Wagamama in Reigate and Banstead

Wagas food is standard, but when we walk in with children and there’s one booth available but we get refused to sit there because it’s reserved for staff eating area that is appalling. They’re happy for 2 toddlers to sit on the high stools, but the kids (who represent most of the floor staff) get a priority booth?? Awful.

The food was perfectly cooked and and delivered fast. The front of house staff were very welcoming and helpful especially Imi, Emma and Jess. Overall very good service! :)

I came in as a student today to claim the free yaki soba deal. Even though it was free, the food was still amazing as usual and not to mention how lovely the front of house staff were! Imi, Jess and Emma took great care of me and my friends, will be visiting again! :)

We usually like wagamam's in Reigate but our recent experience was below its usual. It was soooo cold. We asked for the air con to be turned off and they did, for about half an hour. Other customers were putting jumpers or coats on it was so cold. It made the food go cold rather quickly. Food was good as usual, but after our mains, my friends plate was taken whilst i was still eating (which i hate!), it was about another 30 mins with my empty plate on the table before we saw anyone for desert menu, and that was because she happened to walk past from out the back. The staff were so far away and chatting that we couldn't get anyone's attention. Eventually ordered desert which was also nice. I had the banana in panko crumbs which was £7 and I got around half a banana and the smallest single scoop of ice cream I have ever seen. It was lovely but massively overpriced for the amount I got! Not up to it's usually good standard of service or experience sadly, but food was as good as usual.

Great food, tastes amazing and fresh, but extremely pricy. And the payment is done by scanning a barcode and paying from your phone, so there isn’t much human interaction, and we asked for some sauce and cutlery and never got them, I had to get up and grab some forks myself. There was also no soap in the men’s toilet, and I asked for hand sanitizer and got a very rude reply being told to just wash my hands in the toilet, and they walked away before I could say there was no soap in any of the men’s cubicle, and yet I still got a judgy look for not tipping after all this.. lol. Otherwise, good service, and I love how there’s bottomless green tea, I would recommend.

Staff were so polite, greeting us and checking in on us frequently. The restaurant was very clean and well designed. We sat in a booth for four, but only two of us, so plenty of space. Food as always, was delicious! As someone with a nut allergy, they catered for my needs easily. My only slight moan, is that the pina colada style cocktail was rather small for the price, but maybe that's just me being greedy. And not a Reigate problem, a Wagamama problem as it was the same size as in the Crawley restaurant. When we left, every member of staff said goodbye as we passed, making us feel like royalty 😁

RUN RUN RUN .. if you want to avoid most disappointing resultant you can ever find..the service is lousy.. food is ok as restaurant attendant don’t make them.. the resturant sucks.. only suggestion just avoid. Reigate Wagamama as it just don’t worth it …

We’ve been to this Wagamama a few times now and it’s a great one. Good service and the food is always a hit with my kids. It’s nice having a spicy margarita on the drinks menu along with sake and some good beers like Asahi and my kids love their fresh juices. Popular items on the menu for us are the chili squid, duck bao buns, duck gyoza, veggie gyoza, and mains are duck donburi (sp?), chicken katsu salad, and the beef ramen. Yum.

First time visit for me, and I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT BEING THERE. !!! I'm definitely going to come back!!

In addition to a lovely lunch I had at the Reigate Wagamama, I am writing this review due to my experience a few days later. I unfortunately lost my wallet I think on a bus immediately after I left this restaurant and not in the actual restaurant (I would have needed my card to pay for the bus). However I rang the restaurant to check and Liam answered my call and honestly could not have been more caring and helpful. He double checked nothing had been handed in and said he would keep my number in case it was found there and wished me luck in being reunited with it. Such a kind and clearly lovely person who restored my faith in humanity. Just wish he was the one to have found it on the bus! :)

Absolutely pathetic service, the manager was beyond rude, lousy and wasn’t just interested in serving. He was very good at serving other table so, maybe he just didn’t like OUR SKIN COLOUR! He brings our first main and my husband requested him to give us some cutlery as there was none on our table not even chopsticks. After waiting for 10 mins for our cutlery while the manager was just trying to fill in takeaway bags, I actual had to walk up to the counter to grab some which I wasn’t given saying they will bring them which took another 2 mins. Then the next main and eventually one side came through. When we were done eating we had to chase him again for our another side as it was still a no show. Then another 10 minutes ( I kid you not!) later he comes to our table to ask if we wanted to cancel the side order?!! As my husband was asking if they forgot to put the order correctly a girl appeared and cleared our table so, we had to again request cutleries. Felt very humiliated and discriminated.

