Friendly staff and decent quality food, can’t fault them

The baguette I bought was stale and too hard to eat. Very disappointed.

Just had the worst experience there, 10 minutes ago. I was rushing for my train and I told the guy on the counter that I just want a cinnamon bun, and they were displayed just in front of me and him. He asked me to confirm that I want a cinnamon bun, then he asked me about allergies, then if that's all, while I just wanted to hurry up and get on the train. Meanwhile, he was preparing my order, but in a way that I cannot see his hands. Putting it nicely in a paper bag, folding it more than necessary, then I just paid, grabbed it and left quickly. I just boarded my train, I open my paper bag, anticipating my nice cinnamon bun, and.... It's some badly looking chocolate brownie... I ate it with disgust, just for the money I spent, and I'm still cursing the guy... Now I recall he was looking sneakily at me all the time, while asking me countless questions, while seeing that I need to leave quickly...

I've checked them with TGTG. I was give morning baguettes containing bacon and eggs. Food was ok, nothing special about it, but not bad either. Service was nice and quick, no waiting time, so great for travellers. I would come back.

£7.20 for a bottle of water and a double oat macchiato, was definitely overcharged, £1.10+ extra for a tiny bit of oat in an espresso, insane price gouging, I was expecting in the £6 region for a mainline station these days but this is crazy especially with an unfriendly welcome and service

I was passing through Euston and wanted a quick bite to eat, opted for something I regularly eat which is a tuna baguette and a coffee. It tasted of lemon once I tried it and went back to the lady and asked if the tuna baguette had lemon in it, she gave me a rude glare and said yes. Really hard to eat, it should be advertised as having a lot of lemon in

Smoked salmon sandwich was full of skin and gristle, £6 for poor quality ingredients. Unbelievable, it was inedible.

Lemon taste with my tuna baguette. Not nice at all especially for £5.59. Note this would have been dangerous if I was allergic to lemons as it was stated in the ingredients list that there is lemons in here.

I went to this baguette shop yesterday at lunch time and received horrible service from the workers there. Firstly, the roof of my mouth swells up horribly if I eat foods which are too hard, so I wanted to make sure that the baguettes they sold wouldn’t be really hard (like Greggs for example). I asked the woman who was serving me whether the baguette was hard and she replied that it wasn’t hot. Clearly she’d misheard what I said, which is fine, so I repeated myself, this time asking whether it was “hard or soft”. She still did not understand what I’d said and told me again that it was not hot. This went on for a few more minutes, until I physically enunciated my words like I was speaking to a toddler, and finally she understood. I do not have even a hint of a foreign accent, I believe I speak with a very regular, proper British accent which reflects the environment in which I grew up in. I don’t know why she couldn’t understand what I’d said, but that isn’t the problem. I wanted a coffee, and I’m very specific about how I have my coffee. Since I understand that my order can be a bit of a mouthful, I like to ask for it step by step, in order to ensure that shops are able to cater to my requests. Firstly I asked whether they served iced lattes, which she said that they did, then I asked if I could have caramel syrup added to it. At this point, she and her coworker turned to each other and began giving each other judgy-looks regarding my order. She replies that they can add caramel syrup, then I continue to ask whether they have any milk alternatives to which she replies oat or soya and I ask for soya. This whole time while I’m asking about milks, she and her coworkers are looking at each other and sniggering. I don’t think I’ve asked for anything ridiculous. These are all things that are on the menu and provided by the store. Their job is literally to package up pre-made baguettes, and MAKE COFFEE. In my option, all I’ve asked for is caramel syrup to be added to my coffee - they would have had to add some sort of milk to it either way. I have never been to another coffee shop of any kind ever and had service as horrible as this.

I was served by Manpreet and Ann who were able to make amendments to my order. I asked for Chicken to be added to my Avocado and Egg sandwich and they happily obliged. Picked up too good to go meal. Served by Hampi. Excellent service and the sandwiches were super yummy. Also had a Pain aux raisin which was also great. Highly recommend if you’re passing by Euston and need something fresh.
