I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a wedding party. Check-in was easy and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Our evening meal and breakfasts were nice and the service was good, the waiting on staff didn't stop and all seemed to work really long hours. Wedding meal and service also very good. The room had good facilities and a massive bed. Nice little balcony and sea/golf course view. However, it needed to be cleaned better. There were cobwebs in all the corners (we checked in on Friday and they were still there on the Sunday), the seal on the shower screen was missing so the floor got soaked when showering, there was dirt around the bottom of the toilet and where the screws are. I rinsed the bath out with the shower (as I always do) and then ran a bath. When I went to get into it, there was a scum line all round the edge. I had to empty the water out, clean the bath and re run it. Many of the guests staying said their room wasn't very clean either. When asked upon check-out how our stay was, I politely commented about the lack of cleanliness and was completely shut down and dismissed and was told the hotel does get dusty and it's just one of those things. With some modernization and a good clean, this hotel could be really great!

We had a really lovely stay here. On arrival we were warmly greeted and told our room had been upgraded for free. So we stayed in the Luxury Four Poster room, which had a really comfortable bed, plenty of room and a gorgeous big balcony overlooking the Fourth and the Golf Course links. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both were delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

We had to wander about the reception/lounge bar area before we could find a member of staff. Our order was taken efficiently, and coffee was served by our friendly server. Lovely lounge with stunning views over the Firth of Forth. Worth a visit for a taste of old world charm.

Yesterday, a very bad impression was made by the receptionist who was sniffing and speaking in an incomprehensible way without looking in the eyes and doing something else: for this reason I would give zero stars but the room is quiet (even if the carpet is not very clean), the bathroom is modern, the bed it's comfortable, the sea view from the breakfast room is spectacular! Furthermore, the young blonde waitress is very pretty and very kind, so I went straight to the stars. Unfortunately, however, max 3 because we stayed for three days and already on the second day they forgot to redo the room so we didn't even have soap to wash ourselves.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Old Manor Hotel and I must say, it was a truly picturesque experience. The hotel is situated on the coast, offering stunning sea views and a lovely overlook of a golf course. I stayed at this charming hotel while working in the area, and it provided the perfect retreat after a long day. Upon arrival, I did notice that the receptionist seemed to give me a slightly judgmental look. As a manual worker in the agricultural sector, I was understandably quite dirty when I arrived. It seemed that the people who checked in before me were dressed very nicely, and I couldn't help but feel like I didn't quite fit the typical clientele they were trying to attract. However, any initial concerns I had quickly faded away once I stepped into my room. The room at The Old Manor Hotel was incredibly comfortable, and I was delighted to find that it had a drench shower that was absolutely amazing. The overall finish of the bathroom was of a very high standard, reflecting the attention to detail and care put into its design. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the hotel was truly exceptional, which speaks volumes about the dedication and hard work of the hospitality staff. Although I didn't have the chance to try the evening meals at the hotel's restaurant, I can't comment on their quality. However, breakfast was included in the price of the room, and I must admit that I found it slightly disappointing. The continental options were quite limited, and the Scottish breakfast portion size was on the smaller side. Due to medical reasons, I had requested a breakfast without bacon or sausage, as I had been advised to avoid highly processed foods. While I did ask for extra mushrooms, I only received one. I didn't want to come across as a demanding customer and decided not to make a fuss when the breakfast arrived, even though it wasn't exactly what I had anticipated. Although I understand that breakfast options may be limited, as a paying guest, a bit more flexibility in customisation would have been appreciated. Despite the slightly underwhelming breakfast experience, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Old Manor Hotel. The comfortable room, breathtaking setting, and impeccable cleanliness all contributed to a pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others, with the only suggestion being to explore alternative breakfast options if customisation is important to you.

On the main road in Lunden Links, the Old Manor Hotel is a property with a picturesque setting. However, its potential was marred by a series of shortcomings during our recent stay. The staff, though polite, were unable to make up for the slow service that characterized my time there. My room was modern but had a few issues. The lighting was inadequate, creating a dim atmosphere, and there was a noticeable presence of mold around the bath, raising concerns about cleanliness. To add to these problems, the remote control for the TV was missing, and the wooden balcony, which could have been a lovely feature, was left in a state of disrepair with limited light due to the surrounding trees and a noticeable lack of cleanliness. Despite these problems, I did enjoy the breathtaking views and reasonably priced drinks during a quiet afternoon spent relaxing and soaking in the beautiful scenery. The stunning vistas from the restaurant were a particular highlight, setting the scene for an enjoyable dinner. The steaks were absolutely delicious, but, once again, the service proved to be slow. Breakfast was another disappointment, as the vegetarian haggis advertised on the menu was unavailable for the vegetarian breakfast option – a detail only communicated to me when the meal was served. Similarly, the standard breakfast lacked bacon, and I was not informed of this omission until it was too late. In summary, the Old Manor Hotel in Lunden Links offers a spectacular setting and delightful views, but many small problems ultimately spoiled my stay. From the tired decor to the numerous issues with my room and the lack of communication regarding breakfast options, the hotel failed to meet my expectations. While the delicious steaks and picturesque vistas were noteworthy, they were not enough to redeem the overall experience.

We had lunch with friends. Lovely menu and food. Good service in the restaurant which has spectacular views over Lundin Links golf course to Edinburgh over the Forth estuary. Public areas are all well presented.

Staff were lovely and the food was great. The views are fantastic aswell and the atmosphere inside was lovely. Would definitely recommend although definitely not for one on a budget! Not ridiculously expensive and you do get value for money but it’s still on the pricey side.

A very enjoyable and tasty venue for a traditional high tea. Had to remind the staff about drinks a few times but that was a minor issue

Stayed overnight with my better half along with my elderly parents, both in their 80s now. Mum suffers from dementia and her mobility isnt great but the hotel staff couldn't have been any more thoughtful and attentive towards her ensuring that she was happy with seating arrangements at dinner and even returning her handbag the following day when she forgot to lift it the previous night after dinner. As for the hotel, room was standard but very good size and was spotlessly clean. The food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent. Shout out for all the staff, all excellent, especially the attentive restaurant staff at dinner.
