Walt's in Merthyr Tydfil

The BBQ cheese melt burger is hands down the best burger I've ever had. Foods always been warm on delivery too would highly recommend!! And have done since discovering walts.

The burger itself (Cefn Bacon) was pretty decent. Had a good flavor profile, but definitely could improve. If you want a dine in experience I wouldn't recommend it. The atmosphere was dead. It was very quiet with no music and just felt awkard. Staff were great.

I was very impressed, every thing I had was very tasty, the service was very fast and their sauces are free and a good size, I also got a lot of food.

Massively underrated burger place in Merthyr! I remember the first time I tried it, I thought the quality was insane and I hadn’t heard anyone talk about it?? The burgers are smashed and super juicy. They really have nailed it with food quality and branding. Only thing that lets it down is the establishment itself. The restaurant is big but yet there’s never anyone in there? I feel they might be lacking in some marketing aspects because the restaurant has the potential. I wouldn’t say their food is expensive but maybe it’s a bit steep for some people, especially in the Valleys.

Finally an interesting take away in Merthyr! Ordered from here twice now, both times it’s been really quick for a collection and the foods been spot on.

For £20. 2 burgers and some chips. Very average. Under seasoned. Burger van style. Shame

When you order a burger from wish ! If you pay £8 for a burger you want a burger that costs £8 . Not a £1.40 McDonald's one . With poor quality meat . No salad and the burger is dry and squashed . That's what I received . Times are tough with money . And this was a treat I was very disappointed. See the photos . Real pictures of a £7.90 burger the " cefn coed " burger . Full meal cost £40 spoke to messenger they told me to contact the store for refund . Called the store and they refused . 🤣🤦🏻 Stealing your money . high prices and poor food

Ordered the BCC meal and it was delicious, much better than KFC and roughly the same price

Had it when the first owners owned it and was the most amazing food I’d tasted. Had it the other night and was disgusting burger was burnt. Chips were just the worst. Never been the same since it first opened. Not worth the price

I just received my food and all I can say is "LUSH!" Will definitely order again! One small thing to work on is the Foodhub site, you are unable to choose your drink with your meal but that's not the restaurant fault.

Top quality food, always arrives piping hot, great value for money too. Go to takeaway in merthyr!

probably the best burger I've had. Burger King prices but actually awesome burgers. Beef was tasty and cheese wasn't overly salty. Definitely worth a bash.

Travelled over an hour to find out they are closed and haven't updated the Google page

Hit and miss, foods nice but freezing cold, definitely need better packaging, got in 5mins after collecting order tonight and needed to heat everything which I hate doing when sauce and salad is already in there. Same thing when its delivered too.

Service is amazing the guy that served me was very polite and friendly, the food was amazing, they did forget too add a extra burger but offered to swap it for a new one or refund the price of the burger, but the food and service experience was that good I told them to keep the money for the burgers I would highly recommend and will definitely be going back In the near future, so if you're thinking about going, you shouldnt hesitate you should be driving to grab a Walt's!

We ordered from Walt's for the first time tonight and really enjoyed it. The delivery time was off by about 20 mins, but the food was well packaged so it was hot and tasty when it arrived. Yummy, we will definitely order again 😋

One of the best if not the best burger I've ever had.. and as its so close its one of my regular takeouts.. do yourself a favour and try Walts and see for yourself how great they are..

Have you ever eaten a burger? Not until you've had one from here you haven't. Forget everything else, these are out of this world tasty. 10/10
