This is a nice little coffee shop in Lisburn with emphasis on 'little.' There's only about 3 tables inside and there's not much privacy! There are usually tables outside though but they're subject to weather conditions. But this is set up really as a coffee shop and lots of people came in while we were there to buy coffee and nice things to take out. And the people who run it are lovely and even topped up our coffee whichvis always a winner for us, hence we've been back a few times. So if you're not fussed about space you'll get a lovely meal here!

Lovely breakfast and very good service is s nice cafe. BUT it's a bit small though it doesn't pretend to be anything other than a nice little coffee shop. Would recommend.

Diane and Jackie are the loveliest ladies and the service in Wallace and Donut is fantastic. Everyone is greeted warmly and they really go over and beyond to look after you. Jackie makes literally everything served in the cafe and her food is delicious. The best breakfast or lunch you will get in Lisburn! Scones and tray bakes are the nicest I have ever tasted! Such a lovely, homely cafe. I am a regular and honestly the coffee and food here is far and above anywhere else I have tried. I recommend to all my friends and no one is ever disappointed.

St Valentine’s treat (on Saturday). Everything was excellent - hot savouries superb, sandwiches delicious, scone with jam and cream beautiful, cream cakes and choc dipped strawberries simply yummy. And all washed down with Prosecco too! We can really recommend this generous treat.

Called today for brunch, we were served immediately by Diane. Food was amazing and staff were very warm and inviting. The atmosphere in this little restaurant was cosy and friendly, everyone who came in were greeted like friends. It was busy when we arrived but there was no sense of urgency for us to leave. I had French toast with bacon and maple syrup and my husband had the pancake stack which didn’t stay on our plates for too long. We would definitely recommend a visit to this hidden gem. We were so impressed that we even left with two freshly made sofa farls for our son. Thanks for a great experience Diane and Jackie 👍🏼

I thought that this restaurant opened at 08:00 and had arrived around 08:20 am. It was closed, but I could see that there was a member of staff inside; she "spotted me" and advised that they didn't open until 09:00; however, she invited me in - as the coffee machine was ready. My order, for a cooked breakfast, was taken - and I had my Cappuccino about five minutes later (with its chocolate heart design on top). The hot water that I had requested was provided in a china teapot (and not in a lidless aluminium jug, that is often provided, but which cools quickly!). My cooked breakfast was served about ten minutes later. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked and the high-quality bacon, grilled "just as like it" - a little crispy. I was asked - by both proprietors - if everything was ok - on two occasions. I did ask for a refill of hot water and this was provided immediately. A quiet, homely atmosphere; morning traffic and busy pedestrians, seen outside the restaurant's large front window, provided early morning "entertainment". The restaurant is sited at a busy junction/roundabout! Street parking was available outside the restaurant - but I was unaware of this, and had parked on an adjacent street that had plenty of spaces (as it is at the edge of the city). The restaurant is on ground level - and therefore "wheelchair friendly". The decor was fresh and appropriate for this small restaurant. Comfortable, padded seating, with cushions, is provided. It is a little "cramped" but warm hospitality overcomes any small problem with this! In fifty years and more travelling and eating out - I have never experienced such kindness and flexibility - being served around half an hour - before opening time!! The proprietors, Jackie and Diana deserve to be successful. Highly recommended.

We popped in here recently for lunch before visiting Wallace park & we were all delighted with our meal. Everything was made fresh, including the children’s chicken goujons meal & the sausage roll was one of the tastiest I have ever had. A great find & will definitely be back!

We sat outside in the sun as we had our 2 dogs with us. A variety of food was chosen from scones to toasted sandwiches and chips. And a lovely traybake. Staff were friendly and had time to chat with us. Will call again.

I had the pleasure of dining at Origin 101 for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration. The ambience was absolutely charming, the food superb, the waitstaff very professional and Kelsey, the proprietor very welcome and accommodating. If only I lived in Moira, I would return often. As it was, I asked her to consider opening a second location in Connecticut. One can only hope.

We loved the decor and atmosphere of this restaurant as soon as we walked in. Tables were widely spaced and layouts were arranged differently to meet the needs of groups or couples. It was lovely being able to watch the chef and his staff at work. Staff in the restaurant were lovely and chatty making customers feel at home. We opted for the tasting menu but portions were more akin to a la carte size! Be warned the ‘snacks’ alone equate to a main course especially if you eat all the lovely bread! Our favourite course was the monkfish, closely followed by the raviolo and dessert. Venison was well cooked but a bit full of gristle as it was haunch. Everything was beautifully presented. As I was driving I enjoyed a great mock tail with 0% gin and Armagh Apple. Definitely will return to try the a la carte menu.
