Rubbish, expensive but tasteless , All the meals we ordered were tasteless. What baffles me is how tasteless the food here is.

I will reduce my review as I could write a bible about how bad this place is and why, but I will state the highlight for me, manager kicked us out for not spending enough on his alcohol and he proudly told us the fish is less than 7 days old precooked after serving us a frozen fish, he even asked the waitress to go microwave the fish properly 😭😭😭

Was invited to celebrate friend’s 30th birthday, upon arrival the waitress was completely clueless about the booking and how many people to expect. Had to wait for the waitress to double check to be seated at our table. Found this very unprofessional. Before placing our food/drinks, one of my friends made the waitress aware she was pregnant and needed the food to be mild and not too spicy. Was reassured several times the food is not spicy. Unfortunately, my friend had to send back the food twice because the food was too spicy causing her heartburn. She ended up not eating anything the whole night. After all our orders were placed, we waited 1hr to be told by the waitress they ran out of chicken and Chips. We had to reorder and waited additional 2 hrs, when it did arrived the food was served cold. We had to send it back to the kitchen to be reheated which took awhile 30mins. So in total 3 times we had to send our food back to the kitchen. My friend had a bday cake to be lit up, however they initially didn’t want to light the candles but did eventually. The candles on the cake were placed badly the birthday candles was suppose to spell happy birthday but was spelt backwards. Only two candles was lit up. Customer service of this restaurant was extremely poor and slow, every waitress had a bad attitude and seemed to be clueless. Which isn’t their fault completely, this is down to the manager of this restaurant. The manager of the restaurant needs to have more structure, organisation, people skills, customer service and train their staff to make this restaurant a better place. Only good thing was the DJ playing good music. (Mostly afrobeats) Food 5/10 - over powering of spices Drinks 4/10 - overpriced very watered down (cocktails)

Awful atmosphere, poor customer service. When you order your food, they will forget your order and you would have to order it again. How you place order on deliveroo and they call you to say they cant see my whole order and still send me the wrong thing. Never again - the staff need to learn some manners or get training in customer services. This experience actually ruined my day. You will be disappointed if you attend here. Be warned and don't be exploited!

The service was awful the portions of prawns looked like someone left overs it says tiger king prawns but they looked more like Iceland frozen prawns they was not butterflied so clearly not washed, the portions were extremely small, and to top it off I think there were 4/5 if they were tiger king prawns this would have been acceptable but come on this is ridiculous. We had to drive 20mins to collect we was asked if we was going to pay fraudulently when we told them we was paying cash. When they left 2 things of the order we had to drive back to receive missing items and had to argue with them to even get the missing order. We would definitely not get food from here again wasted £60

We visited this restaurant with some optimism after seeing the good reviews. It was way below standards. First of all the cleanliness is not up to scratch, we had to ask for a replacement cop twice. Then the peppermint tea was served in a pot with a lid that didn't fit so naturally the tea cooled before we had more than 1 cup. Then the food was beyond a joke we were famished so we ordered the chef special and it was full of promise, grilled fish, chicken and meat with fried plaintain and yam. We were presented with a large appearance which on first appearances seemed fairly presentable. However the meat was clearly not fresh. It was barely warm. The chicken was bony and revolting. The neck, the ribs and all the bits you would not serve to a dog were cut up on the platter. This was barely warm. The only highlight was the plaintain which was hot as was the yam. The ginger shitto wasn't great. Our cutlery was served in the hand wipes that are used to dry hands in hospital loos. Overall the place is either very inconsistent- hence the good reviews or appealing to those too hungry or first (single) time visitors! We both had minor stomach discomfort after our experience and this has to be because the food is not piping hot or served with much love. The waitress was civil but became surly after we asked for a clean cup! This is a sad review to write, I am looking for a lovely Nigerian restaurant in London that has some respect for its customers with a passion for food.

