Trabajando localmente, tenía el antojo de un desayuno tardío, pero no un plato lleno, salchichas y huevo con refresco y un café para comer.A pesar de que 1 crítico criticó como demasiado ruidoso, no tuve problemas, cocinado fresco, servicio rápido y muy sabroso. La operación de entrega "Solo come" no interfiere con el servicio de mostrador, probablemente volveré para un Ulster Fry completo, otro día.

I always nip in for a sausage bap with fried onions.very tasty!the cafe has nice cakes,a good selection of sandwichs & the staff are good.keep up the good work

Encontrado en google maps cuando temprano al cementerio de Roselawn y no se abre. La comida era absolutamente excelente, muy limpia y sabrosa. Lo recomiendo altamente La tostada francesa fue la mejor que he probado en años. Hacen cafés especiales. El personal muy bueno. También haga entregas y abra desde las 8 am los domingos.

Mi marido y yo hemos venido aquí unas cuantas veces, normalmente un sábado o domingo por la mañana para un fry.No es malo. Mi marido prefiere más que yo, pero que no comer nada. Mi único problema sería los huevos, sean duras como una piedra o tan suaves que es blanca, y eso me convierte líquidos.Nada más, pero intentamos viajas todo parece lo suficientemente agradable cuando lo veo ir a otras mesas y también hacer sándwiches y comidas fuera demasiado creo

Puesto orden, toma asiento y esperé durante 30 minutos, no hay comida! Me preguntó si mi pedido personal sería largo me dijeron que nunca habían pasado al chef. El personal tenía la mejilla a cobrar £1 por el paquete multi coca cola bebí mientras esperando la orden que nunca recibí.Personal más interesado en los pedidos de entrega de sus clientes estar en frente de ellos (sólo había yo y otros 1 al cliente durante mi visita perdido). Cafetería muy ruidoso, como sentarse en el medio de una cocina trabajando. Muy ruidoso batidoras comida, golpeando, etc.Esta es la segunda mala experiencia culinaria que he tenido en los cocineros de la cafetería. Previamente ordenados frys ir. Recibimos una mezcla de muy poco hecha y huevos cocidos. Huevos crudos tenía corría al pan haciendo la fry comestible.No regresaré!

Love this place! The food is so tasty and such a variety of food, all of which is consistently good (I’ve basically tried the whole menu). The staff are always so friendly and better still everything is very well priced.

Have eaten here a few times over the last couple of months as I sometimes work nearby. The menu is extensive and varied however it does seem slightly overpriced. The quality of the food is however very good. On one occasion, we had to wait around 30 minutes for two breakfasts despite being the only patrons in the cafe, which I found surprising. The staff don't seem to use notepads to take orders which results in frequent omissions of items (has happened a couple of times). I would rate the cafe as average, with potential.

The cooks is a lovely little family run cafe, cheap and tasty food! Highly recommend the fry and roast, great salads too. Oh yes and you can get all delivered to your door! Excellent!

Llamado para la fry especial grasosa, que tenía hambre y comimos de todos modos. Madre mía qué gran error, 4 horas laters estuvo en el baño y se acabó de mí. Tardaron dos días para recuperarse y normalmente tengo un estómago fuerte.Freír en mi opción letal.Volveré, como puñetas! ! !

Had a Groupon afternoon tea here today. It is a little cafe, basic inside. The merchant hotel it is not. However the voucher was inexpensive and the food and service were excellent. No complaints from myself and three friends. Would happily return.

One of the best wee cafe .! been here many times never get disappointed ..demin is a star ..!!worth visit if u live in area ..! I travel bit a distance to enjoy my coffee here .!!

Quick lunch of panini and tea. Pleasant service, respectable price. Whether barbecue sauce goes with onion, cheese and bacon is another question.

Reservé el té de la tarde ya que habían dado un cupón groupon y no decepcionó. Mi hija y yo llegamos temprano y nos dieron una mesa enseguida. El caballero quien ahora sé como Damián explicó lo que se sirve para el té de la tarde de chocolate. Después de una corta espera nuestro café y té llegó seguido de un plato de bollos con mermelada y crema de arándanos y un puesto de tarta con un club sándwich ubicada en la parte inferior y brownies caminos rocosos y un mousse de chocolate en la parte superior. Todo es precioso. Había mucho para llegar, pero no podríamos terminar pero llegamos a casa lo que no podía comer. El café estaba limpio y cálido y el personal muy amable. Sin duda alguna volveremos.