God I don’t think I’ve ever been to a restaurant where they are Sooooooo Slow as they are here ! I mean I’ve seen sloths move faster than the service at this place ! Terrible Terrible experience of service at Reigate branch! Sat at the front of the restaurant and once the meals were out barely see another staff member. Asked for a drink for me & my daughter and 25 minutes later had to ask again. Waited another 15 minutes then had the wrong drink brought to the table so had to wait again! Then we sat there for an hour after food and still didn’t get offered a menu to get desert! In the end my wife had to get up and go and ask for a menu and you would of thought that they would of gotten the hint then and maybe kept an eye out to at least then offer you desert but NO!!! My wife had to then get up and go and ask again to actually order desert ! And this was from a different staff member! The original one who was meant to be waiting on us didn’t bother to even come back once ! We noticed that they are so busy sorting out takeaway and food service deliveries that they totally neglect the people who have actually gotten dressed and came out for a family meal! Then they bring the card machine over and hand it to you with the Tip button on the screen! Like your gonna give them anything after that experience! The restaurant wasn’t even busy ! Just Appalling service really! NEVER! AGAIN!

The food is great, the service is terrible. The waitress forgot our drinks, had to chase them and got 20 mins later. Tried to order another drink but the waitress didn't come back to us for so long,.I had to walk to the front of the restaurant and find someone to serve me. The waitress got my order wrong, shrugged it off when she realised and then did nothing about it. I asked for it to be corrected when I went to pay and she laughed it off with her manager as if I was being petty. The table behind us were also struggling to be served. Neither of us had been given a table number either and all I could hear behind me was them discussing that they wanted to pay but couldn't and there was noone there to serve them. We felt the same... Good food let down by really poor service

A mice drive through scenic surrey hills ending with an equally nice meal at wagamama Reigate. There is plenty of seating, good food and plenty of parking nearby.

They add chili’s and chili flakes in pad thai. Completely unedible as it is just pure spice. Waste of money and waste of food.

Ordered take away but it arrived with missing items. Called and staff who didn't seem to care and told me to complain via app. Only option to reorder with £5 extra of fees, wasn't allowed to even collect it myself. Last time they delivered a chicken instead of vegetarian ramen, I should have learned. Whoever deals with the takeaways obv cba.

It was my first time eating out at Wagamama's, so i wasn't sure on what to expect. The restaurant has always looked intriguing to me, so I've always wanted to try it. The dish i ordered was a number 20: Chicken Ramen, and it was delicious. Though the broth was a bit too sweet, the chicken was tender and noodles were juicy and perfectly cooked. I was with someone, and they ordered a very spicy ramen (a bit too spicy), However, they did get my dish mixed up for someone else's chicken ramen, so i had a 10-minute wait for it, which was annoying as my significant other diner was already halfway through their meal. Service was great, but they do keep asking you too many times if you want any kind of drink.

Tyrone greeted us warmly and demonstrated exceptional friendliness and helpfulness. He skillfully addressed my wife's disability needs by reallocating our seats to ones more suitable for her. His exemplary customer service was truly brilliant.

Tried chicken yakitori, ebi katsu as starter, then tantamen beef ramen, katsu curry chicken, and ginger chicken udon for main course. Other than katsu curry chicken ginger, I liked the dishes. no-jito and cherry blossom lemonade are nice to try drinks. Food services was good even though it was rush time.

As a regular customer, my recent visit was very disappointing. 1) sanitary toilet bin full showing all bits (quite disgusting) and this is at 12. Only one hour after the shop opened. 2) we had to call out the numbers against menu as this girl could not place an order by food names. We had to remind her that our drinks were missed three times!! 3) i was very unhappy when I had to ask her where our drinks were third time. The manager nearby did not even bother to check the issue Was the shop busy? About 5 tables were occupied served when we were there. The bar staff busy chatting and waiters standing by the bar day dreaming. Overall, incompetent leadership, poorly trained staff, which results in a terrible customer services.

Ordered duck Bau bun. If you get a quarter of meat im a dry bun no matter what else you do it will be awful. SHAME ON YOU WAGAMAMMA. Why should your customers need to complain when your food is generally good. Very disappointing !!!!

Like all the rest the food is good, fresh and fast. Here in Reigate, is full of families. But the best choice in Reigate to eat late.

Great place for adults and kids - tasty bites with a nice level of heat and seasoning. Sadly they were out of edamame but we enjoyed the cauliflower and rice dishes …. Everything was delivered to the table as it was ready… so not everyone had food at the same time. Service was good - prices very reasonable.

Food was really good, not that expensive and definitely a vibe for a date. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

It was the first time we went there for dinner. The staff was very friendly and provided crayons and am activity sheet for my little one. The food was served quickly and was very tasty. Just the pad Thai was spicier than we thought.

Visited on Saturday early evening. Was very busy, but service was excellent, food was prompt and having eaten at several other wagamama locations I would rate this the best one!

