I really do not understand all the negative reviews. I love their food which is always of the highest quality with excellent presentation. I always order via deliveroo and usually get my order within 20-30 mins with no spillage, lateness or any other problem.

This place gives wagamama a bad name . Substandard food , no presentation whatsoever. Wrong orders sent . Uneatable food . Just avoid

This dark kitchen is in fact in Camberwell not Peckham. The drivers and their scooters create increased level of unpleasant traffic and noise from their vehicle loitering around this dark kitchen. They also leave trash from half eaten food from Wagamama in the neighbourhood. Wagamama somehow decided get their deliveries in the middle of the night (I.e. 2am), the delivery lorries create insane amount of noise and this obviously disturbs local residents from their sleep/ rest. It’s situated on Denmark Road which is a residential area with many families. Let’s face it it’s not a glamorous part of town, and this Wagamama dark kitchen is making the neighbourhood less pleasant to local residents due to the trash and noise it creates, not more.

Ordered a katsu curry via Deliveroo and I found a worm in my side salad. Food hygiene standards are not followed and this could be very dangerous.

I've ordered from this branch a few times and on several occasions the food was not made with the special requests as agreed, and often the food is lacking taste.

this branch of wagamama is absolutely terrible in terms of food quality, different cheaper ingredients, really oily and zero flavour. go to a different branch. -- I love Wagamama.

It was very good, the dishes are well prepared, fresh ingredients, I recommend the ramem soups, especially the tantan steak. Congratulations to the ramen cook, she has improved a lot since last year.

Absolutely vile. Second time I’ve ordered katsu curry from them and it shows up without being cooked or prepared properly. It was cold and on top of that the accompanying salad tasted either unwashed or on its way out date wise. Deliveroo refused my refund request so I’ve just paid about £20 for a meal that’s not worth 20p.

Ordered a chicken firecracker curry noting my allergies - they did not honour it. The meal arrived w/ sesame seeds/shichimi sprinkled all over it, despite ordering the same meal days before, in which they omitted these same allergens. Fatal error, lack of consistency, bad attitude from staff when I called to highlight this mistake. The staff member just said “we don’t accommodate allergens for deliveries.” No apology, just robotic responses to an error that could have put me in hospital. Go to Wasabi instead, where they have a clear policy on allergies and actually stick to it.

Horrible food . Chicken taste as it’s row old chicken . 2-3 tiny piece of shrimps no tasty . Miso soup no taste at all like water . Horrible food ever . I have stomach pain now Maybe because of old chicken . It’s Wagamama in Peckham poor area too maybe that’s why food was horrible.

ordered chilli chicken ramen and it was far from perfect. Since when the take away portions are smaller than dine in? considering that waga peckam is only 0.7miles from my house and it was fast delivered, I was expecting the food to come hotter. as i ordered a soup I was also expecting a fair amount of chicken stock and the noodles were barely covered. also it all tasted very funny. the noodles clearly soaked the stock or smth and it all became one big snot. i worked for waga in the past and i am pretty confident in what it should look and taste like. the food was literally not wort even half the price and i am fed up of paying but not being properly served. seems like i should have checked online reviews beforehand as based on this the other reviews you guys clearly not doing great there

Ordered a takeout via Uber Eats tonight. I opted for my favourite Wagamama dish, Kare Burosu (Tofu) Raman. However, when it arrived it was so hot with chilli it was completely inedible. My partners go to meal (Chicken & Prawn Yaki Soba) was an over cooked tasteless mush (but at least sort of edible). I immediately rang Peckham Wagamama, spoke to a member of staff & then the manager but they refused to do anything, saying I had to call Ubereats. As the meal had been delivered, it is not possible to speak to anyone at Ubereats. It was not even possible to write a complaint on the app. All that was available was to click the choice ‘bad quality/poor taste’ and receive an automated message saying we may receive an email in response! Shocking, £30 for 2 inedible meals from my favourite chain restaurant and no resolution. Avoid this Peckham branch, they are not interested in the food they cook or the customers they serve it too.

Food was cold when delivered and no one picked up phone when I called so I wasted my time and money the foxys did not want it 🙄when I put it out for them lol

Stay Away!!! Driver left with my food instead of calling me back. Called restaurant they didn't answer. Poor Service.

Awful customer service. Have been ordering for 4 years from wagamama on deliveroo but the lady on the phone here was awful and the customer service in general was the worst. Food was also awful, not the same as proper wagamama. Don’t order from here!

Don't order here! We ordered food here to eat as a family, we were checking everything and to our surprise they forgot to send us the children's menu for my son. They did not warn us and they charged us the same money. I called them and a girl answered me, she told me if I wanted the food or the refund, I told her the food and she told me that she was going to send it. After almost an hour waiting I decided to call again and a boy answered me and told me that my food was not sent and they had given me the refund .. so if I don't call I don't know that the food has not been sent, he left my son without food. The refund has not yet arrived, I will wait 3 days if they do not know that I will call again. And the boy didn't even apologize for their mistake. I will not order here again. 👎

Don't bother ordering via uber eats. Ridiculously late and because it wasn't packaged well we had to refuse delivery. Curry dripping everywhere whilst the driver was holding it. Don't order from them.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY! Waited 2 and a half hours for Nothing!! Then the order said 'Delivered' but had NOT even left the Restaurant. According To Reviews, They Have Done This Many Times To Their Customers! Very Disrespectful. Would Never Order From Here Again!!!

No delivery after ordering at 7 and waiting until 9.30. Don't waste your time ordering from here!

I ordered the Yaki Udon around 15:00 because Uber Eats were doing the 20% and shared delivery promo. It arrived in a satisfactory condition, no leakage, spillages. The only minors was it didn't have any egg and no chopsticks or sauces were included. As this is just a kitchen and not the actual restaurant I don't understand why they have cut back on things. Reading the other reviews my advice would be to avoid ordering around busy times, and probably to order directly from a Wagamama restaurant (click and collect) to ensure you receive all the utensils and condiments you need.

Ordered through just eats - never arrived. Marked as delivered after three hour wait.. Called the restaurant - no answer on the phone. Order from elsewhere and save yourself the trouble.

please don’t order from this branch. here’s how my order arrived, literally zero broth, burnt my fingers and spilled all onto the carpet until i managed to get it to a sink. got through JustEat, i have no idea how to get at least part of my money back which is terribly frustrating as this was a “treat dinner” on a student budget

Ordered ramen and a katsu both were spilled on arrival. No one to contact to rectify their mistake, so we have no dinner now

Really hard for UBER pick up riders to find! The app needs more than just postcode - be more specific. The quicker the rider gets the food to your customers the happier your customers will be