So we purchased the voucher on groupon for chocolate afternoon tea. I don't think I've ever felt so mis-sold, so the photo shown had lots of little chocolate treats on a tray, from buns to sorbets and little chocolate mousses. What we got.. we shared 1 sandwich cut into 4, one bun cut into 4 small pieces, HALF a scone each and another small chocolate bun which was cut into 4 small pieces, only 2 of these pieces we got, which was also the only thing chocolate about it. What we got was nice but absolutely ripped off and not the most comfortable feeling them moaning while your sitting there about the cost of buns they bought in even though there so called homemade by them.. I'm put off buying anything from groupon again to be honest

Booked a groupon voucher for afternoon tea,have been ringing this place last few weeks but no answer or engaged!!arrived there yesterday wi my wee son who was so excited to have this.there was 2 people sitting in the place at the time so we took a seat.lady came over said can I take ur order I advised we have a voucher to use oh she said have u booked?I said sadly not as couldn't get through on phone,she then got owner who came over and said sorry u need to book.i said there's noone here!he advised he didn't have any sandwiches available.he then said have u traveled far I said yes from Bangor,I bought this voucher as a treat for my son.he then said u want a hot chocolate to my son,my son was upset at this point and said no thanks.i then asked could I book while I was there he said he was fully booked!!!!I advised voucher expires next week!!!wat a joke just got a refund back of groupon there!!!!!won't be returning had a very upset child to deal with after that

What a delightful surprise this wee place is. We went with a Groupon voucher for their chocolate afternoon tea. What a lovely welcome we got from the owner, and again from the delightful waitress taking our drink order. The food was genuinely exceptional, nothing was too much trouble, we all ended up calling out radio quiz answers, we felt so relaxed, and that's just not me normally!! Loved this place, can definitely recommend it strongly.

Absolutely brilliant! My daughter had her 8th birthday party here on Saturday.. 14 girls decorating cupcakes, making chocolate biscuit lollies and having a lovely dinner tea party. I'm told it was "awesome" and her "best party ever". The 2 members of staff were absolutely lovely with the girls and great fun too. Highly recommend!! Thank you so much! Will definitely do this again for my other daughter.

Looks like your average local cafe, but the food is way better that the average cafe. Had the festive afternoon tea & did not disappoint. We arrived earlier than expected & staff were quick to clear & reset table for us & get us seated. Really accommodating & brilliant laugh. Food was delicious, the homemade apple cake & mince pies were gorgeous, the turkey club sandwich is something I will be going back for. There was so much served we couldn't finish some of the delicious treats & offered a box to take home what was left. Can't wait to try the chocolate afternoon tea.

I would use here quiet regularly and the stew or the bacon baps are good and staff are always friendly. Defo worth a go :)

I was in on Saturday Morning. 27/02/16. My welcome was from a young girl that had a lovely way about herself. I was asked if i wanted a refreshment while browsing through the menu. My Coffee was outstanding, just like the service. My breakfast was poached eggs and bacon and it really did hit the spot. As I say the service from I walked into the Cooks Cafe until I left was fantastic, my waitress a young blonde haired girl really made my morning .It's lovely to see a family run business doing well.Well done Cooks Cafe

I am a regular to Cooks, its a small place and family run. The owner could not do enough for you and remembers what you like. It has great selection of traditional wholesome dishes, Deli options and fly ups. The roast on Sundays is incredible and you can get it delivered to your door! (they deliver anything!) highly recommend.

Love this cafe, very family friendly and the staff are great. The food is always good and reasonably priced.

Bad.... Stay away unless ur family who seem to run the place on the service side!!! Not impressed, food goid, surroundings with company terrible... Keep family out!!!

Stop in for a morning coffee for my walk to work. The coffee is really lovely (and I worked as a barista for 5 years, so I am picky). The service was also lovely. Can't wait to try the food. Lovely friendly atmosphere.

Not the cleanest eating establishment........at least 3 dirty tables and food on the floor. this put me off slightly, however, food was lovely. Dont know whether i would go back......

I had recently ate in the cooks cafe and i had ordered food for my husband and two children! I had sat waiting for over 30 minutes! Eventually when the food came it was slopped on my plate and in all honesty it wasnt the nicest food ever the waitress had terrible manners and appeared to be not the tidiest looking person ever! The drinks we had ordered were horrible the coffee was very bitter and wasnt extremely warm im shocked that i had found a hair on the side of the plate it was small and black be careful only god knows where it came from! Over all i wont be back there again! All i can say was the children enjoyed it and the manager seemed lovely toward my 2 children and offered them books as we waited....

