Definitely my Favourite Chinese food in the Area, fresh ingredients and good quality food 👍🏾

accepted order then called to say main ingredient was not a available. We said cancel order. they still charged for it and marked the order as completed. now we have to raise a dispute with Just Eat and from experiance I doubt if our £60 meal will be refunded even though its clear we placed an order from another supplier 10 mins later.

Best Chinese takeaway on this app!

First came across the restaurant when looking for a different Chinese takeaway and was blown away by the quality of the food. Then decided to go to the restaurant for the first time and can confidently say I've found my new favourite Takeaway and Restaurant. The food was amazing to eat and the staff were so nice and helpful. The price too is fair for a takeaway/restaurant. I would recommend this to everyone

Ordered via 'Just Eat' and was pleased to see the prices were a bit cheaper than or regular 'go to' Chinese. I ordered Prawn wonton coup, special chow mein, and spring rolls for a quick, tasty dinner. Estimated arrival time from ordering was 45-60 minutes. Spot on time, the doorbell rang and there was my food, dropped off with a smile. Piping hot, it didn't need to be microwaved, and had such a good taste across all dishes. The chow mein was full of lovely char-siu pork, prawns and the noodles had a lovely sweet/savoury taste. Also, it wasn't full of onions. Prawn Wonton soup was perfect - stuffed full of prawn paste and the broth was tasty but not salty. Definitely going to be ordering more from here...absolutely give this great place a try.

In short…you gotta eat here. We tried this first as a takeaway and were SO impressed with the quality of food we received, we were instantly going to order again but were even more excited to find they also were a restaurant. The in house food is stunning. I am one who is more than happy to have gaps between courses…I would rather wait longer for food knowing it’s been freshly cooked than it comes out at the snap of a finger. This was the case here and I would gladly wait an hour for food here if I had to. The rice was fresh, tasty, my tofu was crisp but fluffy, sauce SO flavourful…my partner had been rib which melted in the mouth and fell off the bone. Staff are wonderful. No faults. So friendly very attentive ☺️ As one with ASD, the atmosphere here is perfect. The restaurant is a great size, music a perfect volume and not too many tables means I did not get any type of sensory overload. I do not expect places to suit only me but it’s lovely when I walk in somewhere and am totally at ease. We will be back…very very soon!!

Quality of food was great and it was still hot. Seafood noodles was done to perfection. Will order from here again due to quality being so high.

The best tasting Chinese in Romford. Don't go anywhere else. The best I've tasted. They definitely accommodate your requests. We asked to pick up after 10pm as we were coming late from an outing and they let us. Their food is fresh and authentic.

Very nice meal and service, there was five of us and we had alot of drink and food and the bill was only 60£ per head very good value, we really enjoyed the Korean lamb will be back soon.

I've ordered from this Chinese for a very long time. But the past 2 times I've ordered the food has been below par. Arrived in a decent 30-40 minutes but was stone cold. And the sweet and sour chicken has had a foul taste. Looking else where next time

First time ordering from him and definitely won’t be ordering from here again! Had to wait an hour for our food to be delivered for part of it to be missing. Speak to the manager, Alan who in my 6 years of hospitality has never worked with or heard someone speak so poorly their customers - he literally shouted us at down the phone and spoke over us, we literally couldn’t get a word in! When the missing food eventually arrived it was cold and the rest of our food of course was cold. Don’t go here

Over 2 hours to be delivered. Not good enough!

No cocktails on a Saturday night but advertised that they do them.Meal was OK but wouldn't come back a bit disappointed to be honest.

Waited nearly 2 hours after ordering. Phoned the restaurant to ask where the order was and they said 10 minutes. 20 minutes later still hasn’t arrived

Our ordered took 2hrs20 mins to be delivered. When I phoned to check if it was on the way, they said the driver was leaving in 5 mins. 40 mins later I phoned back and they said he had left 5 mins ago. No resolution was found and the food was average as well

Love this local spot! Waiters are attentive, prices are good and food is lovely. Extra bonus for such good cocktails!!! Finally a place that does decent margaritas. Been twice and will definitely come again.

Had been here for a few times and never disappointed! Food were all on spots (especially the San Choi bao, braised pork belly, prawn toast and the mayonnaise prawn), service was great and the price is amazingly friendly to your wallet!

I am really torn about this. The food is excellent, however, the night I came in it was only my party of two and a large party of 20 in the restaurant. Our starters were delivered quickly and were amazing, however, once cleared off, it was 45 minutes before I got up to go to the bar to pay as I wasn't prepared to wait any longer. I was reassured that the food was "just coming" but actually didn't arrive for another 5 minutes. However, I am not writing this off - the quality of the food is excellent and the presentation is superb; I think it was possible that they were thrown out by having a big party in. That being said; the restaurant was otherwise empty, so how would they manage if it was a full house?

Everything is bland. It all just tastes of nothing. Not very authentic and pretty expensive. Don't believe this can be the highest rated in the area!

first time ordering after seeing great reviews. placed my order at 9 (only wanted 3 dishes) got an alert saying it was on the way at 9:20 and nothing has turned up! place closed at 10 so can't even call anyone. incredibly disappointed (and hungry and down £25!) won't risk ordering from here again

Best food as always. Clearly, this restaurant has set its bar very high. I've been going and ordering from here from its Mingh Palace days and currently Wah Ping. I would say that the new owner has taken the food quality a few notches higher from the previous one. Thank you.

We have eaten here for a long time and never been disappointed, the food quality is amazing… today it felt and looked like our food wasn’t served with much care at all we are used to our food being in fresh containers, today a mixed hors doeuvres was delivered in what only can be described as a cardboard fish and chip box , which meant our starter was chucked into one box 😳 not what we are used to from here at all , our quarter of duck was delivered in what looked like a garlic bread wrapper , again used to this being shredded and presented on a bed of lettuce… so so disappointed and will not be using this restaurant again … what a shame .

