Food is always very tasty fresh and good portions not over priced and clean.fantastic family run chippy/Chinese takeaway with very friendly and happy staff the young lady that serves us always nice polite very chatty and very funny would definitely recommend.

The family who own this chippy are all nice and genuine people. However, the staff who work on the front are just plain rude and have no respect. The food is always great, just a shame I'm served by total idiots which clearly don't want to be there..

Chipped barely cooked, couldn't eat most of them. Gravy just tasted like an English chip shop gravy. Asked for boiled rice and got given egg fried rice. Wouldnt go back. Check your food before you leave.

Food is good . But the ATTITUDE of the GIRL behind the counter toward the people works with her is just horrible and stinks. She shouts and bangs like she owns them people . Very very wrong behaviour

Portions are huge compared to rivals for a cheaper price. Does just what you expect from a chinese, friendly staff.

Lovely food, always fresh, never had a bad meal. Portion sizes are good and not overpriced.

Tasty food with good portion sizes with decently quick serving time, standard chinese-style takeaway fare with good prices, just the location itself clearly hasn't had a spruce-up in some time, I don't blame them for it at all but it's there. Staff were perfectly friendly, though.

Foods always top quality massive portions and it's not expensive atall 25 quid will feed four people from here no problem

Im ok since I buy food late afternoon and my chips are freshly made not from the day before ( if you order them when the place is just opened, you may get chips from the day before).

Can’t even cook chips , literally rock solid should of just asked for a raw potato

Ordered a Chinese did have to wait an hour and half but was worth the wait actually came nice and hot as I thought it may have been cold with the waiting time on the food I was happy and really enjoyed the food.

Great Chinese takeaway. Excellent quality, variety, service, and value. Please ignore any 1 star reviews on the list they are liars. This business deserves all the 5 star reviews and more. Their salt and pepper chicken wings, ribs, and chips are all phenomenal!

By far the best Chinese I have been to.. the reviews I have read on here are old reviews from years ago but as of 2021 I have been here a few times the ribs are the best they also do really nice Chinese meals and you get lots for your money's worth. They have fish and chips which I love and also lots of pies and jumbo sausages etc they do curry and gravy and they are delicious. The food overall is outstanding as it's not bland it's very tasty. I would recommend giving this takeaway a try one thousand percent as it's full of flavour and the staff are wonderful. You can place an order over the phone which is quicker or you can walk in they also do deliveries. The only thing I would say is they need some kind of card payment system it would make things so much easier.

New owners are brilliant. Highly recommended the salt pepper box B, atleast 3 people can have a go and still have food left.

Excellent Chinese food who take into account food allergies.

Since changing hands the chips are now frozen chips and the curry taste like powder and the gravy is not the same. It’s a shame it was a really good chippy, now it’s just like the rest of the chippys around we don’t want “FROZEN CHIPS” we can get them from are freezers at home, bring back real chippy chips.

As under new management we have changed to Chinese takeaway, we do not sell Fish or pies. For English food we still have sausages, chicken nugettes, gravy, curry and chips(frozen) Delivery service available

Under new management and can honestly say it’s the worst chippy I’ve Eva eaten from!! Chips are frozen, also served raw!! Cold gravey , don’t sell pies or anything else!! Wownt be going there again 🤢🤢

Average chinese takeout to be quite honest. Got the house special fried rice which was underwhelming and the roast duck chow mein which ended up as a vermicheli which I don't mind as it was tasty. It is under new management I was told by surprised there was no takeout menu to hand out. I did also get the king prawn menu but have no had it but as most chinese takeout, the base is all the same so expecting same underwhelming experience. Will return only as a last resort but that's just my tastebuds talking.

Ok food. Chicken in Ok sauce had a powdery taste??..staff lovely and food order sorted quickly. Ribs in honey sauce were nice

I'm not usually a fan of chinese food barring a few dishes.having said that the ones I do like are excellent.i especially like the the crispy chilli beef and sweet and sour pork both with fried rice.the staff are very friendly and they deliver.the only downside is that you might have to wait a little while if your ordering chinese.the normal chippy side is very good as well.

Friendly family run Chinese take away, it does English chippy food too. Always fresh, quite quick when ordered for collection, wide menu caters for a lot of tastes and not expensive. Can get busy but that's through popularity.Nice Chinese take away this one deserves to do well, don't be put off by the slightly dated decor. One thing extra they could offer which would give it the 5 star rating -a delivery service.
