This has been a mixed experience, group of 7 arrived Sunday evening for dinner was greeted and seated well. After ordering our food one of the waitresses walked to our table with our food dropped it on the table and walked away mumbling under her breath. This repeated twice more. At this point her behaviour was not something that could be ignored as this is not the first time eating at a Wagamama as well as working for the group years ago. This made us feel unwelcome as we watched her treat others differently. I asked to see a manager whom whole heartedly saved this dinner. I’m sorry I never got your name she wore glasses with short blonde hair. She offered us a desert on the house. Please take time when hiring. There’s a lot of people who need work but some have no care. Food was great and quick as usual.

I visited yesterday evening and was served my Jack Cowman, he was very attentive and friendly. My food was delicious and the service was even better. I can always rely on Jack and the waiters at Wagamama’s to ensure I have an amazing meal. Thank you so much Jack and team!

Queued to get in around lunchtime as it was busy but didn’t wait too long. Once we were seated, the drinks and food arrived pretty quickly. The menu has a plethora of vegan and vegetarian options which I always a bonus. The food was well-seasoned. The free green tea is warming. The seating arrangement consists of long benches with dividers between each separate party of diners. The Korean chicken hotpot was a favourite among the table. The soup was warming and cosy. The portion sizes are perfect for 1 person, they’re not stingy and are pretty filling. The chilli squid was really good and the sauce it came with matched well. The edamame was really salty, we had to scraped a little of the excess off. The yuzu cheesecake was good to share however it tasted mostly of passion fruit and not sure if I’d order again as wasn’t that refreshing. The waitstaff didn’t look so happy to be there. We were also charged £5 for water which is cheeky considering we asked for tap water and they brought out a bottle of water without a lid so we couldn’t even take it with us.

We love wagas lakeside! Especially during the week. The food comes out fast and hot! And their servers are on point too! Today Alex was a pleasure! Truly exceptional customer service from start to finish!

The food is very good, but the service is lacking. The waiters don’t smile and seem to serve food just for the sake of it. There’s no warm welcome, and they lack patience when taking orders

The food came out piping hot which is how I like it, that way you know it hasn't been sitting there. Very tasty food. Highly recommend

Wonderful experience. The staff who served me was amazing. I'll like to dedicate my appreciation to the waitress who is named Dagma, for being super friendly, supportive and ultimately nice. I'll be revisiting wagamama because of the brilliant service

We love coming here for date night. Our server was Regina who gave a very quick and friendly service, she also spotted I had left my handbag at our table when leaving and quickly stopped us before we had fully left the premises! The front of house manager was also very welcoming and friendly too and took the time to explain how to use their new app. Would definitely recommend all our family and friends come here to enjoy the atmosphere and food!

We came to sit on the terrace and asked for two cocktails for myself and my husband and bring it to us, we tried to even little sip and they tasked so good but then waitress came and said than their policy doesn’t serve only alcohol drinks that we need to order food and I tried to explain why that we just eat in the restaurant and we ain’t hungry we want only drinks because it’s summer ands it’s hot and only solution was to leave drinks as we don’t want to order food. I don’t blame the girl but management because she looks quite new and no one explained policy and from our side we got extremely awful experience that they bring for us cocktails and only after we had couple sips they came with restaurant policy. I will never come back and will share my experience with my local friends.

It used to be my favourite local restaurant until today where I spent a lot of time and money. Me and my wife had a diner before going out and went our favourite Lakeside Wagamama to have couple of drinks. Waitresses was nice and friendly, took our order and left. Then we had another 2 members of staff came over asking if we are going to order food? We said we not hungry so girls left. First waitress brought our drinks and we started drinking them when she came back saying her manager/supervisor said we must order food or we have to leave… We found this approach unacceptable and left. Here is my 5 star moved to 1star and you lost your best costumers. Hope you will learn the lesson and teach you managing staff on how customers must be treated.

We decided to have an early lunch. The restaurant was quiet, 11am. Orders were taken by Violeta. I asked for brown rice instead of white, as I normally do. Never been a problem before. Rudely, Violeta said "No! We can't do that" I asked why, but she wouldn't give me a reason. I asked for extra sauce, again she said "No!" Never had a problem before. Her attitude was disgraceful. We didn't stay for dessert. Will not be going there again!

We eat quite often in this restaurant and most of our visits were AAA+.The duck was nice,chicken and beef also.I like the fact they and some new dishes every few months.When the weather is nice, we prefer to eat outside with the lake view .Bon appetit

I was a regular customer, I used to come to this Wagamama branch a lot but now I will be taking my money elsewhere. My food got taken away aggressively by the manager and also my child’s food when she was just about to eat it because they got my order wrong. I also nearly got overcharged too and expected me to be happy with them taking £1 off the overcharge. It was a male manager in charge that made me very embarrassed and was rude that other customers looked at him in shock.

Lovely place to eat, enjoyed sitting outside while we ate. Service was quick and very friendly, will definitely go back.

Really nice service. I got the yuzu + lychee tonic drink, which was really refreshing and had a nice sweetness. I also ordered a yaki udon for my main, which I enjoyed as it wasn't too heavy but was filling enough. For dessert, I got the banana katsu. I liked the exterior of the banana, as it was fried in a delicious crispy coating, but I wasn't a fan of the inside of it, due to my personal preference. The ice cream, however, with the caramel sauce, was amazing, and I could have had seconds! Overall, I enjoyed my time here, and the warmth and service from Jessica, Tanise and Ethan were top notch! I recommend.

