Coffee was good but the girl that served was not very friendly and looked like she would rather be somewhere else

Utterly disgraceful and outrageous price gouging. £3 for a small juice! And the coffee is rank. Poor quality dish water tasting coffee. Actual thieves and robbers. Whoever runs this franchise unit should be utterly ashamed. They're not, but they should be. Also highly sus that nearly all the supposed 5 star reviews are all from people with no or very little Google reviews history. I think someone is getting friends and staff to submit reviews.

The fat lady with the glasses yelled at me and got rude with me because I asked for non-fat milk 2 seconds before she started the coffee. I'm disappointed with the staffing by hiring somebody who needs to give customer service but can't. I'm not coming ever again to this franchise.

Terrible store. No plain baguettes. All contained Mayo or pesto. No milk left for tea. Tables dirty and sticky. Staff unfriendly and sour. Won’t be back.

Kyle the Team Leader in Lanyon Station was serving me a pint of Orchard Thieves Apple Cider and was very friendly, polite and is a credit to the Upper Crust brand/company and should deserve a bonus or pay rise.

Fastest and tastiest caramel latte I've ever had 🤩 seemed to be just one gentleman working but he was friendly and so quick!

Sandwich chain offering breakfast and lunch. Also has a small bar attached, a particularly soulless example of a pub even for a train station. Food isn't great and prices are high.

Always great service, very nice coffee and friendly staff especially from niamh today as I came in and she advised card machine was broke and I didn't have cash( I can't function without coffee in morning 🤣) but niamh went above and beyond and advised cause I'm a regular to not worry about it and gave me my coffee and told me to pay for it when I'm next in. Always great service from her with a smile.

Nice selection of pastries and baguettes. Crisps were a bit dear but excellent service. Courtney was a wee angel. I'll stop in again the next time I'm having a day out.

Can't say much about Upper Crust but the fella with the beard who works there is absolutely first rate. What a guy.

Popped in to Upper Crust whilst waiting for my train and was really, really pleased with the food and service. Having the TV on with reruns of Frasier broke up the hustle and bustle of people moving about nearby which can't always be helped but I feel it made a difference. Tamlyn was super helpful and pleasant and Niamh made a great flat white which was just what I needed before my journey. Will definitely pop in again when I can.

Quality of the food is fabulous, most of the staff are pleasant & competent - prices are steep, but unfortunately that is to be expected in a train station. There is one young girl in particular who is always smiling and helpful. I think the people giving 1 star got a very bad day or maybe are confusing the place with somewhere else!

Black Coffee tastes like cardboard, couldnt finish it.

Tamlyn was so lovely, a breath of fresh air! So friendly and bubbly

Really good cafe! I’m in a couple of times a week since I have a bit of a wait between my train and bus to get to work and the staff are always so friendly- for example, I was served by Tamlyn today and she’s always really happy!

Great wee place for when you’re waiting on your train or just off your train, lovely staff and some good food! Not a bad word at all to say about the place, if you’re in lanyon waiting on your train and looking to kill some time i’d definitely give it a try :)

I personally love this place and are definitely a regular! At lease 2/3 times a week . The chicken pesto beget is my favourite and a cappuccino with almond milk and two pumps of vanilla. Great start to my day ! Highly recommend you give it a try . And if your in the train station support the smaller buisness it’s worth it

Really lovely staff, decent selection of tasty pastries with possibly the worst coffee you’ll find. Whole place is quite tired and really needs a bit of a refurb but it’s kept really well and there are much worse place to wait for a train.

Staff are always lovely . Place is mostly clean . Slightly over prices . I still visit weekly as the coffee is good and it’s convenient on my way to work
