Coco Momo Kensington in Kensington and Chelsea

We visited this restaurant on Saturday night before heading to the Royal Albert Hall, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. When we arrived, there was a queue at the door as it was quite busy, but we didn't mind waiting. Eventually, we were seated in a large dining room that added to a vibrant atmosphere. Food was full of flavour. Our waiter stood out for being friendly and accommodating, especially when it came to our quest with allergies. We will definitely be returning whenever we are in the area.

Im currently 8 months pregnant, I’ve walked in on a Saturday around 3:25pm, restaurant completely dead, no sign at the door of “wait to be seated”, no host around, found 2 members of staff talking around a table, we’ve walked in slowly no one came to speak with us, and then this waitress came to us super rude asking why we didn’t asked for a table? We’ve walked in without saying hello? This is my job or you guys job to assign a person to do this, after that he started mocking me because I have an English accent? Manager on duty gave me an answer saying “he was behind the bar”, while we have been disrespected in front of everyone. He could have address the issue in a nice way, but since there’s no host or sign at the door isn’t acc my fault for walking in, I wonder what this manager on duty was doing!

Nice place for drinks and Meeting friends

Nice lounge bar and restaurant. Good beers as well. I can highly recommend the Tongerlo draught beer.

A most enjoyable pre-show meal at the Cafe, our first time to eat there. Tasty, freshly cooked food at very reasonable prices and nice staff, too!

Discovered by chance on the first evening of our stay in London, we came back the next day as well because we enjoyed the cocktails, the welcome and the food! The prices are fair for the area and the quality of the products is top notch. To test with your eyes closed!

Great lunch booked online for 7, The table was already for us on our arrival. seated quickly and first drinks brought out promptly. We had an excellent selection of starters between us and the main courses were fairly priced for the location and excellent quality. Really recommend and the staff were excellent.

Luego Huevos Reales Británicos con huevos Burford British, Wyvern British salmón ahumado y un poco de piel en papas fritas todos merecen un elogio, una gran cocina clásica.

Coco Momo is an absolute gem! We went there just before the theatre, the best choice we could've made! Great service, not only fast but the waiters were kind and smiley, very polite. The food was very tasty and of great quality! We'll definitely be going back :)

A very pleasant dining experience. Clean and tidy restaurant. Friendly staff. And tasty food. We had one minor hiccup with Chorizo. It wasn’t to our liking and we pulled out a piece of bone / Cartilage. Fortunately, the waiter was extremely accommodating and brought us a different dish. I would also avoid the booths if you’re even remotely tall. Very cramped, as to be expected. Overall a good vibe and we would return and try some different food items.

We had a really lovely night at Coco Momo. The food and service was excellent. We got the french onion soup, honey chorizo and wings to start then the steak and steak sandwich for main. My girlfriend loved the steak sandwich and said she'd happily have it again. We then shared the hazelnut and chocolate cheesecake and finished the night with some drinks. Everything we ate and drank was excellent and our waiter Davor was very attentive. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to go out near Kensington.

We were looking for a place to try the typical fish and chips and we found this place with a very pleasant atmosphere and super attentive and friendly service. In addition, the food was very delicious, it is a highly recommended place.

More elegant than it needs to be, showing up without a booking was no worries for the host, and we were seated immediately. I enjoyed a Camden Town Brewery Stout with my Moving Mountain burger, while my partner loved a classic fish and chips with a Cornish orchards gold cider. Nothing says London desserts to me more than a sticky toffee pudding, the most perfect ratio of sauce to pudding. I would most definitely return!

Nice place for a drink or small meal you plan on finishing there. Was told last night that their policy is not to send home leftovers, even though you have purchased the food. Why? Because you may not reheat it correctly then blame them. What??? Have never heard such a thing and this is expensive restaurant. They fortunately ‘found” me a box for my linguine pasta, begrudgingly. Just be aware.

We went to Coco Momo for breakfast and it was delicious. The service is unobtrusive but continues to be accommodating. Your pan cakes were great.

Have been here before and the food is perfectly decent, but on this occasion the service was very slow and aloof to say the least. Mains took forever and starters came LATER. Totally unacceptable and they really didn't seem to care. That said, the steak burger was great and the prices here are reasonable. Probably won't return a third time though.

