Food is really good I ordered, sheesh kebabs, with egg fried rice with spicy wing I definitely recommend to go here.

First time having food from the new owners and I would rename to SALT villa, Omg everything was so salty apart from the poppadoms that where just average.

Lovely food as always and a lovely owner always so polite and can’t do enough for you.

Consistent for 10+ years I've been using it. you get what you order, taste is spot on, food is good quality and portions do not disappoint. This is good value food. Note: when this place says mild they mean it (flavour is still 100% but with 0 heat), if you want it hot or extra hot just ask. They soon crank it up.

poppadom's stale today, chips were cold and curry was very watery, not the usual fantastic standard we have come to expect. Disappointed tonight.

Tried a delivery from this place. Never again. £47 for 2 people. Samosas were those mini buffet ones Onion bhajees not crispy, horrible. Curry's mediocre bit watery. Naan breads rubbery.... the worst was the mint sauce it made me heave....it was like thick curdled yogurt with fluorescent green colouring ... no mint . All the food was barely warm. Most went in the bin .

Upon receipt of the order, I regret to inform that several aspects of the meal did not meet our expectations and were unedible. The food arrived cold, with the king prawn found to be frozen upon inspection. Additionally, certain portions of the masala were inadequately heated, resulting in an inconsistent temperature. The naan bread appeared undercooked, requiring additional reheating. Everything had to be reheated. It is disheartening to note that recent deliveries have consistently fallen short of our usual experience. While we appreciate the prompt delivery, it is evident that allowing the meal to remain in your care for a longer duration could have potentially improved its overall quality.

Vila Spice has been my go-to spot for the best Indian cuisine in the area for the past four years, and I have never been disappointed. The food is consistently of excellent quality. Whether you're in the mood for a comforting classic or something new, the gaffer is always there with a smile, ready to suggest new items while expertly remembering your usual favourites. The restaurant is fantastic for both dining in and takeaways, offering great value without compromising on the quality or experience. The gaffer's sense of humor and the friendly atmosphere make every visit enjoyable. I can confidently say that after numerous visits over the years, I've never had a bad meal or a bad experience at Vila Spice. It's a true gem that continues to exceed expectations!

This was 1 month ago. Went with my veggie friend. They ordered a veggie samosa but got meat instead. We queried this and their meals were redone, however took longer after everyone else's had already arrived at the table. We'd finished when their redone meal arrived. When we paid, we asked if they could knock off any price from their meal due to the meat being delivered, and the subsequent correct meal being late. They argued against this, stating that it didn't matter that she ate meat? I don't see how this is any different to someone saying they're allergic to peanuts and their food being cooked in peanut oil. Or asking for halal meat and being served non halal. If you ask for certain dietary needs, these should be met. I will say they did (eventually) agree to knock some of the price off. Despite this, when we paid they were still trying to argue/defend instead of apologis. The man used the phrase 'mistakes happen'. Sorry but if 'mistakes happen' and you receive an allergen it's all ok according to this restaurant! :) Shocked they did this and never apologised, so disappointed for my friend. I'd advise going to a different curry house in great barr if you have any dietary requirements. Also read a reply to a review by someone named Imran and Megreen2610. The restaurants replies are so unprofessional and just mocking them. That's why I left it a month to write this review because evidently they dont listen to criticism. And if they reply to me I ain't gonna bother reading whatever nonsense they have to say, it's been a month - they had a chance to apologise and didn't. Go ahead and be petty. However, if you do want to take a review seriously - my advice would be to ask people when they book if anyone in their party has dietary requirements. This way the information is with you from the start and even if the restaurant is loud, the waiter can take note and double check if the order doesn't match dietary requirements. To quote your own reply to Imran - please learn from your silly mistakes. Been several times but this was pre covid. Must have different staff or new owners. Never visiting again after this. Dietary requirements not being met is not a simple mistake in the food industry, and it's disgusting they tried to argue it was.

