Waterfortune Chinese in Derry

Food was medium warm so cooled v quickly sauces v thin . This used to be a great take away. Chilli dishes lacking kick.

I have been eating out of this Chinese for a long time and it's the best one by far never had a bad Chinese from this place reasonably priced lovely staff a quick delivery highly recommend to anyone

Disappointing takeaway meal, i took a few mouthfuls and then found a hair. My husbands and daughters orders where not much better. Wont be ordering again. Chips where awful.

Probably the worst takeaway I’ve ever eaten. The chips tasted as if they where reheated several times . The chicken curry was very watery and the chicken what was of it ,was slimy and again tasted reheated.The salt chilli chicken was at best very ordinary. This was a complete waste of £20 as most of it went into the bin, what was once one of the best Chinese restaurants in town is now probably the worst!

Just had a basic S & S chicken. Previous quality and service has been very good so I've driven past several takeaways to use this one. No more! Chicken like week_old rope. Restaurant quiet for a lockdown weekend. Hardly surprising.

The food here used to be the best however the past few times I’ve had takeaway it has been poor and prices extortionate. Prawn crackers were soggy. Chips rock hard and clearly re heated. I would avoid!

This was one of the best Chinese to order takeaway, however the standard of food has dropped considerably firstly the chips they are left over cooked chips not always warm and if you get half in half specials this is what you receive, curry can also be a hit and miss and other dishes will be the same. I appreciate it can be busy but that should not be to the detriment of the food, staff could do with some customer care training some of them don’t have a clue while others are downright rude. Social distancing is a joke! I had 30 minute stand on the street and it was lashing with rain, one customer at a time allowed in...yet there is plenty of room up the stairs even for social distancing just needs a good member of staff to reorganise. When you phone an order in staff gives you a rough time for collection more than often by the time you wait outside in the queue it’s cold. If this Chinese does not up the standard quickly there will be no customers at all.

Prices have gone up hill and food has gone down, think tonight is my last night I’ll order from here.

Never had fried rice like it.. chicken fried rice with peking sauce.. so greasy I couldn't eat it there was even a pool of grease at the bottom of the box.

Greasy fried rice drowned in pink nuclear waste (aka peking sauce). Half a filled container portion and utterly disgusting.... Never be back... Horrible.

I had heard great reports about this restaurant but was disappointed. The staff were good but they are so busy carrying take out food through the restaurant it spoils the atmosphere. Some of us enjoyed the meal but others found it very dry. Reasonably priced but will not be in a hurry back

This was a good takeaway at a time but in recent years the service at front of house is shocking . The younger girls are ok at best but the older staff are down right ignorant . One in particular I think is the manageress her manners are terrible. I’ll not be back in the place and I would urge anyone else to try another place as coming out of here puts you in bad mood .

Hi I ordered Waterfortune at 5.45pm and said Asap 6.30pm. It still hadnt arrived at 6.50 pm so i phoned Waterfortune and said to give it another 10 mins.It arrived at 6.58pm and was cold and the chips were disgusting-they seemed to be cooked left sitting and recooked.Not at all happy and i hope you could pass on feedback.Order No.9512 Many Thanks Paula

This restaurant serves mediocre food but the customer service from the unpleasant counter staff is atrocious I will never step foot in the door again .

Ordered three dishes for collection, only received two. Girl on phone didn't even confirm order she just hung up so i suppose we were lucky we got anything at all.