The food was great..I especially recommend the Cheesecake..it was chocolately richness to die for...leave space for it!

It seems that so many London restaurants these days have forgotten that a starter is a 'starter', not a side dish. But the concept seems lost, certainly at Coco Momo. I ordered a starter of french onion soup that took at least 30 mins to arrive and was not worth the wait. It was a bowl of unremarkable onion soup with one sorry cheesy crouton that seemed fossilised. The 'warm sourdough' was simply dry wheat bread (didn't get the sourdough bit) but barely had time to tuck into it as midway through eating my soup, the mains were served. In fairness, I had cancelled the soup after waiting 25 mins but I think a member of our party had asked them to bring it either way but still...it seemed pointless as it took forever to arrive and I didn't want the main to get cold. Turns out I might as well have finished the soup as the fries with my main were served stale and barely lukewarm. The buttermilk chicken sandwich was delicious and could have almost saved the day but it did little to make me forget the dreadfully slow but polite service.

Really lovely place with nice food. Only thing that left a slightly bitter taste - the way we were asked to leave. I understand there is a big party coming and you need the table but there are different ways to go about it

We visited for something to eat before a show at the royal albert hall. We all had different starters which was lovely. Then we all had the same main which was a turkey roast dinner at £20+ each, wasn't a great roast and I wouldn't order it again, but the starters made up for it. Staff were very attentive and friendly.

We had a lovely Sunday brunch here. Despite the place being super busy, our waiter was friendly, attentive, and helpful.

The website says “For tables of 9 and fewer choose from our December daily menu… or alternatively dine from our 2/3 course festive menu…simply make a booking… no preorders required, choose what you’d like to eat on the day”. So we were a table of 9 we arrived to our booking and were told we could not have the festive menu as it needs to be preordered. The website clearly states we do not have to and also gave us no option to. Because of this our 2 veggie friends did not have a meal due to lack of veggie options, they had to watch us eat as it was a Sunday and obviously everywhere else was fully booked. They then went home immediately after as they were hungry. This ruined our yearly meet up to which some of us travelled over an hour for. Extremely disappointing especially when we showed the manager his website and he still told us we had to preorder. To top it off id rate the turkey dinner 4/10, very unimpressed. I don’t normally leave reviews as i understand from previous experience what it can be like to work in this sector but this could not go unnoticed. Either update the website or deliver the service that you advertise.

Probably the worst brunning and price I've been to but still more than adequate.

I am currently sitting outside. I have been here since 5pm. It’s now 5.51pm. Not one person has come outside to ask us if we want to order anything. I don’t think I’ve ever even imagined worse customer service than not even being acknowledged. Sadly, this happened before and I thought that it couldn’t possible happen again. Seeing the chefs at work is great theatre, but when you see panic in their eyes alarm bells ring - and in this case it wasn't totally his fault, poor guy. There were so many plates on the pass that he had nowhere to put the one in his hand. They started off very polite and lovely, but the front of house were either so understaffed or so overwhelmed that they couldn't get the dishes out to customers in time. They never finished taking away our empty plates from the first course, so we were eating our mains with them crowding our table. Nobody asked us how our food was, so I was only able to tell them that my fondant potatoes were solid, dry, and tasting of chlorine when I was already finished. No replacement or alternative was offered, so I was hungry. We were wondering why my son wasn't eating his burger, but when we opened it up it was a burned mess, not even a whole burger (picture attached). And when we finally were able to get someone's attention for the bill we waited so long to make the payment one of our party had to leave, and we eventually had to get up and find someone to pay. The food itself was ok, my family said "nice" with those kind of downturned mouth corners and pouty bottom lip that mean "take it or leave it". I think I was particularly unlucky, my french onion soup was basically lightly caramelised onions in cornflour thickener. The Halibut was well cooked, but a fairly bland dish with a sauce that I couldn't identify the flavour of without looking twice at the menu. Overall Coco Momo seems to be another one of these places that are all investor money with the AI semblance of what is "supposed" to be in a restaurant, but no real love in the recipes or organising the staff into a cohesive team.

Had a wonderful breakfast at Coco Momo. All the produce was of a very high standard and tasted delicious.