Friendly helpful staff who got use seated quickly. They had a location which they use for parents with prams which was great as it gave us plenty of space to eat and feed out little one and position the pram. Food came quick and tasted great.

The service was fast and friendly! Leki the waitress was great help and friendly! All the food was delicious, tried a new starter the vegan K-dogs and they were 10/10. Good experience!

Mainly the food is over priced, doesnt taste as nice as better Japanese restaurants and price is still high. Over rated in my opinion. Alot better options about.

The vegan chicken kare lomen was good. The sauce was creamy and fit well with the udon noodle. However, the duck donburi was a disappointment. The dish took a while to come and the shredded duck arrived pretty much minced.

Food was amazing. However the staff at about 11:30 this morning were disgraceful. Two young girls who couldn’t leave each other sides at any point. They hadn’t been open long so weren’t busy. About 5 couples. However we waited 10 minutes for our drink’s that were ready but they were busy chatting over our drinks. To then watch our food be ready and for them to ignore it to continue their chat. The chef had to shout to get their attention! Then had to request to pay as we hadn’t been given a table number for one of the girls to say no problem and walk over and chat to a different colleague. If they were absolutely manic I would understand but 5 couples is hardly strenuous for them.

My wife and I always get our mains separately? Never together. But the food is good.

Great space, service was "ok", food was great. Shame they didn't have the Veganaury mushroom dishes on the 4th day of the month! But their dishes are amazing and cover a multitude of failings. We'll always be back but please don't take us for granted.

Great restaurant. Enjoyed the food but Alex carried the entire restaurant on his back. His extreme enthusiasm enthralled me and his GK was on another level. Nice👍.

Service was quick, and we were promptly seated. However, the food was not up to par. Having had Wagamamas previously, I know the food used to be really nice. However, it seems that they have started to cut costs and reduce the quality of their food ingredients and portion sizes. Will not be going back there sadly, which is a shame.

Wagamama have redeemed themselves this evening. Everything was so delicious and the service was brilliant. I HIGHLY recommend the beef brisket hot pot and get lots of little sides with it, like the rotti and kimchi. Our waitress Jasmin was really polite and friendly too. The service has been quick and efficient tonight.

Always great and quick food. They have updated the menu as well, which was a pleasant surprise. Sorry forget to take a picture of it.

I had duck gyoza, beef brisket ramen, and juice sorbet. Everything was very tasty. Plenty of room around. Place was not too crowded when I went. Waitresses and waiters were very kind. Price was acceptable for the food quality and service.

Rather disappointed with seating as there were mainly bench type seating and no closed in booths like Bluewater. Not many diners as it's tucked away.

Ordered chicken and prawn pad thai but they messed up my order. Overall, it was an ok experience

Staff is very nice but the food may not be for me. Unfortunately, it was not halal as well, so I had to go with vegetarian options.

Never disappointed by service and taste

We had a very very pleasant stay. Firstly the food was amazing, the ingredients tasted fresh and crispy, the meat was tender and the food came quite quickly too. There are plenty of seats, some outside as well with the view to the lake. The staff is helpful and kind. Toilets were clean. Plenty of parking available at the parking lot at lakeside. Definitely will be returning.

Extremely quick service. Chilli squid for starters are amazing, make sure to eat them soon as they are not as nice when they are cold. They salmon teriyaki was nice and flavourful but the noodles were not as well seasoned and the vegetables were a little large. Overall it was good food but the chilli squid stood out.

We've been there a few times now. Always a pleasant experience. Food is great and service is professional. The only thing that I'd mark it down for is that it is very loud in there.

Sitting by the lake undercover on a warm autumn evening is perfection.

Nice place for a lunch/dinner. Delicious Ramen, tasty and healthy drink options, friendly staff. While staying in UK visited this place twice. Beef Ramen was my favourite. Tried all the starters, and tasted some of healthy choice juices and refreshing drinks.

Ordered the fire cracker, we can handle chilli food but this was unbearable, safe to say firecracker dishes are not for us. Calamari was nice. Service was atrocious, very slow miserable staff.

10/10, great food and service with very short wait time.

Went here on a date. Waiter was really nice with great customer service. Especially when we queried some of the food to find out if it was any good. They gave us some recommendations. Only complaint I had was when we finished our meal. Non of the waiters came to collect our dishes. It wasn't until we asked for the bill they collected them. Other than that, venue was lovely we sat outside and it was warm and scenic as where the Restaurant as it backs onto the lakeside. Food was nice and hot including the starters. Would I come again yes. What I also liked is that they give you the option to choose to eat with chop sticks or knives and forks too. Highly recommend going just for the experience of Japanese cuisine.

Just had yet another delicious lunch at Wagamama Lakeside. For a change I tried the Spicy Miso Mackerel which was great. Still undecided if Duck Donburi is still my favourite. Service was great and it is in a great location.

Usually busy but luckily we got space this time without a wait. Never realised green tea is free here. Please do not miss it along with great tasting food.

Good customer service here, staff were helpful. Lovely scenery if sitting outside facing the lake. You can customise your food, if you like. The food came out quite quickly but not at the same time. For example, we got our starter aftet we were well into our main meal but it was okay for us.

Thank you Indi who seemed to be the only member of staff looking at customers rather than over their heads once they received their food. It took 15minutes to try and get a staff members attention without shouting "excuse me" across other tables to the bar / kitchen area. I have 3 simple points to share: - My go to meal will always be a duck donbouri! Filling and full of everything good for you! Lakeside make it extremely well. - The kids also enjoyed their meals. - The Korean bbq beef bao buns are delicious if you don't mind a little kick 😋
