Vincenzo's Fish And Chips in Stirling

Handy for the nearby Travelodge but didn't quite hit the mark for me. Both the chips and the fish batter needed to be more crisp. Curry sauce was spot on though.

Decent fish and chips and so near the Travelodge everything still red hot by the time I’d walked back to my room. A great choice if you don’t fancy a sit down restaurant meal. Plenty of choice on the menu.

We were staying in the area and wanted good Fish and Chips and Vincenzo's really didn't disappoint. We were a little confused over what supper was but assumed it meant 'with chips' and thankfully it was. On opening the boxes the chips didn't look quite as we had imagined but on tasting - the chips were the best we have had in a very long time and the batter on the fish/Sausages was light and not greasy. The price for 5 of us was £24 which included 10% off but even at full price it would have been good value. Two had the sausages and we were expected one battered sausage which is the norm where we live. Very surprised to see two long battered sausages. The portions were perfect - though I couldn't finish mine. However unlike normally where I toss the rest away, I happily munched on the rest later. Even warmed up the chips still tasted good. Whilst most of us had food we were used to, our son decided to try the Fried Pizza, something alien to us. But he enjoyed it and I'm sure he would happily have it again. Our only disappointment is that we live 500 miles away. But would definitely order again if in the area.
