I often go get my matcha-ceremony-tea for 4£. Can you believe you can get a healing from just watching them make your matcha ? Go in, sit at the bar, enjoy a true samurai healing experience in the heart of Notting Hill. One of the matcha masters explained to me indeed that this was used to heal warriors back in the day. I understood better why I felt great shivers on top of the head just watching them make it for me. And so well located. Add one of their typical sweets of the month.

Looking for a present I curiously ventured in to buy a kimono. Ended up buying more and one for myself as they were so beautifully designed to perfection. Staff were amazing and very hospitable especially the Manager. Very warm and extremely respectful in the usual Japanese custom... lots of bowing, arigatos' and "sayonaras" . The staff were from different cities in Japan and different insights and perspectives into aspects of Japanese culture ,regions, ceremonies and food. Eventually ended up at the counter for a little traditional tea preparation ceremony. The freshly prepared tasty matcha tea and the delicious Wagashi white bean paste put the icing on the cake to one of the most interesting , friendly and highly insightful stops in the Notting Hill neighbourhood I have made in recent times. Highly recommended especially if you are looking for a nice present for a dear one. B.A. from Kensington 8-2-17

I have visited this establishment three times in just one month since discovering it by chance. A friend and I were captured by the beautiful window display which drew us into a sheer delight of wonder and curiosity. An array of colourful Silk Kimono's greet you as you your senses are ignited with the aroma of freshly brewed Japanese tea and delicate confectionary. Men & women are fashionably catered for in this little slice of Japan, with everything from tea to wall hangings on offer. The staff are exquisitely turned out with a gentle and kind approach, everything you would expect from a boutique of this nature. Tegan Moot is one of the staff there who will make you feel at home and help you choose the perfect garment while sipping your beautifully prepared tea. This is a must do as the experience is completely unique here in London, a real treat in which i cannot wait to revisit.

What a lovely surprise. This place is just fabulous. Great food, good service and reasonably priced for London. In initial appearance it looks quite basic, until the food arrives.

On my way to Pilmico Road couldn't miss the colombian "cafecito", besides with the delicious banana bread and the colombian music, this place is a must. Very close to Harrods and the V&A museum and others is a gem in Chelsea, London.
