Ordered 3 dinners for collection, sent partner to lift only to realise when he got home that their were only two dinners instead of three and charged £30 for them tried ringing phone constantly being hung up so went back in now this is to drive from country back in again to rectify, when I walked in the girl was already aware that there was a wrong order sent out, these dinners I got the week prior which were £6 now up to £10 shocking will not be back

Shockingly bad, more oil in the carbornora than the oil rig in Russia. The bag of chips had burnt tobacco onions the full way through. For £15 it's definitely a robbery. First photo is taking some oil out with kitchen roll and the second is how much was left after removing pasta. Avoid, literally.

I ordered from the let’s eat app. Food was here quick enough I’ll not lie, however. There was bits of clingfilm in my champ. That is a disgrace. If that happened to be orderd for a child they’d of swallowed it! I tried to ring several times and it rang out! Poor poor service. Will not be ordering from here again !!!

Do not even deserve 1 star! Online order placed and paid for. Went to collect and told system down but order not be processed?? Money taken out but not refunded....left details on site for them to organise refund....nothing!! Only two app orders made, but disappointingly, on 1st order, they put dessert (banoffee pie) for whatever ridiculous reason, in bag upside down and on top of the hot food and it arrived mashed, melted and inedible, it went in bin 😔 and on 2nd, they phoned to say cudn't fulfill my delivery and offered refund, still waiting for it months later....obviously they're not bothered and delusionally think I'm made of money....😤😡

Got 2 burger meals just now one with pepper sauce and the other with white wine sauce, There was ABSOLUTELY NO flavour at all, no white wine in sauce just a blob of cream., pepper sauce was like flavourless gravy, the burger meat was wafer thin n burned n a big flour dry bun, onions were grease logged, I dont know if its changed hands or just going down hill but that was really bad, they would need to step up their game n get it back to were it was.

Had a voucher for justeat so went and got Bistro 9. Definetly not a 9/10 meal anyway. 2/10 at best, given that my dish was a good size (salt and chilli chicken) although the chicken was tough and not all that much curry sauce given. Everyone else had different dishes but said it was just ok. It was nothing special, and nothing like restaurant quality food. Plus I think that the menu doesn’t stand out. It’s all good you could make better at home. The delivery time was way too long, and when it went past the estimated delivery time, I rang to see where it was and the girl definitely lied when she said it was on its way. Even tho the just eat app status hadn’t changed. Arrive about 15 mins after she said. Anyways...

Absolutely disgusted at my meal from here tonight. Ordered at roughly 5.15pm and said it would arrive at 6.10pm then changed to 6.20pm. Arrived at 5.55pm which I was happy with. When it arrived and i was sorting out the meals I realised that there was no side orders there, I rang down straight away and the girl said she would get fresh ones on and sent straight up. They arrived at 6.35pm cold, covered I grease and the tobacco onions could not have been further from being crispy like they should be. The pitta pockets must have been done in some kind of gravy too which completely ruined the taste of them. I understand that businesses are really struggling at the minute but this was absolutely ridiculous.

I dont know how they r still open.. I've not heard a good review about them in years .. got a delivery not long ago and my partners burger looks like it was kicked around the kitchen. It was dripping with grease.. he asked for Bombay potatoes and they sent dry potatoes .. we only gave it the benefit of the doubt cuz we hadn't ate in it for ages.. absolutely vile and it's always stone cold when u get it.. the owner must ne a millionaire cuz it's not the customers keeping it open... clean rotten do us all a favour an shut your doorz

My first time ordering from bistro 9 I always get a Mandarin Palace for takeaway (best chinese in town)....I used Clooney Terrace on recommendation from my daughter Laura and I have to say we all loved it....we got restaurant quality spicy chicken pasta, garlic chips, kids burger and chips and a quarter pounder and side salad of onions tomatoes coleslaw and lettuce .....the portion sizes were generous and great value for money. I will be regularly ordering from bistro 9 in the future, dont know what took me so long! Oh I almost forgot the gravy dip....delicious!