The poppadoms were very chewy and not proper texture. Also the chicken tikka curry was poor quality for the curry sauce being watery and lumpy and was not nice at all. Also the naan bread was cold. Normally that would fill me up from any other Indian restaurant as I order the same every time, but the food was so bad that i had to have another meal afterwards since i was still very hungry. I don’t recommend to anyone as it was the worst Indian restaurant I have ever tried. Please don’t go here.

Excellent friendly service, great food

First time ordering here, Curry was very tasty, only thing that let it down was both the naan breads were significantly burnt in parts which meant we had to rip half of it off as wasn't edible.

First time here very impressed food delicious and tasty nice and hot too. good value for money we had the 5 course meal deal. We liked that we were asked how spicy we liked our curry. Loved the vegetable rice very tasty went very well with my chicken tikka sagawa. Service excellent the owner served us ( sorry don't know your name) really nice guy very pleasant nothing too much trouble. Will definately go there again.

Wow what can I say , went to Vila Spice restaurant last night for the first time. The food was Excellent , The service was Excellent, The atmosphere was Excellent & Amo & staff couldn't do more for you. Nothing was too much & the price's were exceptional. I will definitely be recommending it to family & friends. With the way cost of living is today 2023 , this restaurant & Amo put their customer's 1st & not profit. So you can still afford to have a meal out with family & friends. 10/10 to a wonderful little Indian restaurant , what a gem we have found. Well done Amo & staff .. Had a takeaway from here. Was pleasenlty surprised to the quality of food, asked for everything to be made home style and they really delivered. The Dahl is one of the best I have ever eaten from a takeaway, it taste like homemade not just generic restaruant one, and the jalfrezi was delicious with the tandoori chicken being very tender. The chutney tray was really nice too and the owner was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

Amo, the owner, takes great pride in the finer details. He really knows his customers' requirements. The food and service is extremely good value for money. These guys are amazing, I had booked to dine in and wasn't able to, so I had a takeout. Wow, wow, the food and service are fantastic. These guys really know what they are doing. I went to this place for my cousin birthday. It was my first time going there. The deco looks nice but I must tell you about my experience with the food and mainly the customer service. The staff could not communicate. The communication were very poor. They took our order and serve half of the order and the rest was out of stock. When we asked why would you still take our order when the most of stuff is out of stock. They had no answer. Ruined my cousin birthday as it was organised as a surprised. We barely ate food because our order was out of stock. Everything is overpriced even the samosa was £6.99 when you can get that from local kebabish for 99p with free salad and sauces. I I’ll never visit and highly recommend not to visit. I regret going as I could have done better at home myself then going to this place because it was time waste, money waste and embarrassment in front of my cousin. He was upset. It costed us £130 when I could do a whole month of groceries for this much money.

One of the best curry houses near Pheasey. Tasty good and amazing deals on the menu 👌🏼 Service is fabulous and the manager always does what he can to help you have a great experience.

One of our starters was burnt but they delivered a new one free of charge, without argument and were super polite. Unfortunately the food was only average but can’t fault the customer service.

Food arrived earlier than expected, but I have ordered from them before and been to the restaurant and the staff are fantastic always polite to customers, will definitely order again from them, great service, excellent value and great tasting food.

Fantastic restaurant! We have been many times to this little gem and they never fail to please. Beautiful food cooked to perfection every time! Fantastic meal, a bloomin brilliant Birmingham balti. Went to this establishment purely by chance and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The owner made us feel welcome and greeted us with the same warmth he greeted the regulars. If I ever find myself in the area, I'd be sure to go back and would recommend to anyone else to eat here.

Probably the worst Indian meal we’ve had. Chicken tikka masala didn’t taste like chicken tikka masala, chicken tikka starter was rock hard, naan tasted stale and old, chips weren’t cooked, just horrible.

What are some non-breads and starters and chicken tikka masala The Nan bread was very thick and horrible chicken tikka masala was very horrible. The chicken was uncooked. What’s wrong with the chef? It’s embarrassing to call him a chef and thunder chef. It’s not a very good to. Do you not go there till they have a better chef and a tandoori chef?

Very disappointed with the food, turned up late warm not hot also chicken balti had no flavour whats so ever and watery the chicken tikka masala no flavour either.
