Unfortunately nowhere near as good as the other wagamama in victoria square Belfast. Had the firecracker meal which had lovely flavour, but the sticky rice was very hard and dry which is not the way stick rice should be. Sticky rice each time I order it in the other location I mentioned is lovely, fluffy, moist and sticky. Presentation was good. My wife's meal was poorly presented and bland, just like my child's noodle dish The Kirin draft Japanese beer is lovely and I highly recommend it. The bao buns for starters is a great choice. They are soft and full of flavour. Staff however are warm and friendly except for the older lady dressed in black who was very sharp and cold. I felt this lady was quite patronising....not good at all. The foods delivery really needs some work. I had my food 10 minutes before my wife had hers. My child had her food approximately 5 minutes after mine.

None of my order has arrived, and order is saying 'delivered' No help from restaurant whatsever saying its Just Eats problem

Disappointing service would not return Arrived this afternoon with two kids. Place was completely empty except for one table of two people. After being seated and given menus, our waitress did not return to take our order. She spent her time cleaning tables instead. We waited and tried to make eye contact but received no service, so we decided to leave.

Great Bowl of Raman. Server was great and the pint of Kirin was gorgeous.

Great service and even better food as always. The gyoza and Korean beef bao buns are a must try.

Delivery was late, I had to phone the restaurant to find out about my order, was told the driver collected the order a while back. The driver then phoned to say my order had been cancelled on his app, I told him I never cancelled the order, he then asked for my address and said he will deliver the food for free because the order had been cancelled,,,,,,by who???? I wonder. I got my very cold food after nearly 2 hours of placing my order. I will never order through JUST EAT again!!!!!!!!

We order from here all the time however this evening the portion sizes were terrible. The edamame container looked a 1/4 full and both ramen dishes we got there was very little meat and broth in both. Very disappointing tonight as we normally have a great meal from here

Barely warm enough to eat when eventually arrived. Tiny shrivelled up over cooked pieces of tofu and far too much chilli you can’t taste anything. Inedible. What happened to Wagamama? So disappointing

Scheduled a delivery an hour before delivery was required.....it was late. Also no egg in the ramen

I had the most amazing meal last night. Being vegetarian it is sometimes difficult to get a decent meal when out. Wagamama offer a fantastic range of vegetarian and vegan meals to chose from. Big shout out to Steffi who made the most delicious Pad Thai I have ever eaten, and tailored it to my own fussy whims. Also, special thanks to Nicola who made us feel so welcome. She took so much time with us we felt like VIPs. Cannot wait to go back.

Fantastic lunch at wagamama today, first time here, but won't be my last. Highly recommend it, if you haven't been then it's a must. The food is to die for, I'll not try & spell them here, but there was 3 of us, so 3 different meals, plus tried 2 sides aswell. Beautiful food, healthy portions, great atmosphere, friendly & knowledgeable staff. Great value for money.

Food didn't seem quite to the standard it usually is.

Very very late I'm not happy with this. Food is cold waited more than 2 hours disappointed.. if you want your customer to come back then better have better system.

Fast friendly service yet the food is good quality and delicious. The gyoza and Bao Buns are especially delicious, a good amount of seasoning and cooked just right.

Really helpful for my son who is gluten free

I liked my meal and also tried my partner's food and it tasted nice as well. We asked that our meals be made really spicy but I knew it probably would still not be as spicy as needed so I asked for chili flakes or some sort of peppery sauce. They brought both options. We used the spicy sauce with our meal. I also had a lemon cheesecake. The cake was great. My only complaint is why there is barely any meat in both our food? That was annoying and weird. I like meaty food and their food just isn't. Both our meals were supposed to have chicken and prawns. I think I only saw 3 tiny prawns in my food. The chicken was miserly. Filling up the plate with veggies and little meat. This is why I gave them 2 stars. Also, I ordered gin and tonic. I later asked if they sold shots because I needed more gin and they said no. So to get more gin, I'd have to order gin and tonic again when I just wanted more gin to finish up my tonic. Entire thing cost about £53 for two persons.

