Village Deli London in Camden

I had an oat latte, it tasted weird, and not of coffee!! I threw it away. I suspect the milk was old/off maybe or the brand was weird, ((the only oat milk for coffee is Oatly Barista. IMHO) Morrisons deliver it for £1.50 a carton)) I also noticed that the milk was fed to the machine through a syphon in a cold box and the cows milk was switched with the oat milk without cleaning in between. see this article https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/article/2024/aug/16/hannah-jacobs-died-from-sip-of-costa-coffee-drink-after-failure-to-follow-allergies-processes. So maybe find a better way use different milks. or ask about allergies Not impressed , sorry.

I never leave a bad review for anything but this was so bad that I just have to. If you enjoy eating an empty sandwich with just mayo and lettuce I would recommend this place. Got a BLT from here and I was looking forward to it for my lunch break and honestly one of the worst things I have ever had. Bacon was almost nonexistent just fat and even that was so salty that it was uneatable, I literally threw it in the bin after two bites of mayo and fat. Just want to add it's not the staffs fault, they looked super overworked.

Lovely little local deli with both hot and cold sandwiches, run by two very friendly and chatty ladies. Everything tastes fresh. Everything is very affordably priced. Fresh filter coffee and espresso based coffee too.

I had a delicious ‘Bacon, Brie and Cranberry’ panini with a latte for under £7! I was very happy with that given the location, there is a nice square to sit in with the food! The staff were friendly too which is always nice!

Could do better. Two women there over worked, struggling to keep up with orders.Third person required to make this run well. As they are rushing quality going down hill somewhat. Usually really nice.

The baguette sandwiches are really fresh and tasty. Very good value too (compared to the sandwiches in nearby chain coffee shops).

What a brilliant Deli. The ladies serving are amazing. The food is incredible and more than fair with pricing. A go to place for me when in Highgate and they will happily serve a sausage for your dog. :). Thank you Village Deli.

Good wholesome sandwiches, baguettes, paninis etc. Reasonably priced. Some soups are left wanting (eg. Potato and leek) but good overall.

Such a fantastic deli! They do a great job every time, lots of selection and good prices too.

Under new management and no longer serving food to diners however, it's got some great products and well worth checking out. Great cheeses and wines from France.

Absolutely love this place whenever I'm in North London always make sure I get something to eat from there with a wide range of roles sandwiches tea coffee cakes soft drinks foods lights and Motors hot dogs quiches I'm pretty sure you'll find something you like
