The place is incredible ,like travelling back in time to a proper Italian pizzeria . The service is exquisite, straight from Italy. The food is something else...I've been to a lot of pizzerias in London none of them even stands close to this one. Is not just the pizza , try the calamari, the dough on it is crazy good without absorbed oil , just something else. They are the dough masters ! Pizzas... Speechless, just speechless, the quality of products use...meaty porcini mushrooms and everything else is just wow wow wow , 5*. And I'm very critique with reviews. HANDS DOWN BEST PIZZA IN LONDON.

Absolutely delicious! Pizzeria Cozzaio is a great place. The pizza is fresh, flavourful and authentically Italian. The crust is perfect, the toppings are generous, and the staff are warm and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back!

Restaurants with a minimum spend are greedy. This place was way better like a year ago.

The team has put a lot of heart into this place and I wholeheartedly recommend this place as one of the best places to get Neapolitan pizza in London. I ordered a BUFALA and it was loaded with fresh basil, the tomoto sauce perfect, not to salty at all. Best of all it was wood fired not gas fired like other places. Its very authentic Neopolitan. And the espresso was served in true ristretto fashion. Appreciate. 25/05/2025: Place was completely full so got a takeaway instead. Was incredible quality (I attached a photo of it) and I am so impressed that even though the place was so busy, the quality of the pizza was made perfectly. Lavish amount of basil and not skimping on buffalo mozzarella. Love that and thank you.

Amazing pizza (Highly recommend trying the one with “friarielli”!). The place itself is nice and not too noisy (quite a small restaurant), and the service friendly and fast.

Good food, served quickly at a reasonable price. What is not to like?

The first day we ordered pizzas and they were so good but the second day we ordered meatballs and carbonara pasta and It was superspicy with lots of pepper, we had a hard time eating it. The desserts were good but the pistaccio Tiramisú was tasty and creamy. Service charge was 5,40 pounds.

I think this has been the best pizza I ever had. Lots of choices for toppings (additional cost with reasonable prices). Not from this area but if I would live more nearby I would definitely return.

I had a terrible experience here. The food was of very poor quality, and the customer service was even worse. The staff clearly didn’t care about customers or making things right. Definitely wouldn’t recommend—there are much better places that actually value their customers.

Make yourself a service and don't let it slip through your fingers this "lil Italy" beautiful restaurant. Here you will find the restaurant of a 2 young very polite brothers who will make sure that everything's going right for you, to feel and taste genuine pizza or Italian pasta. INSANE FOOD AND BEAUTIFUL SERVICE

Excellent pizza and very authentic with a proper large wood fire. Quite small inside, but cosy. Was quite busy, so service was a bit slow and could have been a bit friendlier.

The atmosphere was lovely just like our hosts. The lemon vines and the lovely kiln took us back to Italy! The pizza had a wonderful smoked flavour to it. Pasta was wonderful with distinct flavour of olives and handmade sauce. Love this place! Definitely recommend for a romantic evening dinner!

Always walk past this restaurant and hadn’t tried it yet, finally made a booking and was very surprised with how delicious it was. The staff were so nice and the atmosphere was great, reasonably priced food. The pasta portion was huge and the pizzas were made fresh and very delicious. lots of options for different dietary requirements as well.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently ordered two pizzas for takeout from Cozaio, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! I tried the Quattro Stagioni and the Quattro Formaggi, and both were absolutely amazing. The Quattro Stagioni was a delightful blend of flavors, each quarter offering a unique topping that complemented the others perfectly. It was a great way to experience a variety of tastes in one pizza. The ingredients were fresh, and the crust had just the right amount of crispiness. As for the Quattro Formaggi, it was a cheese lover’s dream come true! The rich, creamy cheeses melted together beautifully, creating a decadent and satisfying experience. Each bite was a heavenly indulgence. I’m definitely looking forward to ordering from Cozaio again! The quality of the pizzas and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Excellent pizza and dessert. My second time, I went with an Italian friend of mine that loves her food and can be quite fussy but she was so impressed and pleased. Great value for money as well. The lemon dessert had the best crème patisserie and the lightest sponge ever, was so delicate and exquisite. Definitely my place to go for pizza and desserts. The owners are so lovely too.

