I've caught food poisoning twice from here the first time was really bad I should have gone to the hospital but I couldn't coz I have and new born baby to look after and my health havent been the same agter the food poisoning the second time was yesterday and I cant even keep anything down even water and have really bad stomach pain

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at King Kebab and I can confidently say it was one of the best Turkish meals I’ve ever had! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warmest hospitality, making me feel like a valued guest rather than just a customer.

Had 2 kebabs from here now and both have been spot on. No dodgy stomach morning after and no dirty greasy mess. A proper kebab. Even the salad is fresh and nice.

Food was average don't understand why they have to store the meat them silver trays also when they cut the meat it's in such long cuts it's hard to need a knife really 🤣 but it was ok I guess.

The food was well prepared and looked appetizing. Tasted as good as it looked. I'll order again.

We never leave reviews unless they are truly deserved We've eaten quite a few different things from this place in the last 6 months and the food is absolutely stunning. We eat regularly from this place because it's honestly the best takeaway in Merthyr Tydfil and i say that honestly to give everyone a truthful review. Its amazing and we've tryed them all. The food is cooked to perfection the salads are so fresh and the place is so clean, absolutely spotless. If u like a really amazingly cooked food that not only will be the best you've ever tasted but will feed your soul too trust me you have to try there chicken donner kebab with some fresh salad and 1 of there lovely sauce its to die for x They do an amazing chicken shish kebab so yummy 😋 the blokes running the place are the nicest you will ever meet 😀 They even stayed open for over half hour extra just for us they really do go that extra mile for their customers they are the best in town and we always look forward to treating ourselfs when we can the prices are brilliant if you're looking for a takeaway tonight give them a go i promise you , you wont be sorry 👌

Must be said the chicken donnor and chips could of been nice but I've never seen a kebab drowning in ketch like that in all my life 15quid had to go in the bin in the end I just could not taste anything else so if you do order don't 4get to tell them the amount of sauce you want p....d off I was

cold had to rewarm in oven dry chips popcorn chicken chewy and cold not happy

came early, chips was actually crispy on no the normal kebab shop chops, garlic may tasted of garlic, loads of salad and they gave me loads of the pickled chillies, a mistake was getting the chilli though, it's definitely chilli, get it again when I'm back down here next!!!

Food came cold full of grease even the box was soaked in grease! Food was absolutely disgusting even my dog turned her nose up to it! Chewy fat all over chicken! Man came on the phone to me shouting and swearing whilst my 6 year old daughter listened! absolutely shocking customer service whoever that disrespectful idiot was that feels it’s acceptable to shout abuse at a disabled woman infront of her child needs sacking definitely should not be working in customer service! Even when he had me in tears he continued to shout abuse at me! Have been reading reviews and it seems that ALEX likes to scream at any customers making a complaint not only me! Fool needs to get a new job he’s no good at his current.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I was really impressed with king kebab. The food was delivered early, piping hot and was delicious! They forgot to bring the pizza we ordered the first time but the lady on the phone was honest and said she didn’t remember packing it - which is fine, mistakes happen. I then had a phone call I assume from the owner who apologised profusely and said he’d give us a larger pizza for free for the inconvenience, which was a lovely gesture. Really great food and service, can’t recommend enough.

Great kebab shop, I’m not from Merthyr but here working, have visited this kebab shop a few times now, the staff are very friendly and the chicken shish and chicken donner are delicious and the guys can cook the chicken perfectly too. Plenty of salad and sauce, if you’re local or in the area then I highly recommend this kebab house 👍🏻

Just ordered from food hub food turned up fast and warm but doner meat like eating plastic terrible doner meat and chicken fillet burger seen bigger chicken nuggets

Having visited Brecon for a weekend away I wasn't expecting to find a place as good as this. Food was great and reasonably priced with big portions. The garlic bread was amazing. The owner was very nice and friendly, offering us free drinks after we'd been chatting. Would highly recommend!

I wouldn’t order from here overpricing on food, I spoke to them about this on 1 occasion they sorted it said it was the system fault but I’ve ordered again and overpriced again good customer with these I ask can I speak to boss they give 2 excuses, and said I had to wait for a call back cause they to busy they not busy just trying to fob me off cause they know they overpricing on a few occasions they have missed stuff on my order and had a attitude on the phone bad customer service I wouldn’t order from here 😒

Placed an order for a mixed kebab, but when it arrived was literally all Doner meat and a massive pile of salad. I called the restaurant and spoke to Alex who advised me that he was the owner. I told Alex about my concerns, but unfortunately he got on the defensive and was extremely rude and hung up the phone. Went there today for the first time as it opened at 4pm. First impressions...really clean,extremely friendly staff,excellent service. Got a free cheese and garlic bread pizza,free chilli sauce. Tasted absolutely incredible,lovely mixed kebab, fresh salad,fantastic value for money. Will definitely be back, this is going to be our favourite kebab shop. Best in Merthyr, by far.

We came across this lovely kebab shop during our trip to Wales from London. The man who served us and the service in general was fantastic- the workers were so friendly and very hospitable! The food was perfectly served, generous portions and tasted absolutely delicious!! Definitely recommend if you find yourself in Whales!!
