever been twice. So, the first time I got food from here it was lockdown, and early lockdown delivery sushi felt like I had it coming that it would pass right through me. Fair enough I told myself, sushi isn’t really meant for delivery, that’s not on them. The second time however was dinner tonight. I dined in at the counter and same thing happened. Within an hour of leaving the restaurant my food emergency exited my body. Oh the service was low as well since the wait to be seated was weirdly long while we were third in line, they just seem obviously under staffed.

Wow, wow, WOW! I walked through the door to be greeted by Kaho’s face - a very pleasant welcome indeed. Instantly the smells were making my mouth water, so I swiftly ordered the Duck Ramen. And swiftly it came, a meal of class, style, integrity and above all - TASTE! I ordered another one and as I feasted away the wonderful Kaho provided some light entertainment in the form of hip hop dancing. We got chatting away as we do and I told her about my nasty festering verruca, and she amazing reccomended me an amazing cream. She even accompanied me on her break to the nearest Boots and bought me the cream. The food is amazing, service exceptional and Kaho is so calm. Don’t miss out!

Warm atmosphere, really rich broth in ramen and tender shrimp katsu sushi, salmon was fresh and tasty. Helpful, super friendly and respectful staff. I so amazed to forget take picture of food itself 😂 but I’ll come back later for sure 🍀♥️