Firstly, the service was incredibly slow. Despite the restaurant not being overly crowded at the time, it took an unreasonably long period for our orders to be taken, and the food arrived well after a lengthy wait. This delay significantly affected our overall dining experience, leaving us feeling frustrated and hungry. Furthermore, the quality of the food itself was disappointing. The dishes we ordered were not up to the standards I have come to expect from Wagamama. The flavors were bland, and the portions seemed smaller than usual. It was clear that the kitchen staff may have been having an off day, but it should not have impacted the quality of the food to such an extent. To make matters worse, the overall ambiance in the restaurant was less than pleasant. The noise level was high, making it difficult to have a conversation, and the cleanliness left much to be desired.

recently had lunch at Wagamama with my partner, and unfortunately, it was a rather disappointing experience.Firstly, the service left much to be desired. We had to wait an unusually long time before anyone came to take our order, and once our food arrived, it was clear that our order had been mixed up. This resulted in a longer wait to get the correct dishes, and by the time they arrived, our appetites had dwindled.The food itself was a letdown as well. Both of our dishes were underwhelming in flavor, and the portion sizes seemed smaller than what we've come to expect from Wagamama. The overall quality of the meal did not match the price we paid.

I regularly dine at Wagamama in Reigate and I've always enjoyed the food and service. However, my visit today was disappointing. I ordered a dish, that I've ordered many times before, but some of the rice pieces seemed uncooked or burnt; basically rock hard pieces within the dish. Very unusual for Wagamama. I politely requested a replacement and explained the issue; the guy, I believe his name was Leon, who served my table has great customer service skills and handled this well. The replacement came and the portion size was much less than was originally served. I didn't complain about this, as I had already complained about the rock hard rice! One of the managers came over to apologise about the first meal and he was also lovely. When I was leaving, the manager who apologised for the meal was standing alongside, I assume another manager, as they were wearing similar attire. When I looked over at them, he was polite and professional when saying goodbye to guests. However, she was looking at me in a very unfriendly manner, which I didn't like. I got the impression that my complaint about the food was not well received. If a customer has an issue with the food/drink or service, they are within their rights to respectfully bring this to the attention of staff. I did this in a polite manner to the member of staff who served my table. I then don't expect for a senior member of staff to give me an unsavoury look as I leave the premises. It was unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour from a senior staff member. This doesn't encourage repeat custom.

The service was absolutely brilliant and the best I have ever experienced out of my wagamama. 2 ladys served me, the one with the long blonde (i think!) hair was particularly nice and attentive. I think her name started with a C. Only thing to note is that the tofu was just fried a bit much in my opinion but was great otherwise

Brilliant service at this familiar joint. The food is always good (although do I detect a slight shrinking of the portion sizes?) Anyway, the friendly, caring and attentive staff are always helpful and prompt and no request ever seems too much. We mentioned one of our party had a nut allergy and the manageress came over and reassured us and made sure our dietary needs were met with a smile. I think her name is Poppy and deserves a massive bonus for the way her team executes at a very high level on a consistent basis. Looking forward to our next visit!

Music too loud unable to hear conversation being held with others in my party and waiting staff, too cold to the point of shivering due to table being situated under air con fan. Experience and enjoyment of food would have been better if I wasn't freezing, changed places with other members of party but too cold for anyone. Overall would come back again providing I got a different table away from Aircon & speaker

Went to this restaurant this evening before cinema at Everyman. Really good location and parking outside. Quickly seated and nice atmosphere. Order taken quickly and good very fast. Really tasty food and a good price. One of the best Wagamama I have been to

It was a great place. This was my first time ever eating at wagamama and I enjoyed it. The service was excellent from every single person I encountered. The food was amazing however prices were really high. This is expected of a restaurant of this caliber though so i cannot complain.

Food as per usual is lovely but the staff here must be commended. They work extremely hard and such lovely service! Nothing was too much and came across friendly and interested in what bits we wanted to order. The staff make this place!

Was seen and seated quickly, we sat at the bar and front of house was attentive & took our order after seeing us wait a little while. Food came out as it does (nothing is in an order is first cooked out it comes). The food was great. The boys behind the bar were bloody marvellous to watch, great team working together! Come to this Wagas often and I don’t think I’ll change. Always good service and good food.

Charlie was really helpful in allowing us to sit in our preferred seating area, getting it ready for us swiftly and ensuring our food was prepared as requested. Thanks for a great experience as always!

We have been to a few Wagamamas. The one in Reigate was by far the best. We were served by an amazing waitress called Chelsea who was also training a new staff member, yet her skills did not slip. All staff greeted us with great customer service Chelsea especially and another gentlemen but we didn’t catch his name. He had dark hair and I believe he was wearing glasses.thank you for a wonderful experience, we will definitely be back :)

Fairly large place with friendly service and usual menu. New deserts though which were really nice. Not too busy on a Saturday night if you go early. There seemed to be a wait for tables later though. Handy cinema round the corner if you fancy a film after.

Speedy and friendly service, staff are super happy, like a Valium at the start of shift kind of happy. To a point where you question the validity. Either way it is good service. Food serving is ridiculously quick, if I wasn't sitting opposite the kitchen I'd be thinking it's microwaved. As with all wagamama's my bone of contention is the timing of service, my wife is awaiting her starter whilst I'm 3 courses ahead tucking into dessert

Wagamama used to be a treat that I really looked forward to, but now the food isn't any better than a below average takeaway, unfortunately.
