Urban-Ita in Sheffield

I love this place it’s another of our Sheffield coffee favourites. The young lady who is front of house has the most lovely manner. Be warned if you come for a cuppa you will take one look at the food and you will have to try it. You will return for the wonderful Italian sausage!

Love this cafe:-) Really friendly - great if you are on your own. Had a coffee - excellent- while I waited for a pasta dish to take away. Delicious and more than enough for 2 meals! Will definitely be back.

We have been at Urban-Ita many times but we're always amazed by the quality of the food and the atmosphere! It is indeed one of the best restaurants in Sheffield

This is actually quite a nice friendly cafe. However this was our second visit here and we were disappointed to be told that we couldn’t have the food we wanted as the dough wasn’t ready! Come on Urban ita sort your dough out this is the second time the dough hasn’t been ready. During the time we were there several people came in and were told the same thing when they tried to order. Clearly the dough items are what we all want. Hopefully the dough WILL be ready on our next visit.

Great place to relax and enjoy a excellent breakfast, brunch or lunch. Good quality coffee and an amazing service. An amazing gem.

Urban-ita is a cozy caffe with a vibrant artsy decor We had the Pizza Diavola and the Pizza Napoli I truly recommend this place if you want to have an authentic Italian experience :)

Unbelievable! The best place where you can have proper italian food. AND their pizza are super. The dough of their pizza is by far the best in sheffield. By far. No one else comes even closer. And we like both ilaria and Ale…. Pls pls open more often in the evening as well! Ciao e a presto

As an italian I have to say this is the most authentic restaurant in the city. Great food,amazing presentation,the best espresso one can possibly find and lovely staff! Well done guys!!

Wow just Wow! First visit was with friends on a Saturday afternoon in December, the bruschetta was the best I’ve tasted and the pasta dish was excellent, (it’s also ‘bring your own wine’ always a plus) and second visit was this month for breakfast, the Italian breakfast was to die for and coffee fantastic. The service impeccable, so accommodating and friendly. The best Italian in Sheffield!

It’s simply the best place for summat to eat in the area…the service is exceptional…how she does it I really don’t know

Cannot think of a single negative thing to say about the place…the food is as fresh as it can be, tasty and authentic…the service is exceptional….we’re always made to feel like we’re friends….enough of this, just GO and try it

We have been to this cafe a number of times. It’s one of those incredibly comfortable places! fabulous robust coffee! of course Yorkshire Tea! Proper Italian food and simply a wonderful atmosphere with good food and nice drinks!

Went last Friday for their monthly bistro night and it was fantastic! 7 fabulous courses,outstanding food quality,presentation and flavours. Finally a modern interpretation of Italian food in a city full of dated Italian restaurant! Overall really enjoyed a fine dining experience of really high level...

We had two mains and the food was amazing. The coffee is the best that I have tried in Sheffield and there is a very friendly atmosphere. Highly reccomended!

Went to urban-Ita for lunch this week and was really impressed. The lady working was very welcoming and kind. We both had pizzas. Mine was absolutely delicious best pizza I’ve had in Sheffield! Will definately be back again! The rest of the food looked delicious!

Best vegan panino I can remember. Lovely bread baked by them and delicious roast veg, artichoke and rocket with a lake of olive oil. Bloody delicious!

I have to say this little cafe offers the best food and coffee in the whole abbeydale area,quality,flavors,presentation all amazing! New favorite spot!

Just had amazing vegan brunch here. Service friendly and efficient. Food 100% delicious. Casual relaxed cafe. Treated myself to delicious cheesecake (non vegan). I really would be happy eating there every day, food do tasty.

I'm almost reluctant to write this review, as Urban-ita is a hidden gem, just a few doors down from the Forge Bake house. You will find a gathering of gentleman often sat outside enjoying an espresso chatting away in Italian which, adds to the authenticity...

A lovely vibe and great service. Although there isn't a huge vegan range, you can mix and match and nothing is too much trouble. Gorgeous fresh bread and coffee too.

We’ve been past so many times and it looks so small from the outside you’d almost miss it. Super cute on the inside with a lovely Italian feel. We went for breakfast and the prices were reasonable for the huge portions you got. Everything was...

Where to start? Lovely staff and absolutely amazing food. So good it gave us flashbacks to our Sorrento honeymoon and we will definitely be coming back
