Great food. Delicious potatoes with cream cheese and lovely cakes. My only feedback would be to put a lid on the nappy bin in the toilet and improve the toilet area generally. But Great food and hope you do well.

Saw this place on face book so decided to give it a try. Has potential to be good but we were disappointed. Mish mash of cups. Americano in a glass cup n just instant coffee. Ordered cake and it was the smallest piece of cake ever. Milk served in a cup which went everywhere when poured. Whole place needs a good tidy up. Toys all messed up. Books in a mess. Dirty steps and toilet area. Also having the sliding gate across the front looks like they are closed. Know its for safety but there should be a notice on it saying please slide across, we are open. All just tips to improve things but hope you do well

I regularly take my two year old daughter to Violets, it's honestly the best place to go with kids in Clitheroe. It's got a great play corner with dress up, play kitchen and shop. It's just enough to keep young children busy while being small and calm enough that they don't need much help or supervision. I can sit and keep an eye on her from a nearby table while having a delicious, healthy deli lunch or a coffee. The kids food is great to, simple, healthy, appealing to kids. Good for picky eaters also I think as there's lots of choice and you can really customise the kids meals. I definitely recommend!

The best cafe in Clitheroe!! Super friendly staff & the best little play area for children. The food has been amazing every time we have visited - their hot chocolates are the best I've ever had. Me and my girls love our visits to Violets.

Over the moon we found this little spot after becoming first time parents. Everywhere else we’ve been it’s been a nervous experience with people looking at you bringing a pram in. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. What a lovely place to take a break and have a nice coffee/smoothie and a bite to eat. The drinks were brilliant and the sandwiches were 10/10. Can’t wait to be welcomed back soon. Recommend to any families with young kids who want to leave the house for a treat and be welcomed at the door! Thankyou for the experience!

We were passing late afternoon and popped in for coffee and a slice of lovely home made cake - we were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our visit, will call back with the grandchildren and there's lots for them to do here whilst we can also have a quick cuppa!

Had a soup craving so popped in. Delicious chunky veg soup. So tasty, made my day. I want the recipe. I’d definitely recommend a visit. Would have given 5 stars if it hadn’t been tricky to park anywhere nearby so best if ur on foot

I heard about Violets Deli on social media and visited for coffee and cake with my husband as I knew they had vegan options. The chocolate cake (made by another local company Cate The Bake) was gorgeous, rich and chocolatey with an excellent black Americano coffee. Violets can also offer a vegan sandwich, pie, vegan cheese and plant milks. They are very eco friendly too with vegan Miniml refillable soap in the toilets and a takeaway cup recycling box at the front door. I loved the whole ethos of Violets they are also very child friendly with a pram park to the rear which leaves more room in the cafe.

An excellent full English breakfast prepared with quality ingredients and prepared to perfection. A very friendly and professional staff team. The farm shop is a delight with an excellent range of products. The butchery and bakery departments are outstanding.

Restaurant with a View on Pendle Hill. Spanish and Mexican food We had the Mexican Chilli and glad due to the very large portion size that we didn't have a starter before hand. Food was exactly as described in the menu and well worth the £16.95 per main dish cost for the amount of food you received. Staff were friendly and helpful, providing top ups with table water when the bottle was empty. Sat at a table with a window view onto the surround valley and rolling hills, unfortunately it was raining so spoiled the view further away. Would recommend to anyone travelling in the area.