We have visited this restaurant before and found it very warm and welcoming. On our return this week they seem to be incredibly shortstaffed. We stood around before anybody took any notice of us. Our order was placed quite quickly but then came the wait for drinks when the food arrived, we ordered more drinks and I asked for mayonnaise, these took ages to come. I didn’t receive the mayonnaise until I almost finished my meal. I had looked around to get his attention, but honestly he was so busy we both had burgers which were nice as stated before. The bottom of the buns were very soggy. If the service had been quicker, we would’ve had dessert as well, but I had to get to the Royal Albert Hall I do like this restaurant and the food and drink is fine, but they really do need more staff for the staff sake as well as the customers

High expectations having read reviews and looked at other restaurants in the area. Unfortunately it didn't really live up to expectations. We had booked for 5 o'clock and arrived on time. The two youngsters on the desk looked at us as if we had wandered in off the street to the wrong place. We were briskly taken to a table right at the back of the restaurant, OK it had an interesting view of the mews out of the large picture window. Menus were offered without any pleasantries, both staff looked a bit stressed and busy. Then, having chosen, there was the problem of attracting the young waitresses attention to order. She did finally appear down our end of the restaurant and took our orders. My buttermilk chicken was OK, hot and well cooked spoilt a bit by the black char on one of the pieces. I was concerned that the promised sriracha mayo would be a bit hot but in the event I couldn't even detect anything other than mayonnaise. The bun was a tale of two halves. The bottom was flat, chewy and soggy whereas the top was bouncy, fluffy again with a nice black char on the top. My wife had the burger and fries. The burger was dense, dry and pretty flavourless by all accounts and the bun was the same story as mine. OK the fries were good but who can't drop some packet fries in a deep fat fryer? The chocolate hazelnut cheesecake with ice cream was pretty good really, the highlight of an otherwise disappointing meal. The espressos were just about warm having being served in cold cups, but hey that happens at the Savoy grill too!. We eventually attracted the waitress attention for the bill and to her credit she brought it and the payment device so avoiding another long wait in the shadows.

Very good brunch but quite strange system, the kitchens close for 30 minutes in the middle, and the cocktails (bloody mary) are not served after a certain time

Been there 2 times this week for breakfast, good decent food and service. Staff is ready to help you out with your wishes, if you don't like the classic full English breakfast. They are open to any of your suggestions.

I have visited this place twice and the food and coffee have always been excellent and very reasonably priced for London. Had the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with rye bread, very nice almost as good as mine 😀

I often eat at Coco Momo when I am in the area. They have a nice range of starters and mains and I have always found the staff to be pleasant. I usually sit on one of the benches by the window and watch the world go by, but they have a range of different seating options with some more private tables further inside. I don't drink but there seems to be an extensive bar, I often see people popping in for a glass of wine or couples on a first date there. 5 minute walk from the Royal Albert Hall, so an ideal place for a pre-concert meal or drink. I am sure I will return soon.

Booked to come to Coco Momo for dinner before going g to The Royal Albert Hall. The atmosphere in the dining area is lovely and calm. The service and staff are so welcoming and attentive and you do not wait long for food or drinks. The gluten free range is amazing and the Fish and Chips gluten free were the best I have had! Thank you and thoroughly recommend!

A little gem in my neighborhood :) You can have super chill moments here, whether by yourself or with friends. The service is great, and I prefer the chai tea. The tea leaves give it a more authentic taste and make it healthier. I would love to come back with friends to try the brunch here.

Recently attended a concert at the Royal Albert Hall and unfortunately hadn’t booked anywhere for dinner. We were lucky to get a table here as other restaurants were full. Limited vegetarian offering and I opted for the goats cheese salad which was fine (nice citrus dressing), some bread on the side would have been good. The croque was served with chips and salad and was ok. A glass of wine and a pricy bottle of water brought the bill to £48. An automatic 12.5% service charge is added Seems like a nice enough place and was busy (because of the concet?).

Saw the great reviews and were excited to try. So disappointed. Out of fish and chips. Ended up with Onglet for wife and pan fried sea bass. Onglet was nearly inedible. Sea bass was ok. Server started out great and then went on break (I guess) and didn’t make an appearance for 20 minutes and when she did she never came by our table. Might have just been a bad night for her. Very nice atmosphere inside. Maybe just picked the wrong items on the wrong day.

