Village Tandoori in Stirling

This was our 3rd time and you can tell it has gone down hill since the last time we ordered here. Small pizza, chicken kebab meal, and a donner wrap and chips was what we ordered - what could possible go wrong? Plenty… Checked the Chicken kebab when we got to the car to find it was heated up frozen chicken pieces in a pitta bread….. no salad? And when we questioned this we were asked “what kind did you expect…..?”. He added some sauce and some pickled cabbage to the kebab. Chips were missing and when we highlighted this to the guy behind the counter he abruptly said “well I didn’t charge you so you need to pay”, even though this was for chips HE forgot….. while all this was going on the pizza was going stone cold in the car while we waited. Got home 90% of food was cold apart from the portion of chips that had been forgotten about. To top it all off the donner kebab was absolutely atrocious, never ate anything like it before, and the chicken kebab had gone so soggy from all the sauce, that it fell to piece and both were fit for the bin. Cold chips and cold pizza and £30 paid!! Highly doubt we will be back.

We orde pizzas and chicken curry Nan bread chicken biryani’s.the food was so good tasty and delicious and staff was friendly I recommend it

We were overcharged for our food, and when we questioned it, we were told that we had ordered two large portions of chips instead of two regular, which we had not. When I said that's not what we ordered, I was basically called a liar. The man I spoke to was so rude and abrupt. The charge was unequivocally wrong, but we were made out to be liars. In addition to this, the food was abysmal. It was genuinely the worst curry I've ever had, and I'm not just saying that because I was ripped off and called a liar. I think it's the first time I've had a curry that didn't taste of anything! The whole thing ended up in the bin. I ordered a vegetable curry, the vegetables consisted of peas and potatoes, nothing else! I can't believe anyone would be happy to serve food that bad. It's embarrassing.

Food was awful takeaway £50 wasted. Frozen chicken chunks in korma couldn't eat them pakora was not edible think it may have been reheated.

Awful service. Ordered food for delivery and after 1hr 40 mins waiting, called and told food would be another 25 mins, hadn’t bothered to even start cooking food. Won’t be back, they must have so may customers they don’t care about service.they provide. Beware this could also happen to you.

made good fire fuel but not much else, it had enough grease to keep us warm for the rest of the night, wasn’t great food though..

I used to love going here. But I've just had to throw away £30 worth of food. It was cold and tasteless. The garlic pizza tasted like cardboard and the cheese burger had no taste even down to he chilli sauce. The chips were good. The kebabs only come with cabbage and onions for salad!!!!!

Everything here, pizza, Indian, burgers, wraps, to their mad take on a grogie - basically a sub, nan bread stuffed with everything, to curry on a pizza base, which tastes nicer than it sounds. Delivery was fast and they found us out in the sticks as well.

Just started using this place over the past year. Was put off by dodgy reviews, but after 3 separate takeaways over the last 9 months, all our meals have been very tasty, with no ill effects afterwards. Give the place a go, its good.

Indian, pizza and burgers on the menu. We went for Indian choices. Good vegetarian choices. Helpful delivery lady, food arrived at the specified time. Price was reasonable, portions generous, the food was hot and very tasty.

With the lockdown I couldn't hold a birthday party for my daughter and planned a family dinner. We decided to order a variety of food. I insisted that it's for children to use little spices and oils, instead food was very spicy. I called up for a replacement of food which was delivered nearly two hours later. My daughters birthday dinner was ruined by these morons and wont be ordering again. Should have stuck to frozen food.

This originally was a good establishment for a takeaway but since our last takeaway it has gone very much downhill

I ordered a home delivery due to the Covid 19 and my order was wrong, greasy, spicy. I called correcting to only get abuse. Week before I also made a delivery and meat was overcooked. Will never order from here again. This takeaway also has a lot of complaints. They also review themselves as excellent services. Men in this restaurant are also rude over phone.

Maybe during Covid they were short staffed or run off their feet but the food was disgusting. The popadoms were soft. The mixed starter was not fresh and soaked in grease. The 3 different main courses all had the same horrible tasting sauce !!. The lamb was inedible. I will never get a take away from this place again .

We've lived here over a year and have never had a takeaway, until tonight. They delivered rice with pizza instead of fries. Kids didn't enjoy the pizza, as the margarita was too spicy for them. I had to make something else. I am sorry to say I probably won't be ordering again. I had high hopes as they came recommended.

Phoned our order in this time and advised 45 minute wait. Popped down after 40 minutes and order was waiting for us. Meal was excellent and once again we would highly recommend

Popped in for a takeaway for Friday night meal. Varied selection of food for takeaway. It was very busy but I was served quickly. The food was excellent and I would highly recommend it if you're in the area
