Frankly, it is just a cafe right next to or perhaps inside the Science and Industry Museum, a place for you to take a rest. Not saying it's bad but don't keep your hope high either. Standard coffee, standard cakes, standard prices.

Very pleasant space to take a break and get a bit to eat. Toilets down a few flights of stairs. Good choice of food. Nice staff. Cheap prices.

A good stop to drink your coffee or have a snack before or after your visit to the museum. Friendly staff, decent coffee. Prices at reasonable levels. Maybe it's a bit more noisy because of the children in the area, but that's also fun!

A very good cafe and efficient staff. Food was good and drinks also good. The venue was good and everything clean and tidy. The main thing that let everything down was the staff, they are about as friendly as a poke in the eye. They barely acknowledge you as a customer, you are more of an inconvenience to their chats with each other. Good cafe, unfriendly staff.

I had brunch before my reservation time at the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry. The coffee sandwiches were all delicious and the staff were very friendly. The store is also comfortable~

This is a great cafe attached to the Science Museum. Made out in an industrial style with plenty of seating and large open windows. The alternative milk coffees are v good - mine is a decaf soya cappuccino. They also have a cake and drink deal and some meal deals.

It's not exactly my kind of place, but my children were offered tailored dishes to accommodate their needs, so I did not mind it. Warning, the latte was so strong that I could not sleep until 2am?! 😁 It tasted very robust and needed 3 sugars in it.... 😁 Nevertheless we are very thankful to the staff for looking after the children’s needs and doing their best to ensure both of them had a good meal and full tummies!

All I can say is I will never be visiting again. As the promoted place to eat on the MOSI website (which also links to their menu) there is no mention that hot food is ONLY served on the weekends! I had planned to eat dinner at the cafe and then head into the museum for a few hours or learning and play with my 4 year old niece and 1 year old son. When trying to place my order at the till the cashier then informed me that no hot food was available. When I informed her that this is not mentioned on their website she didn’t seem bothered and gave a sarcastic sorry. I was annoyed and looked to see what cold items were available as I had two hungry children. My son is lactose intolerant and their online menu states that they have food options for anyone with allergies. When I asked if there were any cold food options for children with milk allergies, surprise surprise the answer was no. I had to buy a £6 adult salad box which only had a few items suitable for my son to eat. (I’m lucky that I have tried to wean him with an extensive palette due to his intolerance) For a cafe that is promoted and situated at MOSI where most of the visitors are adults bringing CHILDREN, they have not chosen a menu that is fitting to their market when hot food is unavailable.

Diabolical. This place is testament to the age old phrase, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." A lesson in life for people to leave alone what they don't understand.

Good coffee with multiple non-dairy milks. Option to bring your own cup and have 20 p off your drink order. Vegan options available for the snacks - clearly labeled “VE.” Lovely atmosphere.

We had hot chocolate in winter day before Museum, we used one of syrups standing next to sugar And spoons and someone from staff came and said we can’t use them and being really strange about this. Hint : maybe if you don’t want people to use them dont put them next to free sugar or put little sticker saying you can’t use them. We would pay extra for them if we knew , we even offer to do it but girl in the end said no, well because of this situation we didn’t feel welcome and left museum.

The cafe is attached to the Museum of Science and Industry and is located just next to the entrance, adjacent to the museum store. It is spacious and nicely decorated in an industrial theme. There are cosy sofas, high chairs and regular chairs. There's a pseudo outdoor area; it catches most of the sun but is still sheltered from wind and rain. However, the selection of sandwiches and drinks is somewhat unexciting and rather expensive which is a shame because I could easily use this place to come to read or do some work. That said, the passion fruit cake that I had was pretty good!

Museum coffeeshop in a great building serving different food options. Not especially impressive, but good quality and a lot of options. They have a special children menu, and a selection of fruit and fresh food. Lots of sandwiches (soup at lunchtime) and pastries. Great variety of coffee and tea. Comfortable sofas, and tables with chairs. Entrance is either through the museum or directly from the street - street level so good for pushchairs. It is right next to the museum's shop.