Rubbish menus compared to UK mainland

A special shout out to Nicola ( I think she’s the manager) at waga mama Dundonald. I live at the other side of Belfast and stupidly left my keys at the restaurant last night. When I called to get them unfortunately they couldn’t be located. I rang back today and explained to Nicola that I was 100% sure that I left the keys in the seating box booth I was at. Nicola kindly took the time out with a torch light and looked behind the seating to find that my keys had fallen down the back of the seating and took her time to squeeze my them out, afterwards she said then called me back to to say she had found them … ha Ray…. Thank God for Nicola as these keys hold the keys to my home, business and car. A real credit to the company with lots of assertiveness and kindness. Thank you Nicola so much once again xx Restores some faith in great service in Hospitality when someone as mature and conscientious as Nicola is in charge.

Never ever get firecracker chicken as a delivery…utterly disgraceful. No sauce, too many French onions and rice piled on top of the whole thing. It was cold too with very little chicken! At almost £18 plus delivery it was very very poor and way too expensive. Just so disappointed.

Driver litterally threw the food in through the communal apartment doors! Didn’t even try to contact us or bring it upstairs

Didn't accept our £50 wagamama gift voucher, yes that's a wagamana gift voucher. Apparently only available to use in the UK. Even though northern Ireland is part of the UK. Absolute joke. Want a refund.

Got given £50 vouchers as a Christmas present that were paid for and delivered to a northern Ireland address only to be told after we'd eaten that they don't accept the vouchers in northern Ireland. Why sell them to an northern Irish postcode and why do you not accept the vouchers in northern Ireland???? Absolute joke. You need to refund the £50 ASAP. Northern Ireland is part of the UK. Whoever made up these rules needs to have a word with themselves

My food portion was extremely small I only received 3 bits of chicken in my katsu curry and only a small bit of rice ? Is there anything that can be done about this ? My portion was extremely small and haven’t experienced anything as small before

We arrived on a Friday night which should have been so busy. There were about 5 tables in and it was 7.40pm.Anyway we ordered our meals ...my girlfriend and I. We both had noodle dishes with chicken. Different styles so we could compare them. Meals came in good time and looked great. I couldn't tell you what my dish was as it was my first time there Slightly hot and sort of sweet dish Good choice it tasted great. Girlfriend chose I think a bit better and hers was lovely too. BUT....both dishes had the same hard and chewy chicken. Rubbish. The young lady taking the order said to us that our order could take a wee while as everything was cooked fresh ? It came in good time , no complaints there. BUT the chicken I would say was cooked way in advance and cooled and put into the fridge! Taken out when needed and thrown into a wok and cooked again . Tough as old boots. Either a LAZY chef or the place is so so busy. Nope not busy. If you go to the Chinese they don't give you tough chicken ? Frsh chicken fillet is used. So no idea why the chef let's the whole meal down by using rubbish chicken. We pushed our empty plates to the end of the table. They sat there for maybe 10 minutes...nobody came near us. We waved a chef and indicated to ask someone to come over? So I ordered a lemon cheesecake for pudding .We were the only table left now and it was 8.30pm. The waitress came back and said sorry No Lemon cheesecake left ! But there was Caramel cheesecake..ok I've never had that so I said yes I would try it. And after a few minutes she came back and said they had no cheesecake of any variety left. I was annoyed at this stage so I said OK doesn't matter just get me the bill please ! How can a place with only 1 table of 2 people get such poor service. Surely you can tell what sweets you have ? It can't be that difficult ? Anyway not so happy with Wagamama Dundonald....poor everything!! Dissapointed !!

We were really disappointed. Didn’t get correct noodles. There was so many chillis in the tantenman dish we weren’t able to eat very much of it.

The food costs the same to be delivered as what it costs to eat in the restaurant. The portions are smaller and the food isnt of the same standard. The salad was past its best and the food needed microwaved as wasnt very hot.

I usually love Wagamama and have never ever had a problem with the food. However, visited tonight for dinner and ordered a few dishes including Steak Teriyaki Soba and Wok Fried Greens. I mixed my greens into my noodles as I always do for extra veg, however, soon into eating the meal found a hair on a piece of broccoli in my noodles. I declined a fresh dish and it was agreed that the food would be removed from the bill. When it came to paying the bill staff declined to remove the wok fried greens despite me being unable able to eat them and said it was my fault for mixing the greens into the noodle dish as they come as separate dishes. I explained that none of the food should have contained any hairs but this was met with an argumentative member of staff and was told that the manager was too busy to speak with me. I've never left a negative review and I know how hard it can be working in a customer facing role but there is absolutely no excuse for poor hygiene and rude staff.

