The original and best. Food always delivered hot and fresh. Truly the best takeaway pizza in shildon it's been our regular for years.

Late meal, stopped off for a bit of a treat. Shared a pizza which was delicious, chips were equally cooked to perfection. Will definitely be ordering again.

One of the best takeaways around food was brilliant had a Shish wrap with donner and chips were fresh and owner on the phone knew how to talk to his customers would 100% recommend to anyone

So friendly and polite start to finish couldn't fault anything food pricey but definitely worth paying the extra little bit delivery price bit steap but again quality makes up

I am wanting to respond to the review left my Mr Hindmarch. First I would like to say I am sorry that you were so poorly. Do you have evidence that supports your illness was caused by food served from Unique Pizza? If not are you aware that your review is slanderous?

I got a kebab one Friday night ..on the the following Sunday I was admitted to hospital with compactile bacteria cross contamination...environmental health were notified ....to make matters worse I have stage 4 lung cancer ,the food poisoning was from this pizza shop I will never visit this shop again,

Tried pizzas yesterday for the first time, one bbq chicken and one chicken Kiev, really really nice pizzas. The deal we got for £15 was 2 medium pizzas, chips, 8” garlic bread and 2 cans of Pepsi was well worth it. Would definitely be coming back thank you

Ordered a parmo calzone and the parmo was burnt and as hard as nails and chips were reheated ones I wouldn't care I order all the time never had it this bad before

New Delivery boy was very nice! He was super nice and I tipped him a good £2! This was a while ago but the boy is very nice I'm glad the shops got hope again.

That is not a chicken burger more like a processed piece of chicken that you can get 8 pieces for less than 2quid in Asda .The food is beyond human consumption plus dripping with grease if you eat here stock up on toilet paper cause you will need it plus get some diarrhoea tablets .no food hygiene certificate and no PPE dirty shop dirty servers rank beyond belief I'd get a refund but don't know where there hands have been

Pizzas are spot on. Been using these quite a bit since the start of lockdown since my usual went downhill, the pizzas are always nice, piping hot with nice melting cheese instead of cold rubber like some places. Always on time or earlier.

Lock down or not the food was vile been ordering here for years this is the worst its been......

I haven't been for a long time. There were more staff behind the counter than there used to be but they seemed very disorganised in how they worked. I noticed that something had been missed from my order and this was rectified. Unfortunately when I got home I realised that i'd been given salad instead of chips with a meal that I'd asked to have no salad. A second meal with chicken had been over cooked to the point that even my cats wouldn't eat it. Very dissapionted. Won't be using again.

Me and brother ordered a delivery and didn't bring what we asked. They took it back and came again and still didn't have what we ordered. Disgusted do not order from this place!

Delivered wrong food first time, written down order on a piece of paper to the delivery women and they came back again with the wrong order. Accusing me of saying I orderes the food that they delivered, will NOT order again and I suggest you don't either!

Had a few takeaways from here and always been good up till tonight. Ordered two different wraps and extra chips. Delivery very quick. Wife’s wrap she said was good but I ordered special wrap ( chicken and Donna ) which had no Donna meat in it , very little chicken and loads of dry spices inside. Not good. Pointless complaining. 👎

Used to be good now very mediocre,always late delivery and sometimes warm not hot,complained few times now so ordering elsewhere now frydays jubilee cresent much better giving 2stars for old times sake

Food always good, meals made as you order so really fresh, vegetables & chips are all freshly cooked, no frozen food, well worth a visit, not open for lunches, except on Sundays, when they have very tastey Roasts with vegetables, very reasonable prices,, x.

We always get food delivered from here if we fancy pizza's kebabs etc., Their kebab meat is never greasy and their garlic bread is beautiful.

Absolutely love the pizzas from here. We live in London now but whenever we come back to visit family we always order from unique pizza. The vegetarian special is really delicious and in our opinion the pizzas are nicer than domino's. Would heartily recommend.

Amazing pizzas, worth every penny

Not sure how to review this place. The food is mostly really really good, and the guys seem friendly, but don't order any kebabs/kebab meat before 7pm, because if you order early (between 5pm and 6:30pm) it's still like leather, rubbery, and horrid. Once the machine has been on an hour or two it's delicious and the best donner meat in Shildon. They need to get there before opening time and turn the kebab heater on FIRST and get it started sooner. Had a fair few hairs in my food though and that really upsets a lot of people, i just pull them out and get on with my meal, these things happen but i will say he does seem to happen a LOT here... All-in-all the food is good, just don't order too early on an evening!

Lived in bishop Auckland for over 25 years and can honestly say this is the best pizza I've had from any takeaway, we always have the Madona and it's never been a let down, when it's been delivered its never taken long at all

I used to enjoy eating from here until tonight my takeaway was delivered with chips that had some sort of shaving hairs all over some of them. Nostril hair/facial hair shavings or just dropped on the floor and put back in the container it was utterly disgusting to find mid-meal and i have taken the photos to prove it. I've counted over 14 individual hairs in one cluster on one chip alone. What on earth! How absolutely disgusting. That sort of hair shouldn't make it's way into a food shop let alone on the food. For that reason alone you absolutely deserve this 1 star review. Today you permanently lost our family of seven's repeat custom - 2nd May 2015.

As the title suggests it's not a bad little takeaway and does a good donner kebab. As the town has quite a few takeaways now I'd certainly say it's in the top 2.