Nice little place in south Kensington. Varied and refined menu (for being in England) Well-executed dishes, excellent wine. Espresso coffee to improve. Excellent and attentive service, beautiful room and tasteful furnishings, even the bathrooms are nice and equipped although uncomfortable due to the stairs. It offers various environments which also allows you to have a bit of privacy. The location is good, a stone's throw from the Total Albert Hall

We had a very pleasant dinner here. The menu is diverse, including in terms of the size of an item so you can mix and match. We started with a liver pate which was flavorful and enough for two if one wanted just a small starter. Both our dishes were very good and generous. The crocque monsieur was enormous and flavorful. My pasta with shrimp boasted a sauce made by a real person using fresh tomatoes and including some slivered mildly hot red pepper, had perfectly cooked linguine, and an abundance of shrimp. Wines by the class come in small, medium and large sizes. The medium was ample for each of us, and the chenin blanc and chardnnay we have were each quite good. Service cannot be described as especially attentive, but was friendly and got the job done. We look forward to returning.

I ordered the chicken Caesar salad. The dressing was nice but unfortunately the chicken tasted horrible as well as being really tough and overcooked. Another member of my table had the battered fish and chips and this was comparatively a lot more tasty!

The bartender was rude, it was late, he seemed tired or angry... the food was delicious, the waitress was very nice

Outstanding service, cool atmosphere, and classic English fare coupled with reconnecting with an old mate made this a wonderful experience. The traditional dishes and perfectly brewed tea transport you straight to the heart of Britain ;)

Sorry. While selling point on these super fancy eggs with amazing yolks. Best in London blah blah. No good. Over cooked. No yolk and when pointed out this gross injustice upon their super special eggs being served in sick a way. I get a story if we do it again next time we will redo the dish. Not good enough when paying top prices for a special product. Doesn't get served as it is supposed to. Should be free. The order was for a premium runny yolk as menu described. And I get a yellow rock encased in egg white. Don't get me started on the smashed avocado. Direct from a cold Tupperware container out of fridge. Was unnaturally cold avocado on toast. No fun and made dish seem stupid sorry. All dressed up to be a fancy place but no quality part the fancy curtains

We can to visit London and we came here for dinner and it was so good the service is great and there was so much variety my favourite was one of the small plates. The buffalo chicken wings were the best wings I have ever had and the buffalo sauce was so good, it wasn’t to spicy but not too mild and had so much flavour this was by far the best chicken I have ever had

One of the best caeser salads I've ever had! The perfect place to sit outside for lunch, and you can get a lovely bottle of Viognier for only £28.50. The only downside is that there was only one server and our food was brought out before the wine. However the server was apologetic and efficient! Overall would recommend for a decently priced lunch in Kensington.

The place is so lovely. We had the stake burger, wings, and king pawns.

We were greeted and seated quickly on a slow morning. It took a little bit for our server to come over and he seemed pretty reserved / quiet. We ordered Eggs Florentine and an English breakfast. The food was fine; nothing unexpected (good or bad). Prices were a bit high but we did expect that. The server never came back to check on us. Another person delivered our food and when we finished, we waited 20 minutes or so for our bill and ended up going up to ask for it. Not a dazzling experience unfortunately, but not too bad.

Following reviews on Google Maps we visited for dinner. The restaurant did not disappoint. Lovely gluten free fish and chips. The waitress was attentive and food was served in a timely fashion. We would visit again.

It was beautiful, and everything was great. Our waiter was a nice gentleman who was very sharp and energetic. I highly recommend it for breakfast for two or even groups. One thing I want to add is that for hot weather, AC would be nice.

Best breakfast ever!!! Such a lovely vibe cafe and the food was soooo delicious. We had avocado on sourdough and added bacon, the bread was such a nice sourdough and I’ve never seen somewhere give so much avocado! Would 100% recommend and come back

My friend and I have a tradition where we have breakfast in whatever city we meet in. Coco Momo was near her hotel. The eggs were beautifully soft scrambled the way I ask for and like them. The whole English breakfast was delicious. The service was slow (bringing the food), however they were very busy and we had time.

It is better if you book a table before you go we tried egg benedict and royal eggs delicious

Great pancakes - small was enough me for (3 pancakes). Lovely smooth coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice and hubby had full English which was superb he said. Very good customer service as well. Thanks guys great end to our visit from Dorset