Every time I’ve ordered the order not actually confirmed till after 5:30. Options for delivery time started at 6:15 and for the third time arrived late. So will probably not order again from here.

Quite expensive but tasty. Very small portion of Satay sauce at £1.70 could be bigger and shouldve included prawn crackers

This was an unexpected surprise. The food was delicious. They are now my new favourite Chinese Restaurant. I truly hope they maintain this standard, as others have started out well and then gone downhill. I will definitely be ordering again from here. A big thumbs up.

Food great as usual however I placed order just before 5:00pm and it wasn’t confirmed till just gone 5:30. Given earliest delivery time of 6:15 which then changed to 6:25 after I placed the order. But still arrived late. Not had this delivery confirmation thing happen with previous restaurants.

love the food and service but last time i went on a friday night the place was so cold that i seriously thought about putting my coat on - this ruined the evening - the heat from the kitchen will not heat the restaurant. in future i will have to order a take away and eat in the comfort of my warm house. ph

Really disappointed, have ordered so many times before and it has arrived hot and fresh. Tonight was Luke warm and my “crispy” veg rolls were soggy. Not a good one tonight ☹️

The salt & pepper chicken is incredible. Everything else was delicious too. Will definitely order from here again. Just wish they had salt & pepper chips on the menu and sweet & sour chicken balls.

Very very nice,been looking a long time for a decent Chinese, good fresh food ,no grease ,fat and not over salted or flase flavour ,thank you .3 rd order waited 3 and half hours for a takeaway, ordered at 6 ,food turned up at 9.40,kids way past it as were adults, yes i phoned so many times,to be told its on its way ,in the end i got to speck to owner ,to be told a big booking of 50 was making it late ,so i said u should been honest ,which i was told my orderwas only 55 pounds and i can have 5% off next time ,told him keep it and cancel order ,to be told its out side ,sorry to say it was Rubbish, cold ,not cooked well ,watery, no effort or care given to the food ,so sad i start to look for a decent Chinese again ,kept away no care for you ,just greedy lying people, such a shame

This Resturant is a diamond in the rough. I only say rough as it is just outside of the town centre and it’s never busy with diners. You need to step inside, sit down and tastecard the delicacies they offer. From the starters through the selection of main courses you will not be disappointed. The older review on this page are not up to date as this place definitely deserves a visit I tell you. It is amazing and different to any Chinese you will ever taste again

Visited on a Saturday evening close to opening time and it was nice and quiet. The staff were friendly and attentive - couldn’t fault the service! The food was delicious too. As a group of 4, we ordered ½ aromatic duck and pancakes, tempura king prawns, Thai Thai prawn lettuce wraps, peppercorn chicken, siu yok (you can ask for this if you don’t see it on the menu), Kung po style chicken, stir fried broccoli, deep lotus roots, Singapore fried noodles and 2 bowls of steamed rice (one bowl is more than enough for two people!). Will definitely be coming back!

Every time I am in collier row i order this. Best chinese i have had in a long time. The beef melts in your mouth. Myself and my partner have tried a lot of dishes on the menu and have not been disappointed so far! It’s a shame you don’t deliver to Wanstead!! Excited to pop into the restaurant one day😋

I can't recommend this restaurant enough. The food is really tasty and the menu stands out from the crowd as there are some interesting dishes to choose from. The lamb and beef dishes I ordered were cooked to perfection and the meat was super tender. Staff were also friendly and welcoming. Wish I'd found this place sooner!

Food is quality, great flavours, cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Whenever me and my partner dine here we have been impressed with every dish we have tasted. Also, the people are so friendly and attentive. Looking forward to introducing some friends to this restaurant on 1 Feb to celebrate Chinese New Year. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Best chinese I've tasted. We ordered special fried rice and special noodles and pork balls. Yes it was £48 pounds for 4 of each and two portions of pork balls but it was worth it! Not greasy, not dry, just right! I feel like eating it again for breakfast 🤣

Place is clean. Nice atmosphere and lovely staff. We have been here 3 times and every time the food is delicious and the experience is great. I would definitely recommend dining here.

Poor customer service is an understatement!! Sent us the wrong dish and when my partner went back to complain the man came out wanting to fight!! My god the language coming from him was disgusting! He actually used the 'C' word ! Totally not on. Whatever happened to keeping your customers happy?...never would I give that man custom again!

Amazing food. Everyone needs to try this restaurant which would be fully booked if in a more central spot. Spotlessly clean, attentive staff & knocks spots off other Chinese restaurants with its wonderful fusion of flavours in every dish. A little more expensive than your average Chinese but well worth it.

Order from them through deliveroo and it has to be the best Asian around the area! Amazing food, and very interesting menu, no problem with the delivery. The sweetest touch was for them to leave a good luck message in Italian which is my first language. Keep doing as well as you are!

The food here is amazing, one of the best Chinese restaurant I have been to. The chef also made salt and pepper tofu starter at my request. I will certainly be coming back again, therefore I cannot recommend it more.

A bit of a surprise how good this was. The restaurant is very clean and tidy, staff are friendly and helpful too. The food was all really good, went with moderate sized group. There was a little bit of a wait for the food but it was quite a busy evening... when everything arrived it was all very good. It seems to be pretty new or refurbished recently, I think this place is going become quite popular with the locals!

This newly refurbished restaurant offers a delicious range of dishes served by an attentive staff which can’t do enough for you. It deserves to be busier than it is. The good thing is you probably won’t have to book.
