Vieta in Harborough

We thought that we would try Vieta in Lutterworth as we had heard good things about the food and service. We thought that it could be a good venue to host our office Xmas function this year. We have been to most of the other restaurants around Lutterworth for our Xmas meals for years now. We arrived just after 8.00pm and asked for a table for two. The person on reception said that they would check with the kitchen (there were several vacant tables in the restaurant). We were then told that the kitchen is closed and that if we wanted a table we would to book it online. What a pity, we are not going to book this venue for our office Xmas meal for 24 now after that reception. We'll go back to one of the other venues that we have previously used as I'm sure we'll be received better there.

Had a lovely family meal . Great food great service . Will definitely return as the meal offers are too good not to come back for without the quality being compromised.

Really lovely setting and amazing food. 6 of us ate there last night for my Mums birthday. Couldn't fault any of the food we had. Steaks, Monkfish, Duck and Seabass. The service was great and staff were very professional and attentive. Drinks selection really good and not at all expensive. A really fabulous evening and such good value for money! Don't change a thing! We'll definitely be back!

Brilliant meal and value. Saw £20 for 3 courses, took a chance…and it was superb. Great food service and staff sp would certainly recommend this small restaurant to anyone. And I eat out a lot.

Superb service and outstanding VFM food. The steaks are amazing. Cooked perfectly. The black pudding scotch egg is terrific. Can't fault anything and 3 courses £20 incredibly.

Spotted Vieta on a social media sight, thought the price was good and the reviews kinda backed it up. Went on a Friday, booked in for 7:15, went for the 3 courses for £20.......great values i hear you say! To start we had the chicken and the black pudding, the chicken was a little bland but the black pudding scotch egg was good, runny egg. For main we had the chicken skewer and the ribeye, the steak has a £6 supplement. Again, the chicken was bland, the steak was very sinewy, should have sent it back really, chips and a pepper sauce, no choice on sauces. For desert a choice of pot puddings, went for the tiramisu and chocolate, both ok. The service was slow, we waited 35 to 45 mins for the starter, i get Friday is a busy time but it was a wait. The main was about right 15 mins after, i ordered the desert as soon as our main plates were cleared. Shame really but for £65....... I'll try Chieko's again.

Amazing food, fantastic value! The portions are big! But the taste and quality of the food is not compromised, and for 3 courses for £20 it’s unbelievable! The staff are extremely welcoming, really attentive and so friendly. I highly recommend the baked Alaska!

Superb! Every dish is amazing. The choice of dishes is fabulous and complement each other perfectly. Everything is cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Service was good and everywhere lovely and clean.

Not a great choice of menu and expensive, especially the drinks! Waited quite a while between courses. Not very warm upstairs!

Excellent Sunday Lunch for a special occasion, superb service at a very good price. Definitely recommend and will return.

We were a party of 10 for Sunday lunch .What a fabulous meal it was. Everyone was very impressed with the food and the slick service from the waitresses. I would highly recommend Vieta .

Lovely Valentine meal the duck and steak were perfect. The staff are young but lovely and the service was very good. First time we have been but will return book to try try the Sunday lunch.

Delicious! We stopped off here last night (Friday) as a mid-way point on a long drive for an early dinner (5.30pm). It exceeded our expectations. 3 courses for £20 proved EXCELLENT value for money. We had: Starters: - Beetroot, Goats Cheese (I think), & Walnut Salad - this was AMAZING - Sweet Chilli Chicken - loved it Mains: - Sirloin Steak with Dauphinois Potatoes - Delicious - Chicken Katsu Curry - Delicious Desserts: - Tiramisu - Delicious - Pannacotta - Delicious Highlight for me was definitely the Beetroot, Goats Cheese & Walnut Salad - loved it. Service was brilliant from the young team of staff - they were all really helpful and attentive. Particular mention to the young girl who served us when we arrived at 5.30pm, really lovely and made us feel so welcome.

We had a lovely evening , food was delicious and service excellent . Two of us had steaks and they were well cooked and tender, chips were lovely and crispy .

Worst meal I have had in years. No seasoning, pasta overcooked, chicken tasteless. Never going back.

One of the best places for food in lutterworth. Slow service for drinks. Limited choices on menu however the options are made with good quality ingredients Better to eat on the bottom floor quicker service than eating upstairs. I’d recommend the duck dish and chocolate creme brûlée. Beef rib was the best dish however they took it off the menu.

Me and my partner were staying locally, saw the good reviews and pictures online so paid a visit. We found when we arrived it was 3 courses for £20, which actually scared me a little… however, the food was amazing! I would have happily paid more! The portion size was better than expected, steak was cooked beautifully, my partners katsu curry had great reviews… all in all, extremely impressed. I would bet locally this is the best restaurant, even if it was 3 courses for £40!

3 courses for £20! Who’d have thought this would include steak! Delicious food, excellent service, nice ambiance. Will definitely be back.

We regularly have a takeaway from Vieta and they never disappoint. Food is always piping hot, good portion and full of flavour. Excellent value too

I went there multiple times and was always perfect. They have both meat and fish in the menù and they are really good. They have a 3 courses menù for 14£, best value for money in the area.

On a whim we went out to eat at Vieta tonight, only having had takeout before, during lockdown. We were seriously impressed with the quality of the menu, the food itself and it's execution. The vegetable side dishes were imaginative and tasty...which is rare...the starters...

During lock down we have used this new restaurant many times for take away. Food has always been excellent. Hot, fresh, good quality and generous portions. Now that it has opened inside we have also had afternoon tea which was fab.