Ambience is amazing. The staff is quite attentive. Loved the food too. Do try yaki soba 🍜 , its delicious. Being an Indian was looking for spicy foood in Ireland and finally found food with amazing flavours. And if you mention them for the food to be spicy then be ready for some lip smacking chilli flakes shots 🌶️🌶️ . Good place for family/ friends get-together.

Recent visit with my friend. He just loves all different foods. Me I'm more fussy. He had a selection of starters to try and myself well only 1 item on menu I braved. It was lovely though . He enjoyed every bite and can't wait to return.

Surprised at the quality of the dishes for a chain restaurant. Excellent service, but little atmosphere as there were only two other sets of customers, and we were having an late afternoon meal, so only to be expected. Generally a very clean looking establishment, although they may want to upgrade what they wipe the tables with, as ours was a little sticky.

Food arrived earlier than expected but was lukewarm. Food was really not great. All you could taste was salt and none of the usual flavours. I’ve ordered this many times before but it was horrible tonight.

You'll always get a good meal. They're getting a bit expensive though.

Went to Wagamama in Dundonald for an early dinner before going to Streamvale Farm and had the most beautiful experience. This was my first time in Wagamama, though it's a favourite of my Teenage son and his friends. I ordered the fried Chicken gyoza and Chicken and Prawn Yaki Soba. My friend ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry. Everything was absolutely beautiful, the flavours were complex and fresh and the service was really good without being intrusive. Everything on the menu was really well described and our server also offered to help us if we needed more information. We were really impressed with the service we received. I always like to mention too that the toilets were very clean and tidy which always makes me feel better about eating in a place!! My first, but definitely not my last visit to Wagamama I suspect!!

Really friendly service and very good tasting food, however my partner is currently suffering from food poisoning. Either the prawns or chicken in his meal must have been contaminated..

Disappointed. Ordered bao buns which had no mayo and had one mushroom. All 4 buns where dry and very mean with mushrooms. We ordered a large family meal which cost £70.

For the first time the food was disappointing. Chicken wings have changed . Katsu curry was smaller than usual and Ramen was weak . Hopefully this is a one off and next time will be back to normal. R

Ordered the Wok Fried Greens and Chilli squid. The squid was inedible. Cold and rock solid. The greens were a sloppy, mushy mess. Sit in with Wagamama, delivery is a no go.

I did not receive my order. I placed my order sat to be delivered sat straight away. I phoned the restaurant to ask where my order was and was told they had not received it. The payment has since been taken from my account and I got a notification yesterday as I was on the flight home to say my order had been delivered. I am extremely unhappy about this and would like a refund as well as compensated for the hassle and having to go without food Saturday evening because of your mistake!

I had dinner here last weekend, I had never been to Wagamama before. We had to queue to get in but the queue moved quite quickly. We were brought menus while still in the queue, which helped to move things along. We were seated at a long table with several other people. We were asked about allergies and I was brought a menu with the items which could be made gluten free circled. I was happy with the meal I ordered, which was a chicken donburi, with a side of greens in a garlicky sauce. The main negative point would be that it was very noisy. We were going on to the cinema afterwards, so the prompt service was good.

Delicious food. Nothing beats a spicy Ramen on a cold night.

Everytime I go to restaurants I am nervous because I have a food allergy and I have had bad experiences but every time I come here the staff go above and beyond to make me feel safe and thoroughly explain the menu to me. I didn't feel like my choices were limited and the food was perfect, I look forward to coming again

Has gone downhill since reopening after lock down. Standard of food has dropped dramatically. Going to leave it a brave few months before going back in the hope that things will improve.

Got seated on a bench but the waitress noticed I used a walking stick so she said we could move when a booth became free. Nice relaxed atmosphere and we both enjoyed our meals, though my tofu was a little too crispy. We went across to Binky’s for tea and cake afterwards though. Wagamama’s is good for a meal, but for a relaxing catch up with my friend it was a bit bright and busy. If you want a quick feed though, it’s a great place

We had a nice meal. Unfortunately, shrinkflation has hit this restaurant. The meals cost the same as before, but we got less food (mainly less meat). I don't think I'll be back any time soon.

Ordered on Uber eats, they forgot to put in any curry for the three mains. Then offered a £3 refund so this place is a total joke. What a dump!
