Venice Italian Restaurant in Sunderland

Terrible servicio, los vasos en los que nos sirvieron bebidas fueron reutilizados sin lavar ya que mi hermano consiguió mi vaso que tenía mi lápiz labial puesto... Rollo de cocina utilizado como servilleta, pidió una carta de vinos ... no tenía uno ... me mostró 3 botellas de vino muy barato ... así que no tenía ninguno ... tenía una Stella en su lugar ... regado ... nunca volverá

1st time here for most of us, went for a birthday meal with friends, the food & staff didn’t disappoint! Everyone said they’d be going back, nothing was too much trouble, the food was lovely with generous portions & reasonable prices & the service, friendly & efficient. Thank you for a great experience & making us feel so welcome. It’s a bit out of the way but well worth the trip down with the wine bars etc of the Sunniside area just a short walk away. 👍👍👍👍👍

Found through trip advisor and absolutely would recommend and go again when we visit again in three week. Gorgeous little gem of a place. Beautiful food. Staff great and superb place

Visited twice in a month. Everyone was very impressed with the food, staff, decor & cocktails. Nice choice on the menu, great portion sizes and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Amazing food amazing decor very unusual , food and deserts are beautiful and cocktails amazing too been here as a family a business meal and couple night with my husband it’s a all around welcoming environment in the city centre and central for all visitors and areas in Sunderland located not far from cinema and bars a must visit restaurant five stars xx

With a team of 10 very hungry athletes having just competed in a competition at the aquatics centre Venice Italian was a fantastic find. Fantastic staff, so accommodating and welcoming and the food was brilliant, delicious, good size portions and value for money too. A special thank you to Eva and Chole so friendly and helpful. If we compete in Sunderland again we will definitely come again. Highly recommend this restaurant for quality food and service.

The first time we went the food was very good. It was a bit slow receiving courses but overall we enjoyed it We went again and this time the food wasn't good at all and the service was poor. Haven't been back since

what a find! just arrived from out of town and stumbled across this place... can highly recommend :) plenty of choice and everything we ordered was delicious, well presented, ample portions & reasonably priced ;) on top of that service was excellent. Will definitely be back.

I contacted Venice to see if they could accommodate a large lunch order for our workplace and they were happy to do so despite not usually opening for dinner! The food was amazing, not a single item missing and everything was still hot, fresh and cooked to perfection. Will definitely order again!

Went for family Sunday lunch 3 adults and 1 toddler Roast dinners were beautiful, all veg was cooked perfectly, chicken Lamb and beef was first class, great service and surroundings 10/10

The food here is absolutely amazing! Have been for Italians and I must say it is the best one in Sunderland. Today I decided to try there Sunday dinners, I had beef and mam had pork and they did not disappoint. Best Sunday dinners I’ve ever had from a restaurant. Will 1 millions percent be coming back every week!
