Uncle Paulies in Liverpool

I’m not just giving it 5 stars because I’m scared godfather Paulie might come round to batter me or leave a horse’s head in my bed. I am genuinely impressed with this local delivery pizza place. I’ve used them twice now - on both occasions, admittedly, it was because I wanted a glass of wine and I couldn’t be bothered going the Lidl.Occasion one ; I ordered pizza as my accompanying morsel and it was really tasty and crisp - not like the pizza soup you usually get from a late night ‘pizzeria’. Occasion two ; my blossom hill side dish was southern fried chicken strips. Amazing value and super tasty.Can’t complain at all. And to top it all off - the establishment were kind enough to call me to enquire as to what blossom hill I wanted ❤️❤️❤️

Haven’t ordered from here in a while. So glad that the food is still amazing and is quick delivery. I would absolutely recommend !!!!!

They took my money and didn't deliver the food and when I rang the restaurant the fella said it got delivered

Popped in here as I was staying in Hotel Tia and forgot to feed my lad before drinking - bad dad. Anyways, really friendly staff and the pizzas were very nice. What's not to like?

This place is top of my list. The pizza’s are amazing and the chicken strips are lovely. Great value. Delivery guy was a treat and told me about their app, could even pay on card at the door.

The whole garlic bread was black at the bottom so had to throw in the bin.

Food arrived an hour late, was cold and not very tasty. Kebab was dry and tasteless as it did not come with garlic mayo as I had requested!

Food arrived 20 mins early. Still hot. Best kebabs in Anfield. Chips great too not soggy like other takeaways when been left in box too long. Defo ordering again!

the guy looked so unhappy because we entered there. The pizza was fine but very small for the price.

Chicken and chips was nice,but chicken and donner kebab was awful,kebab meat was dry and curly and i had to dig to find some chicken,salad was only toms,lettuce and onion. Was not impressed and probably won't order from here again. Disappointed.

This was by far the worst pizza I have eaten in a very long time. I don't believe that they use real cheese I believe they use cheese analogue and it was literally dripping with fat. The predominant flavour was pure grease! I had two slices and threw it in the bin. The price is cheap and I accept that but I would of rather paid more and actually had something to eat.

Chicken overcooked and gone dry

The meal was not worth the money i paid! The pizza was burnt and the chips were cold! I ordered for a chocolate fudge cake and was given a cheap muffin that tasted so disgusting it had to be thrown away. Why put fudge cake on the menu if you don't have any!!

Very nice Food. Made in front of you. So very Hot. They also deliver which is great. They do a Kids deal of Burger Chips & Drink for £3.50 the Kids love it.

Sauce on kebab was horrible, also paid for a drink and it wasn't delivered.

The chicken pieces were a gray colour not very appetizing the fries were under cooked and the chocolate fudge cake turned out to be a very dry chocolate muffin with a small amount of what was meant to be fresh cream

Didn't do anchovies anymore which I ordered but replaced by extra other toppings. take it out the options then. 32 min delivery 🚚

Tried to say we never ordered certain items that was clearly on out order. Just eat clearly shows order. Done this a few times now. Luckily we orderd via just eat.

The best chips served here. They are always freshly made to order. The perfect place to eat before visiting the home of football, Anfield!!!

I have had a kebab from a lot of places and when I ordered from Uncle Paulie all I got was a dry peace of Bread and Dry meat cubes. No salad, or sauce as I had from a lot of other places. When I rang to complain the person on the other end was VERY rude and told me I had to mention in the comment box what I want on it and then get charged accordingly. I thought the comment box was for allergies or standard things you DONT want on it. It was the worst kebab I ever had and also the worst service. I will NOT be using this place again

Pizzas didn't taste nearly as good as other pizzas we have had previous from other take aways. The base WASNT cooked throughly, the sauce wasn't great, chicken was undercooked and donner meat was burnt.

Rude. Forgets items and swears we never ordered them. Slow delivery. Awful service.

Uncle Paulie's no longer do baked potatoes (they have informed Just Eat), they promptly contacted me to let me know. I ordered a chicken burger instead and I'm very happy I did. Really lovely, best chicken burger I've had. The pizza was lovely too, base not too thick decent amount of toppings. Delivery was very quick. Will be ordering again!

Can't fault the place. It's always clean and Colin & Gavin are always extremely welcoming. Numerous choices on the menu all reasonably priced. Food is always prepared/cooked within 5-10 minutes of inital ordering and delivery is fast.

Nothing worth ordering again. Got a special kabeb and chips. I'd give the kabeb 5 out of 10.

I go there every weekend to get pizza's kebeb & they are always spot on & the staff are always great to there customer's.

I absolutely love uncle paulies, the pizzas are gorgeous and so are there kebabs, the workers are friendly they go that extra mile, i would certainly recommend a visit

I was pretty disappointed by this one... I ordered a 10" Garlic bread w/ Cheese + mushrooms, ´Large´ Chips, a chocolate cake ´with ice-cream´ and a can of Cherry Coke. Now, I don´t expect exquisite when it comes to takeaways but this one has been my least favourite so far. The Garlic bread w/ cheese and mushrooms was flavourless, even as far as the garlic. The large chips was ´small - medium´ compared to the large sizes I have received elsewhere. The ´Chocolate cake with ice-cream´ was a chocolate muffin WITHOUT ice cream. And my can of Cherry Coke was from a Multi-can pack not meant for resale - Still tasted the same, but leaves you feeling a little cheated. Delivery was right on time though. Won´t be ordering from here again.
