Ifeoma African Restaurant in Manchester

Extremely terrible customer service. Made an order and paid online. Food was supposed to get to me in 30 minutes. Called the restaurant after 30 minutes to enquire about the wherewithal of my food and I was told that what I ordered was unavailable and I should request for some else. I made my disappointment known that I had to call before they could tell me they didn’t have what I wanted and the representative said it’s not her fault because she’s just a staff. Told her I didn’t want anything else and I needed a refund and she rudely told me to claim my refund through the delivery company I ordered from. They do not even deserve the 1 star to be honest. I DO NOT EVER RECOMMEND.

Ifeoma food is super lovely.. their local delicacies like Pounded yam, Ogbono, Egusi .. the sizes are massive and protein delicious. Good job. 👍🏾

Why can't the order be delivered to me at the address provided.

The portion of meat was small and hard, three little pieces of hard meat

I would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered door for collection and 40 mins later it says ready for collection. I go 1 hour and 30 minutes after I placed the order so they have no excuses and I meet a lady who acts like I am disturbing her by requesting my order. I ask why they have asked me to collect if it is not ready she states she doesn’t know and that she was not aware that the just eat app was on for taking orders. Not a single apology for their tardiness.

An excellent culinary endeavour. Plus the delivery took his time to find me.

Went there with my friend. Food was brilliant and service was immaculate as well. For the first time I have such a well roasted beef in spicy sauce. Definitely recommend and will visit you guys again.

Very poor service. We waited for almost 2 hours to get very nonsense food… we were served sloppy catfish pepper soup with hard pounded yam instead of white soup and the lady kept arguing that that’s how white soup is made. She later realised she gave us the wrong order and apologised. My pounded yam fell from her while she was packing it up, she told me to pick it up like it was nothing… she said she was sorry as they can’t replace and I have to buy another wrap. DON’T EVER GO HERE!!!

Ordered rice with chicken, I was served with something that looks like fat, 1 piece. When I wanted to pay, I was told it was assorted meat though never asked for one. It was a really bad service

I ordered a meal and the restaurant confirmed it only for them to call me and say they don’t have what I ordered that if I wanted something else and I told them to cancel and refund my money now they said I have to contact Just-eat to refund my money and now just eat said if they cancel it I won’t get refunded. This is a very bad service and I want my refund !!! Note: I didn’t get any meal

Food never came, was waiting over 2 and hours for it they didn’t refund us back. If we wanted food had to go get it ourselves, we rang this restaurant 5 times kept telling us delivery driver was on the was never came.

Food wasn’t great at all, soup was very old, asun tasted like just tasteless boiled meat with sprinkles of spice in it. Food was just a mess and the delivery took forever even with the high delivery charge. Anyone ordering food from here is at their own risk.

These people called me to tell me they would not be delivering my food to me because I didint pay the delivery fee the incompetence is mad how can I make an order and not pay the delivery fee the sense is just not there I advised that the just eat app said if you spend over £30 the delivery is fee and that’s why they hadn’t charged me and they said I still had to pay £5 on top for the fee it’s mad

AVOID! I should have read their reviews first before trying to buy from them. I love Take Outs and decided to try these out. Worst customer service ever, would talk over you and they fail to deliver your order or take responsibility for their failings or even try to re-deliver or offer a refund. Order meant to be delivered at 18:00 not delivered by 20:04. And when I followed this up with the restaurant I received the worst customer service ever. To say I was gobsmacked is an understatement. They generate a phone number that's not yours and claim they tried to get in touch on the delivery drivers arrival and your phone was turned off. What happened to knocking on the door where delivery is to be made? Anyone who knows me, will say, for me to write this must mean that, it must have been a very bad experience. Well it was and words can not even begin to express the customer service received. If I could give zero star (0) I would.

The delivery man arrived and my food was on the floor of his car. How can you treat people's food like that? He told me that they only had 1 fanta but he didn't even bring any change. I'm never ordering from them again.

