Village Tandoori in South Lanarkshire

Food was great we used this establishment twice this week but annoyed that when spending £30.00 they want to charge 50p for separate sauce also dinner king kebab grandkids commented that there was more salad than meat. Most places when you spend over a certain ammount give things to encourage you to come back. Seems silly when spending a good ammou t to charge 50p for a little pot because sauce already paid for.

Fantastic food from this fairly new takeaway. They supplied the buffet for a 60th birthday party nearby.Veg and chicken pakora,various pizzas,chips,onion rings, halloumi fries.All delivered on time and piping hot.Chicken pakora was praised by quite a few guests and many asking where we got it.Good prices and friendly staff.Thoroughly recommended.

First time ordering from Village Tandoori on March 12th 2023. I Ordered a large chicken tikka kebab with an extra sauce & a 12" spicy chicken pizza. What can I say? First time ordering but it certainly wasn't the last. Chicken tikka kebab was absolutely delicious. Tender meat & lovely spicy sauce. The 12" spicy chicken pizza 🍕 didn't slack on the toppings it has to be said. From the edge of the crust right into the centre it was full of spicy chicken. Pizza even had a lovely taste of herby tomato base sauce. Lovely pizza indeed. My first meal was so good, I ordered again on March 17th. Two orders in a week says it all. This time I ordered large chicken pakora, tandoori naan bread, chilli sauce & another 12" spicy chicken pizza. Second order in a week & I asked if the chef could make my spicy chicken pizza spicy! My order was ready to collect within 15m & wow what a feast. The chicken pakora was the best I'd ever tasted but what blew me away was the pizza. I asked the chef to make it a bit spicier & it was 🔥🔥🔥 From the very first bite to the last, spicy from the crust right into the centre. Absolutely stunning, the chef very nearly caught me out with the spice on the pizza. Fantastic feast of delicious food on a Friday night, great portions & at a great price. Give Village Tandoori a try. They could very well be East Kilbride's best takeaway currently & that's not an accolade I give out lightly.