I am a regular to the cooks cafe, the food is always good, and they are really accommodating to my 3 children. The French toast breakfasts and the healthy breakfasts are great and the kids live the chicken goujons and handmade chips.The staff are lovely and really friendly, there is a great atmosphere and we always feel really welcome.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem after a heavy night out. The food restored all the faith I had in the world and the service was just what I needed whilst nursing a hangover. Great food, great value, great service. Can't wait to return!! Thanks cook's cafe!!

My partner and I decided to pop in for some food as it is literally around the corner. Well I am simply gobsmacked, the owner/chef was incredibly rude at one point shouting at the waitress because she forgot to tell the chef we ordered two portions of chips ( this is in front of ourselves as customers and also 2 other customers) the waitress took our order and my partner asked for a burger she didn't ask what was on it and the chef sent her out to check ... my partner asked for hawian after a rummage around the chef shouted over the cafe were out of pinnapple do you want bacon cheese and onion? My partner aghast at being called out over the restaurant agreed as he was to embarrassed to say other wise. When while I asked for the lasagne with 'home made' coleslaw ... It came with NO COLESLAW when I asked for some the girl said to the chef/owner I don't think we have any today ...again after some rummaging he came back with what look like a last minute mock up that was slathered in mayo. The only good thing I can say was my partners burger meat was nice and the chips even though they arrived after the meal they were nice enough .... lastly I ordered a smoothie wow they need to check there ingredients as they were clearly out of date very sour and sickening. Best of all they had a cheek to ask was everything ok at the end even though it was clearly not. Disgusted won't be back and will be sure to pass my experience around.

This wee cafe on the Ballygowan road, in Castlereagh, East Belfast, is a hidden gem. The owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of food available, from frys, toasties, sandwiches, soups and salads.. something to suit everyone. It is also great value for money.

Called in here for breakfast today. Great food, very friendly staff and good value. Very accommodating also. Will definitely be back.

Thanksgiving at the Cook's café. Last we booked a really early last year for what was then termed a 'Christmas dinner'. We loved it. Although we were the only ones there. It had a lovely setting and the best roast potatoes. When I went in Sept. to see when they might start, wasn't exactly greeted with enthusiasm, but the chef is a very nice and pragmatic man and on occasion listens to crazy ladies. He has gone full force, check his face book page, found another American who helped with menu suggestions and voila and Voila! The 7:30 setting almost booked out. But as Thanks giving (in the south) is trad a afternoon meal The 6:00 seating is available! We'll be there. BYOBThe best deal in Belfast for a holiday meal!

I get carry out food in this cafe several times a week both for me & my staff & i have to say it is just magnificent. The Owner & staff are very friendly & helpful. The food is just superb & i never have any reason to complain. The chicken baguettes are just awesome. Keep up the good work.

Popped in for a fry one morning and it's exactly what i look for in a cafe; friendly staff, good food and a warm atmosphere. On top of the that the bill only came to £5.75 for a fry and a coffee. Will definitely be returning on my next visit to the area!

The café is a great addition to the area. the décor is a cut about, and so is the food. They will open evenings for Christmas meals BYOB. A welcome relief to the uncertainties of the restaurant scene for those of us who live in the area.

Just nipped in for a simple coffee on a wet Sunday. Person serving didn't know how to use the coffee machine so ended up with a cup of hot milk. Asked for another cup, which arrived promptly but was exactly the same hot milk rather than coffee. I put it down to management not training staff. A shame as there aren't many cafes in this area.

This cafe is a gem, the people are friendly and the service is great.If you want some good honest food cooked well that doesn't break the bank, then you will find it here time and time again!I can't rate this place enough!

The next time you're around the junction at the top of the Castlereagh Rd. in Belfast, call in and while you're looking at the menu, ask for a cup of coffee and have a chat with the really friendly guy behind the counter....he'll keep you right on the top sights to see in Belfast and bring you your grub with a smile. I was in Belfast just after christmas and drove past it and thought id try it, was a lovely fry (impressive sausages) and good service. Popped back on a sunday as i saw they was doing roasts, really niceThanks Cook's cafe will be back again

My family (5 of us) had a lovely lunch in the Cook's Cafe, the food was all home made, hot and very tasty.The coffee is excellent.The owners are very welcoming and the prices are great.

As a visitor from Sydney I was very impressed by this small family run cafe. I had an 'Ulster Fry' at bunch on the Saturday and was shocked at how cheap my bill came to. I then went back the next day for the 'Sunday Roast' which was delicious and the portions were very generous, the choice of deserts was also very good.