I have got food out of here twice and both times I have had hairs in my food. Only this time it was a clump of hair with fur on it melted in among the cheese in the nachos. I actually threw up was disgusting. Not acceptable. I rang back to speak to the manager and her words were "I don't know what u want me to say" was offered a replacement but I don't drive so would have had to pay a taxi back in there was no offer to send it out to me or anything. Horrendous food and customer service. Avoid.

We've given this place a few chances but recently it's been very poor. Tonight we were told order would be ready in 15 mins. Husband went to collect and he waited 40 mins in there to pick up the order only to find when he got home that two orders were missing. Rang and were told they would be delivered up... 30 mins late .. Still waiting... Not impressed. Too many young ones working in there and no one seems to be taking charg .. Disappointing as bistro 9 used to be decent.. Gone downhill badly

We ordered 2 Spanish Chicken with a portion of veg, cheese and bacon champ and garlics. The Chicken was so over seasoned I couldn't finish it. The "veg" was poor, a few carrots and cabbage that were overcooked. Then what seemed like yesterday's champ and in place of diced potatoes garlic was thrown over some chips that were far from fresh. I would expect subpar food from quick service but this took over 45 minutes! Will never be back. Used to be much much better.

The crazy chaos service here is total entertainment, felt so sorry for the staff who seem pleasant enough. Ordered online but because they were running out of food they switched off the online order printer and said I shouldn't have been able to order. Showed her I'd ordered and paid. They made an alternate order but another girl then tried to charge me again. Card machine was also down and while I waited another 20 minutes for my new order another customer came back from home to demand a refund for "the worst fish he ever had". Dont this think I'll be back.

Used to be a decent place for food. Really went down hill. Prices have also went up gradually, so it’s very expensive for a takeaway. Mains don’t include a side or get a discounted side when buying a main. Then they charge extra for dips. £18.50 for two portions of Goujons, garlics and two dips. You can eat in local restaurants at lunch for cheaper.

Didn't realise their Whitehouse branch had closed, so only realised after I had ordered online that I would have to collect from the Waterside. Called the number on the app to cancel, dead line. Called both numbers listed online, both rang out. Could have just not shown up, as I hadn't paid online, but I did the decent thing and drove across town to collect. They couldn't have been less bothered by the contact problems if they tried. Lesson learned, doesn't matter how good the food is (and it was just OK) bad service costs you customers.

Received order after 1hr 30 mins and they had forgotten Garlic fries. When I rang them they said the driver wouldn't be going my way tonight again and we only lived not even 10 mins away. They said they wd refund the garlics and next time we ordered we'd get a free dessert. They tend to not read further information box on online ordering either as my other items where as described. So disgusted with this and it's not the 1st time this has happened. I won't be ordering again...Ruined my Saturday night treat 🤬

For the second time in one week our order has been wrong. Not like a pitta pocket with no veg is hard to understand. Asked for taco on both which we got a few days back. Didnt get that either. Rang up and explained the order was wrong and therr was no taco on the pitta pocket. For someone on the phone to keep asking me to wait there anytime i spoke. Another woman in the back telling her what to say like a parrot. Was told that they no longer have taco and to have a look on the new menu to see this. Went down again and opened the menu where it states they do have taco sauce. What a silly thing to lie over. Then i was told that tye till roll had run out so theu couldnt see the comments. Explained that the reciept waa stabled on the bag i had with the comments i had wrote shown. By the time we got back to the house the rest of oit food was cold. Aboustely worst take away ever !!!! Do not order from here waste of money and never read your comments on your order

I must say I'm really disappointed with the quality of the food over the last few attempts of eating here. The pasta was always a favourite of mine however on the last few occasions it was like slime, today's tasted sour and sickening. The garlic chips have so much oil/grease in the tin they turned too moosh. If I could rate lower than 1 I would.. stay clear they have changed from well cared bistro food to rushed takeaway. Sitting here grumpy eating a snickers for my dinner because I couldn't even be bothered to ring and complain, not that it would change much.

