It was a hot day and we decided to pop in and get some icecrea, before we headed to a show at the theatre close by. The ice cream was tasty and they had a decent amount of flavour options.

I went to Wimbledon’s branch on 21st December at 3pm and had to leave due to the terrible customer service. I arrived and queued to place an order. A few minutes after I arrived one of the guests queuing left, complaining that he had been waiting for a long time and was not even acknowledged. Once he left, the two girls working started laughing, Furthermore, whilst waiting, I realised that the guests in front of me were facing the same issues - no one was acknowledging them. I do understand that it was probably a busy hour, especially with only two employees (one working , the other one looking at tickets). However, no one had the decency of informing guests that there would be a delay or even saying “hello”. Additionally, guests were being laughed at - the lady in front of me had a couple of kids with her and when they were asking why it was taking so long the employees started laughing. Guests were given a “side eye” and blatantly ignored. After that, both employees started giving “high five” to each other. Then, the employee with short hair and without hat, ran her fingers through her hair and went on to touch someone’s food. Customer service can make or break a company.

Nice waffles at reasonable prices. The place could be a little cleaner but overall ok. The free water used to be available in a glass tank with lots of lemons, now it is just tap water:-( The portions are big and I can recommend their food. Also savoury options are available. Didn’t try the ice cream.

Not impressed at all. Waffle was chewy and clearly not fresh. Blatantly just heated up a ready-made waffle in waffle maker. My partner and I came to Wafflemeister especially and were so disappointed. My partner even more so than me and only had two bites of his. 2 stars for the vanilla ice cream that was topped on mine though. Other than that, nothing special and won’t be visiting again

I ordered from Wafflemeister this evening via UBER eat and was was delivered was raw flat dough! When I squish it into my hand then I'm sure my nephew will be able to use it as play dough. THe very basis is to send something that is cooked! I understand that the order was close to closing time but this is unacceptable especially as I paid £13.36 for my order. You workers should be ashamed of themselves to send something of such poor quality out. I had to throw the content in the bin. The waffle was translucent it was that raw and playable.

We decided to have our anniversary dinner here, opting for a more low key evening and Hand in Hand did not disappoint! What a lovely space and great food!

Everything was great but we had to move tables to get away from a person having a loud meeting on his laptop. Maybe headphones could be suggested to such customers! Food and service excellent

The fox and grapes is a very nice place to eat. We ordered the sirloin of beef unfortunately it was very tough and chewy. We both had difficulty cutting the meat. I left quite a lot of the meat and ordered a pudding for both of us it was apple crumble what I didn’t know is how hot the outside of the bowl was and burnt both fingers. All in all it was a disappointing lunch and an expensive mistake.

The Woodman is a delightful pub that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed drink or a hearty meal. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you step inside. The pub's menu offers a good selection of classic pub fare, all prepared to a high standard and at reasonable prices. The fish and chips are particularly noteworthy, with crispy batter and flaky fish. The real ales are well-kept, and the wine list offers a decent selection for those who prefer a glass of something more refined. The pub's interior is cozy and traditional, with plenty of comfortable seating areas, including a lovely outdoor terrace for those warmer days. The decor is tasteful and reflects the pub's namesake, the renowned artist and designer William Morris. Whether you're looking for a quick pint after work or a leisurely meal with friends, The Woodman is an excellent choice. It's a reliable and enjoyable pub that consistently delivers a positive experience.