BEST MARINARA IN TOWN!! I know you think I am Indian, and my pizza standards are pretty low…but you are wrong, because I have spent 2 years and 10 months with two other Italians (one being my husband) looking for the best pizza in London. And yes, Cozaio’s Marinara, is the BEST MARINARA (if not pizza) IN LONDON. To be honest, I wish I had tried more stuff to be able to add to this review but I cannot seem to move on from the Marinara! PS: the only improvement I need? They need to open another place in Maida Vale (so that they are closer to us!)

It is a small place but with a lot of charm and a pleasant atmosphere 😌 They treated us very well and the pizzas are so delicious that they make you feel in Italy 😋 For dessert I tried the pistachio tirsamisu which was fresh and delicious! Highly recommended restaurant 👌🏼

Been here only once, but I will definitely go back again, I highly recommend. The restaurant is very nice and cozy, the pizza is authentically Italian and the toppings were generous; one of the best in London and the prices were absolutely well-proportioned. The staff also friendly and welcoming, good manners and always smiling. It was all amazing!!!

It's really delicious :) I finished it in 5 minutes. Anyone from Korea who wants to experience the real taste of Italy should visit. The boss is also very nice. My first visit to this store was about 30 minutes before the store closed. I left my wallet and said I would come back later, but there was a communication error due to my poor English skills, so I guess the owner had made it and was waiting for me. He said this during his second visit. I was truly sorry. But when I tried the pizza, it was so delicious that I regretted leaving my wallet behind. Be sure to go! p.s. Highly recommended fried squid!!

I went there twice during my holiday in London and I must say that the pizza is very good... sometimes not even in Italy are they so tasty. Pizzas made in a wood oven! Honest prices and in line with London costs but still lower than many other pizzerias I've seen. It's almost a shame to leave again and not be able to return for another excellent pizza

I ordered 2 pizzas from this place as it was recommended by some friends. I was impressed by the variety of options in the menu and honest prices and I tried a margherita and a "gorgonzola" with classic base plus red onions, salami Milano, gorgonzola cheese. It definitely exceeded my expectations - as an Italian, I can recognise the differences between pizzas and the quality of the ingredients. There is a lot of positives I would write about but let's focus on the main aspect: the actual dough. It was light, elastic, not too soft and not too crunchy but just perfect. The quality of the tomato sauce and cheese selected could be noticed at the first bite, and the way the ingredients melded together and with the base brought me back to my home country. I would highly recommend Cozaio for the value for money and the authenticity of a pizza that stands out from the mediocre pizzas made in London, but also from the few good ones.

As an Italian born and raised in Italy with a Neapolitan boyfriend, I am very particular about my pizza. That said, this pizzeria near Hampstead is one of the best in London. The food is of super high quality, and the pizza is very similar to typical Neapolitan pizza—fluffy with a high crust. The appetizers, especially the crostinis, are also super delicious. The restaurant itself is very nice, with correct pricing, and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I absolutely recommend trying it if you are near Hampstead!

Might be the best Italian pizza I've had in London, the cozy atmosphere is very soothing and the shop is not overcrowded but not empty. The only thing I regret is that I forgot to ask them what brand the olive oil is, it had a very distinctive taste and was very delicious. We ordered quattro fromage, bufala and calamari on the side. I would recommend all of them.

Great pizza and lasagna on Finchley Road! Had a lovely cozaio pizza which had truffle, but not too truffly which I prefer! The diavola was perfect, crisp bottom and nice ‘n spicy (would do again in a heartbeat!). The lasagna was tasty too, oh bechamel! Very friendly service and a lovely Sardinian beer was exactly what the doctor ordered on a Friday night. Will return!