The food was sloppy and cold ordered 2 desserts charged for them and didn't arrive with the order phoned up and a girl said it will be a while yet before I can get it over to you there she was giggling down the phone no apology at all . I get the desserts over an hour later to find out they where delivered to the wrong address (This wasn't the delivery man's fault ) only I seen him and knew it was my order the delivery man wouldn't have found the house as the address he was given didn't exist I'm totally disgusted I will never get out off there again By the way I had too give use 1 star so that I could write a review as you really have no stars have a word with your staff as that girl thought it was funny😡

Thieves plain and simple. Charged me £5 more than items cost on their menu so will never be back. Hate thieves and this is what it was, online order comes in around £19 yet person is shop charges almost £25. Wouldn't mind if food was edible but in No world is this restaurant quality food, it's at best poor chip shop quality. The last 3 times I have ordered, there has been something missing from the order, wether it’s dessert or a side order it’s never right. Ordered pasta and garlics and Fanta tonight, garlics missing- phoned back as soon as I discovered and said they would be straight over. 30 minutes later still no garlics phoned back again and told delivery driver didn’t have access to building. Ten minutes later they finally arrived and the driver said he got into the building a while ago and knocked and said I didn’t answer. Complete lies I have a dog and as soon as he hears someone at the door he barks like mad. Two different stories between counter staff and delivery driver so someone is lying..... and whoever packs the orders needs to go back to primary school for a lesson in basic maths - I’ve worked in takeaways before - if there are 3 things on the ticket then there should be three things in the bag. Not exactly rocket science.... oh and 40 minutes later when they did arrive, they were rock hard and frozen had to be binned and sorry but from clooney terrace to Foyle road almost a fiver delivery - extortion. No wonder you don’t list the delivery price on the receipt.......

Phoned into Bistro9 for a collection order at 19.05 .. got there about 10/15 mins later having travelled from outside Donemana for it.. ended up waiting till 19.50 for it to ready .. when our order was ready it actually had been sitting in a plastic bag for at least 10mins. When we got all the way home, we'd been given the wrong order. Customer service seems to be lacking also as the girl behind the counter seemed as if she'd zero interest in being there or being civil to customers.

The food is always excellent standard and reasonably priced. The only thing I don't understand about Bistro 9 is why they don't open at 12.30 or even 1.00 pm on Sundays for lunch - they must be losing a huge lot of trade by opening after what most people regard as lunch time.

First the good. The ladies at the front of house are extremely nice and friendly and well presented. From our group of 4, 2 had pasta dishes which are cooked fresh and they said it was very nice. Now the bad. Two of us had burgers and these are not freshly cooked but pre cooked and heated in the microwave. Small bits were missing from the order like onions from my burger. The hygiene was questionable as I only saw one cook using gloves and that was only on one hand. Surfaces were not wiped at any time we was in there waiting and utensils used on several different food stuffs. The final problem was the time we had to wait, around 40 minuets. All in all I will never use Bistro 9 again and will not recommend.

My teenage son chose bistro 9 for a take away meal for his birthday night celebrations. I phoned at 6.30pm on a Monday evening , the girl said could take up to 1 and a half hrs for delivery, I agreed after I gave order! I phoned at 8pm, girl said be with me soon , then at 8.15pm same thing again , then at 8.30pm same thing again! I then get a phone call from a mobile to say the girl took down wrong address even with me telling her my address in them phone calls i made to her and they would have make up fresh food!I declined to order again and an apology wasn't enough to tell my son no food was to be coming to him on his special day .

I have been a regular customer of this take away and just spent £30 on cold food that my family could not eat. Not only was it cold but also hard and over cooked.. I took one bite out of the sirloin and won't say anything else about that. The staff also need to be taught how to be polite on the phone but then with the manners the managers as had I'm not surprised they are not well trained. I have never had any problems with the food ir staff in the past but this evenings experience means i will not be recommending this place and will not be a returning customer anymore.

Was very disappointed today to find that they no longer do kids meals. They are now open 2 -9 yet I called at 4pm and they had run out of Roast Beef. Surely if they were opening longer hours they would have extra food to cover these hours on a Sunday. Very disappointing!

I've never had an issue with Bistro 9. Food is always top notch, very tasty and reasonably priced. Portion size is also very good. Sunday dinners are highly recommended. Just make sure you ring the correct number as they have two units.

food was going cold by the time I got it. Chips were hard as a rock, freezing and of a slightly grey colour. The pasta in the carbonara was chewy like play dough, the chicken and the sauce was not nice only decent part was bacon. The spicy beef pasta was okay. The food is too expensive for such poor quality.

