Bonjour Bon Appetit in Merthyr Tydfil

This is a hidden gem in amongst merthyr tydfil. Offering a delicious choice of lunches - baguette, panni, jacket potatoes and salads. It's clean friendly atmosphere is a welcome to the hungry traveller. Generous portions too one the best places for a baguette or jacket potatoes in merthyr tydfil in my experience. The ladies who served us were polite and very welcoming.

I had a lovely vegan curry on jacket potato from here while I was on jury service. It was a very reasonable price and very tasty. The guy the runs it/owns it is a vegan too so you know they know what they are doing. The rest of the offerings looked really nice and it was quite busy, so the rest of the food must be quite good. I will definitely go back if I'm ever in merthyr for anything again.

My experience wasn’t the best. I’m confident they use cheap ingredients. It was quite overpriced in my opinion. I Asked for my baguette to be warmed through and I could promise you it was cooked with a hot breath. The staff were lovely however I wouldn’t return I’ll be honest, not for them prices anyway…

I tried the Sunday lunch delivery service for the first time yesterday and chose the Turkey option. The gentleman who delivered was very polite and courteous and delivered on time. I was absolutely delighted with the meal and rang the owner this morning with my feedback as I think in this climate it is important to be supportive and honest when the hospitality sector is finding it so hard and challenging. The lunch arrived in a square foil tray which I separated into two meals as the portion was very generous. I had ordered a portion of cauliflower cheese which is optional and the gravy was plentiful and both were served in separate plastic containers. The meal comprised of lots of succulent Turkey, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, roast and mashed potatoes, potch, carrots, peas beautiful green cabbage. This was under £15 including delivery. I can highly recommend and will definitely be ordering again! Well done Bon Appetite! You are to be congratulated on your effort and value for money!

Called in off chance and to my delight they do an amazing range of vegan options. I had the salad. It did not disappoint. It was jam packed with everything you could think of and the minted potatoes, curried rice and tofu were amazing. This is definitely my new lunch stop and everyone who worked there was kind, courteous, knowledgeable, and really friendly. I just love this little gem . Thank you for making lunch times amazing again.

Had 2 baguettes plus 2drinks and 2packets of crisps as part of the meal deal , freshly made , delicious and excellent value

I had a baguette, can of pop and crisps, last time I was there (I go very often), it was £680, same items today, £8,90, that's my last time going there. May as we go to Witherspoon and have a full meal and pay less

We passed by and the place was open, we stopped for the meal deal to carry on our trip. The food was reasonable and the prices similar. Would recommend for a quick pit stop.

food is goo i usually have a salad bowl, last few times i have ordered for delivery the order has been wrong, called on the 2nd occasion to advise but they werent really too bothered just said tell us next time to make sure we get it right...but surely they should get it right everytime as they write down the order as you're giving it..

Bought a hot (which wasn't) baguette but the turkey breast bone had been cut off with the meat. Ok, that's very unusual but not pleasant in the mouth at all. As tasty as a hot baguette usually is here it's still too expensive at £4.60 i think.

Both the salad bowls and baguettes are very very nice and the staff couldn’t be nicer. Understand can be a bit pricey but worth the money. Especially good for college students with the “College Meal Deal” which is brilliant value for money. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Great and Friendly staff, homemade chilli is the bomb as well as the balti chicken and melted cheese panini.

Great fresh turkey carvery and coffee.

Really great (just out of the oven) roast pork baggette with crackling, apple sauce and stuffing. . . . and brilliant real coffee. If you are feeling hungry and want a quick bite, this is the place to go.

Used to be good value, recently very small portions. Does seem to be who serves you mind . Mine today no way worth £4:80 . Won’t be rushing back . Plenty of other places to get a salad these days

Started using this place about a year ago when their exceptionally good baguettes were £3.70 with a stamped card which meant after 7 purchases your next was free. In less than 6 months they've jumped up to whopping £4.50. After the first rise to £3.90 the card issuing stopped as well. It's just too expensive now despite the deliciousness of their baguettes. For me now this place will be arare treat.
