Absolutely disgusted! Order over hour late, chippy not answering phone, offered £3 for delay! Drove round and it was shut!!! Strangely turned up after I got home. Where did it come from because nobody was at shop when I went there!! Food was cold greasy and dry, terrible customer service by violet chippy will never ever use again.

Food was okay - requested for extra salad and it was like they intentionally gave even less?! Sadly, we will not be ordering from here again nor recommending.

I tried to call them to check on the status of my order. No reply. Still have not received my order. Very disappointed. Will not order from this abysmal place.

Food was very late and when arrived was undercooked and cold

Donner meat was old and stale, didn’t look like a large portion either….not fresh like it has been in the past….fish was cold n soggy n stuck to the paper as were the chips.

Always good tasting food and very generously sized portions, for a good price too.

Cancelled my order and when I called said they’re leaving early. Yet still had deliveroo and Just Eat available. Bad customer service.

Regular customer here! It’s like every week I order here and we love how yummy the food.. only room for improvement is to double fry the chips so it can somehow retain its crispiness once it reaches our home pls. Thanks so much! 👍😊

Saveloy looked and tasted over cooked or it was old. Otherwise everything was hot and fresh.

I waited nearly 45 minutes for my order that status was still saying it’s being prepared I phoned the restaurant and they told me a driver has still not been to collect yet my food was waiting soni had to go and collect the food myself. I am not happy with the service

Once ordered from here the chips arrived cold and stale with no crunch in contrast the fish, let's not even get started with that the fish was flavourless and unappetising. hopefully the owner takes this as a chance to improve their store I have really high hopes for this store #fortnitssigmaohio no cap 😀.

Took the money through Uber Eats on a Sunday when they're showing as closed on Google and open through the apps and never delivered. I see many other reviews like that. This needs to be reported as they're purposely taking people's money without any intention of delivering

The best fish and chips in the west London area. Period. It's always super fresh, tasty and they go out of their way for you. If you want the best experience, call the store and order for collection. Don't rely on third-party delivery apps.

Woman I spoke to on the phone about laye delivery was very rude! when the food finally turned up it was stone cold and missing half the order! I kept ringing the restaurant, she finally answered and said why am I keep ringing if we have the food?!!!! absolutely disgusting

Food came fresh and hot very quick delivery and good value for money.

The curry sauce was thick and horrible, gooey consistency. The fish tasted oily, greasy and bland. The chips were dry and oily. The savaloy had fluff in it and was dry, hard to bite into however the inside (meat) was okay

The delivery gentleman is very polite & friendly very happy with the experience

Avoid at all costs. Ordered via Deliveroo, they set their own estimated time as 15 mins… order never showed up. Couldn’t get through via their phone and neither could Deliveroo. Conveniently accepted the order and taken my money which will now go through a lengthy process to get back as they are not set up with this process on Deliveroo. Awful!! No way to treat customers.

They are always very generous with their portions and always friendly and helpful if I have any queries

Never had a bad meal from here. Always hot, well cooked and presented with huge portions. Would easily recommend this as one of the best takeaways in the area!

Again….no notification to say driver on way!! Food arrived piping hot and fresh….very tasty!! One down side was I ordered 2 saveloy a but only recieved one so I’d like a refund for the missing item please!!!

I ordered via Deliveroo, the chippy confirmed the order, took the money and then never delivered. Hadn’t eaten since 8am so spending the day without food. They agreed to deliver their own food not from Deliveroo aswell which conveniently allows them to slight customers even easier by stopping the refund process via Deliveroo. Just another 20 quid they’ve decided to take out of someone else’s pocket near the end of the night. Terrible experience.

Food was terrible, most of the chips were uncooked and hard. Fish was bad, the kebab was terrible. Took one bite and had to spit it out. Don't really like doing reviews as it's a waste of time but no, I had to for this place as the food was shocking, waste of money and should be checked by food safety authorities

Would have to think again before buying here. Pre ordered for collection, normally good. However this time asked for crispy batter on fish, let's put it this way the batter was very greasy did not stick to fish not crispy worst batter ever had. Such a shame normally great fish and chips.

Better fish and chips here than south end on sea!, can't beat this local chippy, reasonably priced too, masala cod is the best 😋

I only had chips. Never again. The potatoes had been sub standard because the chips had lots of bad bits on them and they were dry. The oil used to cook them obviously wasn't fresh either.

Don't know if this chippy has been taken over but it used to be lovely and fresh but the last few times the chips are old dry and burnt and the fish I always order large is so thin it's like a thin slice of bread and when you're paying nearly £11 for it you want a decent sized piece. The battered sausages are not fresh and always over cooked aswell. With the prices of fish and chips now you expect fresh quality and decent size portions because all that happens is people just go elsewhere. What's more annoying I actually wrote "NO burnt food" in the comments sections this evening and everything all but the fish was old poor quality and overcooked. Shame used to be a nice chippy.

Kids and husband like this place's fish and chips, often rather generous portions for a reasonable price. I don't like going there as the staff/owners' customer service skills are non-existent. No smile, and it feels like they are forced to work there, no interaction apart from what I want to order.

Ordering to delivering seems to be getting later and later everytime I order. Food was fresh n still hot.
