Very restricted lunch menu, only soup or baked potato. When I enquired about sandwiches was told they could make some on white bread but these were not on the menu. We didn’t stay.

I come here every week for a coffee and a bacon roll. The cafe is simple and clean inside and nice and peaceful too. The rolls are always soft and fluffy fresh, and the bacon is great here , not too salty and great taste. I like just a simple coffee - and get a great tasting BIG mug of coffee here. Best of all, the staff are always really nice, friendly and polite. It's really good value here too. Much nicer than other fancier looking places in town. Would recommend!

A hidden gem. Tucked inside the Fishing Museum is a friendly cafe with a lovely sunny courtyard. You don't need to visit the museum to enjoy this great cafe. Home made cakes are fresh, delicious and very well priced. Staff friendly and engage with customers - even those just having a quick seat in the sun after visiting the museum. It's easy to miss and very little obvious advertising. Don't be put off. A friendly place with great cakes.

Stopped here for breakfast We were let in at exactly the time they opened and the place filled up quite quickly. Place was bright and clean and I had a view of the harbour across the road. Brought a dog so we were asked to sit in the rear of the restaurant I had toasted cheese and ham with a salad and a tea and my partner had Soup and wholemeal bread which they said were delicious 😋 There's a courtyard at the rear with seating and tables for nice days The courtyard is surrounded by buildings going back 400 years.Very interesting to learn about Anstruthers past Very quick service and friendly staff Thank you very much

Been here several times for light lunch/coffee and cake prior to coastal walk, food and service always been good, and reasonably priced. Las visit. Mediterranean Tomato soup was exceptional, the whole reason for writing this review.

Sushi was not cold and nothing really tasted like sushi from any of the places I've ever had it (30-40 times in the last 10 years). Imitation krab used as well instead of real crab. Haggis roll was alright, as was the tempura, but definitely not going back. Quality was less than supermarket sushi.

Recommended by friend, we came here for the girls talk 🗣️ from Edinburgh city . The restaurant is clean and the staff served us very well . Staff very nice and always welcome us. Here has variety of Dim Sums you can choose. The food is 90s’ Hong Kong restaurant food taste which you are really difficult to find it in Hong Kong now. Worth to come again and try another food. 1. crispy seasame shrimp roll 2. Pan-fry Bun 3. crispy radish puff with truffle sauce 4. lamb stew 5. cheung fun

Best fudge doughnuts I've ever eaten by a distance. An institution in St Andrews for a reason!