Ok so i stayed at holiday inn and put the address in my location, I was expecting my food and after about 15mins I went to the reception to ask. The delivery man calls me and tells me i will be paying extra 3 pounds as he missed the address, i said no cos i had put the address perfect .He said he called me but i didnt see any missed call. He said he will only deliver my food without an extra 3 pound charge if the receptionist confirms the address. He came back and I was right , his justification is he has been a driver for 20yrs and he knows the area so he decided not to use the Sat-nav. The food was cold and in all this did not apologise.

Food came very late and was completely overcooked. I couldn’t even bite on the meat. It was too hard. I called the restaurant and told them about this and they told me there is nothing they can do about it and that all they can do is add extra beef to my next order. I explained that it was my birthday and would like to eat now. She refused and asked me to leave my house and come to her even though we’re all on lockdown. Basically rubbish service. Order from Kingdom Cafe. Their food and service is much better there.

To be avoided at all costs. Worst experience ever had with anywhere in all my life...from the phone call shortly after placing the order informing me that there would be a slight change with one of items, which I thought "fair enough". To then being greeted by a rather rude delivery driver that, when I pointed out there was an item missing from my order, he simply asked me if do I expect him to go back to the restaurant and back just for that single item. With me paying way more than what the food is worth I would have expected the service to make up for the waste of money but instead it made the whole experience much worse.

Amazing Nkwobi with pepper!!!! The Nkwobi touched my soul. If you don't like pepper (and even if you do like pepper), you're probably safer asking that they don't put pepper in it. They've also got variants of Nigerian Alcohol, the Guinness reminded me of home. They've also got Orijin, if that's your thing. And there's something about Abacha on Sundays. Typical local Nigerian place.

Please do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money ordering from them. I should’ve read the reviews before ordering.

The taste of the okra special was absolutely horrendous! Like there was bitterleaf in it? It smells of smoke and was lukewarm. I sadly didn't eat anything from it as i couldn't stand the taste and smell. The vegetable soup hasn't been tried and I hope it's a bit manageable. I won't order from them again, first time ordering and it was very bad. Disappointed.

I'm sorry but I never leave bad reviews but this was the worst food I've ever had to order. The egusi was floating it what looked like water and the beef tasted like it was just boiled and thrown in the soup. The jallof rice was so dry and tasteless, the fish in the jallof wasn't fresh at all as it looked like a sponge.. I'm disgusted at the fact that people serve such food and get away with it without following food standards. YOU DO NOT REHEAT FOOD TO SERVE TO CUSTOMERS, PERIOD!!

I ordered via uberEats..late delivery ,extremely spicy food (masking the poor quality) and worst of all the jollof rice isn't even authentic! More like mushy curry fried rice. I'd take even Jamie's fake recipes over this (see pics !). Avoid, don't bother... Oh and half the menu items weren't actually available, even though the app said it was...😲. Smoked turkey instead of the assorted beef I expected. I had to call straight after ordering to find this out. When will we learn about better customer service. I won't order again.

Ordered from these people as we wanted to eat real Nigerian food. What a mistake we have made.. called firstly and a lady picked up the phone , she appeared as though she'd never spoken on the phone before and had no manners. Food was too spicy and the quality disgusting. I found hair in my food as well which was in the pounded yam. Disgraceful service and appalling food . Someone wrote here when will Nigerians/Africans learn customer service, it seems this restaurant is a prime example of the errors African restaurants keep on doing which will be their demise.

Very bad experience in this place, one time there were pieces of broken bottles/glass in jollof rice (health and safety issues) which was takeaway so we noticed when eating at home, we had to bin the food. The owner denied it came from his restaurant and said maybe its from our own house. Another time hubby bought oha soup and it tasted stale and bad, it came from the freezer and we were not even told it was frozen. The one that was not frozen was equally bad. we called to complain and owner cut the call. Very very rude!

Great service needs improvement buh lovely food

Gave me expired pounded yam. the pounded yam was PINK and slimy and when i complained they called me a bloody liar. Reporting this to Manchester council food safety, this is not acceptable at all