Wazobia is a place to go to when you want to be relaxed in both style, service and then if you feel like it you can "tun it up after "................................Food is good, served relaxed way, so don't be in too much of a hurry, nice Friday/Sat place; leave the bling at home and dress for dancing, DJ's & Music good, atmosphere great, this is an African Style place and done well; if you want an upgrade then there's a more upscale place just up the same road, but if it's good food, polite service (if but slow) and a good dance, then this it. Good place that I've been to a few times with both friends and husband. Price's are good too.

The last Nigerian restaurant I went to in Dallas, TX, was a disappointment, so when I was invited out to this one, I was skeptical. The truth is I was pleasantly surprised, the place was well decked out, easy to find, the food tastes almost like back home, and I had fish pepper soup. A member of our group had nkwobi and thier serving bowls were aesthetically pleasing, almost Japanese looking, not the fraudulent ones we know back home. Prices were, well, average and drinks were cold. Only down side was it took a while to get our food out, but it was worth the wait

They even switch off the light before all of us get our food I have to leave my table to ask for the light to switch on. No one even come to help serve the wine are ask if we are ok. I ask to speak to the supervisor and was told not tonight. On August 29. .

Had a great night out with some girlfriends. We wanted a night of good music and good company and good food. I had suya for starters which was very good. The fish pepper soup was exceptionally fresh and tasty. It is your typical Nigerian joint so nothing extraordinary there so if you're used to this kind of atmosphere and venue you'll like it.

decor was ok but thats about it. there were not enough people to serve, although polite did not listen and seemed to have loads of things to do. it took ages to get someone to take an order. when we did get someone to take it they could not help explain menu i am African but not familiar with many Nigerian dishes do needed help maybe the menu could be more descriptive. The prices were silly.....way too expensive for the food delivered and location. we sat down and had drinks waiting for our order it took so long i lost track of time my hunger took another depth and fish and chips became a considered option. I was forced to ask how long things would be but never got an update. billing had some ghost dishes basically added food we never got to see although deducted without a fuss we did not get an apology. when i asked to pay i was told the bill would come to me but i had this fear we would wait for another long stretch. place was noisy i could barely hear myself think above the noise from the music videos. if one has time on their hands has money to waste and would like to eat the unknown and unexplained and be ignored and pay for the pleasure then this is the place to go. If one would like to explore Nigerian cuisine try elsewhere they dont give a damn and dont have the time to introduce to anything better than a couple of hours of chaos and noise. London has alot to offer best try the rest.

Went in a large group of about 15 people on a Friday night and were accommodated so we could all sit at one long table. The food was tasty and well priced, especially the nkwobi, considering that many places do not do it and those that do charge a premium for it. I tasted a number of dishes and the only one that I was disappointed with was the egusi as they had added sugar to it and my palate just could not adapt to that. Where things fall down is the service. The staff were all polite and friendly but that doesn't really matter when it takes forever to bring the first dish and then people are still waiting to eat when others have finished. We would ask where certain dishes were and they would say "its coming" and then of course you would wait what felt like forever. The best option here is to get lots of starters and share so no one is left hungry and waiting for food.

Me sentí decepcionado y salimos.

Normally go to 805 on Old Kent Road which is really great food, good service and reasonable value. We were close to 805 Hyde Park so dropped in. The service was very good with a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately only maybe a quarter of the food menu was available. Customers actually walked in, were told various dishes weren’t available so the customers walked out. We ordered Beef Suya, Jollof Rice with chicken, Egusi with fried fish, 2 cokes and a Gulder beer and it came to £116.44. The food was very nice but over priced compared to the same food at Old Kent Road. Egusi with Fried Fish £30, Old Kent Road £22. Beef Suya £24, OKR £17. Jollof Rice with Chicken £27, OKR £18. Gulder beer £11.50, OKR £6.50 Coke £5.50, OKR So the cost of a meal with a limited choice is not really worth it even though the restaurant is in a central location. I’ll be heading back to Old Kent Road for my Nigerian food fix in future.

Such a great food! I’ve never tried African food before and Kenyan food is definitely so delicious! Everything was prepared very freshly and they have the best chapati ever! Would definitely recommend and will come again.
