Veggie Punjabi in Sandwell

I ordered 25 paratha which consisted of mooli and mixed . All the paratha were put in a box and foiled , when I got home and removed the top foil the paratha were all splitting and turning into mush, they stacked messy all the paratha on top of each other . I called the business and expressed my upset and was asked to send some pictures of the food which I did . The business acknowledged they made an error and asked for the mushy paratha to be returned and a refund will be given . I travelled all the way back to rood end road and handed the mush back and got a refund. The underlining reason was the paratha were not packed correctly , what a waste of food this was . Won’t be ordering again .

The aloo tikki was not as good as before. Petha was Haldiram rather than locally made. There is no option for smaller size. I’m disappointed. Won’t order again

worst chole bature …average food

The packaging of the samoses and Pakora need to be better the brown paper bags just rip when you try to take them out of the plastic bag. The steam makes the paper bags wet. Also i order Matriy I got more of the crumbs that are at left at the bottom of the container and the matriy that was at the bottom was greasy and tasted greasy to. The samosas where really salty. Normally there food is good but this time I don’t know what happened.

I Must be honest the samosas and spring rolls were really nice however they were fryed in oil that either hadn't been filtered or was due to be changed had they been fryed in cleaner oil they would have been much nicer. I will be going back there again I hope they can rectify this problem.

the food was horrible never again that I will order again my mum can cook all that 10 times better. the food tastes as if it was cooked from yesterday.

Chana were over spicy with red powder chilli bhature were greasy and hard the yogurt was really sour. Very disappointed.

I ordered from uber eats. They missed 2 items from the order. I called them to say they've done this, and they just kept passing the phone around to all the staff, each one said yh I messed up, but they didn't try to rectify the issue. Their service is very poor and they are very rude to deal with.

ordered malai kofta. The gravy was runny too watery with poor flavour and it was very spicy. The kofta were slightly mushy on the inside. I didn't finish my food.

The samosa were amazing, my dad loved this place and would always buy them from here so we ordered them for his wake so people could enjoy them as much as he did, it made the day so much more special

Bought samosas from here twice, they were all good and tasty, but the third time I ordered samosas I was given old ones because they tasted sour, felt like they fried old left overs, so not sure if I should go there again.

I was simply blown away with the amazing taste of spring roll and samosa I tried there, definitely the best spring roll I have tasted anywhere else. I must say lovely people behind this set up sweet and humble. I highly recommend veggie Punjabi for takeaway for your events or weekend gathering.

Today on visakhi day i ordered samosa spring roll jalebi and tikki and cham cham. They have disappointed me becoz all the food was cold like they made it two days before and Fatty Jalebi by the look you can tell uncle kept it in suitcase or something bro this place was good before. Please send as much stuff as you can for delivery. Had to throw it all away. And spend money again somewhere good thank you.

First time I oderded chole bhature from veggi punjabi and a pista falooda the chole bhautre was fine but the drink was so bad 👎 and then I thought to oder again I want to other things k oder Delhi momos the when I open my oder they all are open the veggies are out and the taste was so so bad and I also oder gazerellla they didn't send me then I called them they told we forgot to tell we don't have we will refund the food was so so bad i will never oder food from here I tried 2 times 👎👎👎👎

service was great . the chana was good. unfortunately the onion bhaji was burnt but they did give me 2 when paid for 1 . But both was burnt. hence a 3 star ratting.

The daal was too watery! No taste, the chole was again undercooked. Won't order ever again.

The mango lassi was really bad, it had a weird taste and I simply threw all of it. The matar paneer was tasteless.

Love the aloo parathas!! The saag was quite bitter and bland.

I was given smaller tubs of saag from last week and I paid the same amount for each tub. The yellow roti was dry it had no butter on the outside on either sides. Beson great, saag tasty.

We ordered to taste one spring roll and samosa spring roll was good without chillies... so we ordered 💯 spring rolls takeaway which was not the same one we ate ....thr filling had only mixed veg and little paneer and lots of red chillies....... Non of our children or the elders could eat them....party spoiled.... Very spicy....never going to go back to veggie Punjab....again

This place served delicious food, always was fresh. However, I would not recommend it for thoese with high suger levels. I wish luck for the future, If they improve I shall always come back cause the service was always top quality.

We visited veggie Punjabi whilst in the area, greeted by a very nice man, extremely helpful, polite and welcoming. Real home style vegetarian curries and an array of beautiful Indian sweets. Picked up a large order of samosas for a party- was hot and ready for my requested time, the place was nice and clean, the staff were friendly and the samosas were big and delicious. Well worth the money! Definitely recommend.

Samosas was fine But the pakora was the worse ive ever eaten Straight in the bin What a Waste of money!! I won't be going there again

We last had a takeaway from Veggie Punjabi on the 07/12/2021, we love the food so much this has become our favourite, go to takeaway! The food is cooked very well with a homemade style to it. I would and regular do recommend them. The only thing I would suggest an improvement on is the menu as you have to Google most of the food to find out what it is, due to lack of descriptions.

Ordered via deliveroo today and the food was soooo tasty! Dahi bhalla chaat, spring rolls were amazing. Haven't had the chole bhature yet but defo ordering from here onwards!! I've eaten at many different Indian shops in Smethwick but this was the best so far :D

Food came after 2 hours, we I called they told us a reason that was different to what they told to Deliveroo, Lies....Lies and Lies.

Bought palak pakora they were under cooked, I called the shop guy said come in 10 minutes They will cook fresh for me, i went and collected whe i came home open the bag the pakoras were burn i think they refried the leftovers, waste of time.

I just had some food delivered. I ordered the Papri Chaat, not a tub full of sauce speckled with potato. I was so disappointed and almost felt sick with how much sauce there was, it was filled to the brim. No chickpeas either which is what I enjoy. I should of researched more into the place before ordering. It was like a soupy potato salad. Sad.