Probably the worst customer service I have ever experience! We went and ordered food from bistro 9 Clooney terrace on the 21/1/17 at 6.00pm we waited 35 mins for our order then to go home and find the whole order wrong we got the right burger but everything else was completely wrong we have mash in stead of chips we have a chips cheese and gravy instead of chicken escalope we didn't get tabaco onions as we ordered them, and every sauce was wrong! We took the food back and as annoyed as I was I was completely nice to the girl and she argued abit but then agreed to redo my food! She then had the cheek to talk about me to her colleges loud enough so I could hear her! Most places would have the decency to wait until the person is gone before they talk about them and unfortunately she wasn't wearing a name badge so I didn't know her name, we got our food and went home to find out the chicken gougons were missing we were angry enough as it is! I rang and ask why they didn't put them in and the argued that they definitely did so I was so angry that I asked for a refund my partner was the one who took the food back and they just threw the money at him with out a word of being sorry! I am so shocked at this standard of customer service, I work with customers myself so I know what's expected! Would not recommend going here at all!

I ordered 3 Sunday lunches as a friend popped in. The order was far too salty. The turkey and ham had no roast potato and 5 chips in place. The portions were very poor. I rang up and complained and was offered another meal. I declined as this will be my last time. £18 wasted. WILL NEVER BE BACK

Poor meal. Hair in food. Poor customer service from staff: I ordered a Chicken Caeser Salad at Bistro 9 This evening. I expected for 5.25£ to get a decent sized portion of what I ordered. However, when I got home and opened my meal I was disappointed at the size and content. The portion was tiny with a thin bed of iceburg lettuce, very little bacon, soggy croutons and was served with garlic mayo dip instead of ceaser dressing which one would expect to receive when ordering a "Chicken Ceaser Salad". As I do not like garlic mayo I proceeded to eat what was a very dry meal and shortly discovered a short black hair in the amongst the lettuce; with this I decided to ring the store and make my complaint. I talked to a lady called Lisa on the phone and explained my issue. I firstly said that on the menu beside the other salads it specifies which dressing/dip they are served with however with the chicken caesar it does not which it indeed should if they are serving chicken caesar salad with garlic mayo instead of caesar dressing. I then continued and expressed my concerns about the hair which was an already unsatisfactory meal. I was not offered anything and received no remorse or apology for this and I had to ask for a replacement meal to be delivered. I asked if the Thai Green Curry was spicy as I do not eat spicy food and I was told no; so I ordered it. However, I was told by another household member who was at the time eating this dish said it was extremely spicy. I called back the Bistro to change the order that I had placed under false recommendation by staff member Lisa. Lisa talked over me and spoke with a cheeky tone not satisfactory of basic customer service. Lisa also was oblivious to the fact that I had a hair in my salad when I reiterated it - I doubled checked I was speaking to the same staff member which she confirmed I was; this makes me question the lack of care that the Bistro staff have for the bussiness' rapport with their customers. She told me that it'd be an hour before the new delivery of carbonara would be delivered to me; I expressed that I didn't think that was an acceptable waiting time for delivery after the service I'd already reviewed and Lisa said that it wasn't her fault and that's the waiting time. I accepted this as I was not being helped any further by the staff of Bistro9. It is clear that the Bistro is very inconsistent with all of it's ratings either being 5 stars or 1star, with nothing in between. I will not be returning to the Bistro again.

Horrendous, the food was 20 minutes over what we were advised but no big deal at this time of year HOWEVER! When it arrived one of the orders was wrong, all three were congealed like they'd been lying around for a good while before being sent out. They charged £8 each for three specials the first two practically inedible and were dumped the third one after eating two thirds I discovered a piece of slate/tile/stone whatever the hell it was is not intended to be in food whatsoever. First and absolute last time I ever order food from here seriously folks don't waste your money 🤬

Very expensive. Myself and 3 kids got 3 meals and an extra plain noodle and it cost over £80 And small quantity. My local is half the price and twice as nice.
