Utter Waffle Ltd in Kensington and Chelsea

Visited earlier this month and I honestly don’t know what the hype is about. The waffles themselves are bland and then just toppings. Nothing really worth writing home about. We arrived and met by a red head girl that didn’t really care about anything other than getting us in and then straight out again. We were sat in the front and packed in with very little room. Felt like the staff were just under pressure to get bums on seats and take our money with the lack of care and customer service. I don’t recommend trekking to Herne Hill for the experience.

WOW! This place was amazing. I am coeliac and the food was unbelievably good and the staff were amazing and reassuring with the menu. Best gluten free meal I have had out couldn’t recommend enough!

Delicious meal! One of the best gluten free and vegan breakfast restaurants by far. Great staff and cute location. Highly recommend the chicken and mozzarella waffle or the peanut butter and blueberry one.

What a fabulous brunch! I had the griddled peach and crisp bacon waffle, with a perfect proportion of blueberry and strawberries. The mozzarella and thyme filled waffle was also excellent and my son’s vegan option was delicious too. Highly recommend. We’ll be back!

Out of this world... considering I'm coeliac and have trouble finding gluten-free breakfast locations, this was a breath of fresh air. upon entering (booking needed) we were sat down with menus and given time to order, prompt ordering and serving we were in and out in under 30 mins. The food was amazing, the waffle was light crispy and fluffy inside. we had the main one with chicken and that was mind-blowing with the slight salad and sauces made a successful combination of flavours which means I'll definitely be back. 10/10 P.S. for those who are coeliac/celiacs the whole kitchen is a gluten free space.

Lovely waffles ruined by the army of ants marching along the back of the bench seats to and from where food and drinks were being served. Also…avoid the bathroom. It was pretty dingy, smelly and unpleasant. Barely a trickle of water came out of the tap! How they wash their crockery of hands is beyond me.

Surprisingly simple but it works; savoury, sweet, on a skewer, stuffed, nuts! We had lunch and shared a savoury waffle with chicken and then a sweet waffle laced with cream, white chocolate and other yummy bits (sadly was half the size of the savoury one, but we coped)! The place is always busy, so we joined a wait list that texted us in about 20 mins with a spot - very organised. Although once we HAD the table we sat watching waffles walked by for a while, before asking someone to come back and take our order. Bustling space is a testament to their yummy food and drinks. Check them out... we'll book in advance next time.

My friend and I decided to mix things up and venture away from our usual go to spot of Breakfast Club, and we are definitely glad we did. The chicken and waffles, recommended by their wonderful staff, didn’t disappoint! Despite having a range of ingredients and sweet/savoury tones in one dish, they married up really well (this was a real treat for the taste buds). Do book in advance as we assumed it was walk in only and was unable to get a sit down table. Just a note: it would be nice if maybe their dessert range could do taster options/mini style waffles as despite being tempted to try their deserts, the idea of another waffle after the main meal was too much. Utter Waffle in Herne Hill is a waffle lovers dream. I would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing food, I really enjoyed the waffles with fried chicken. It’s great to have something gluten free that tastes delicious and is so well presented. They’re really allergy conscious as well. I’d 100% go back again!

Incredibly well hosted for a table of 14, thank you to all staff involved. Very well organised, food was great and all came out at the same time which is tricky! We did the bottomless brunch and would recommend to anyone considering. Thanks again! Gluten free options were fantastic.

The tastiest food I’ve had in AGES! Went for a Christmas treat with my friend. The choices were incredible we wanted to try the whole menu. We took the recommendation of the waitress who suggested the double dipped eggs and a side of the chicken. Absolutely outstanding. Also had a chai latte - perfection. Couldn’t fault it. Clean restaurant. Funky decor. Can’t wait to visit again. 10/10.

Such a fabulous product. My chosen waffle was a savoury one with fried chicken and it was completely delicious. I would normally go for a sweet waffle but my companions persuaded me to try the chicken waffle it was amazing! The staff were so welcoming and friendly and restaurant has a fabulous atmosphere. I look forward to returning.

Been here on a number of occasions and also at their old site in west Ken. Food is always amazing, so nice as a celiac to not be missing out! They take allergies really seriously (one of the owners is celiac) so you know you are in safe hands. Would highly recommend the pizza waffle and the pesto one. Thanks for all the great food 🧇

Lovely light crisp savoury and sweet waffles served by friendly staff. Good range of meaty, vegetarian and vegan choices. A great local spot for a simple but very tasty lunch or brunch. Open for dinner on Friday and Saturday.
