UHI Moray in Moray

I attended here about 10 years to do numerous courses. I did not enjoy my experience at all. The made it clear when I attended here I had a hidden disability, so I would need extra support. I got some support, however the staff assigned to help me were very rude and did not treat me with dignity. A few of them even bullied me and laughed at me. The students were also very rude and had no respect towards an individual with a hidden disability. I made no friends at all during my 5+ years here. There was also frequently an issue with lecturers not showing up. I didn’t find out they wouldn’t be present for the class until it was due to start. This means I frequently wasted money on bus fares. I do not recommend this college at all. (Opinions my own)

We hosted a young climate leadership event at the UHI Moray campus in Elgin in April 2024. The events/administration teams were fantastic, giving us all the information we needed well in advance, big shout out to Sarah! The campus is right in the heart of Elgin and easy to access via public transport. The venue is pretty new, and has all the amenities' needed for meetings or events. The conference room is large and has a wall of windows letting in lots of natural light (there are blinds if it gets too bright). There is some space outside that can also be used for activities. The Little Lunchbox catering is clear and easy to book. We had one of the buffet options and the team were able to make it fully vegetarian/vegan for our event. We look forward to working with the UHI Moray team again!

Rude staff and students, Negative place.

Since I last visited, they really have updated everything...now we have a beautiful, comfortable and modern campus that is brimming with life and smiles. Reception was friendly and there is a wonderful food section right as you come in. The seating is comfy and I am very impressed.

Good choice of study options , lecturers and staff very helpful and informative. Staff and lectures go above and beyond to assist their students. Disabled access and lifts available also appropriate disabled parking in each car park.

Great lecturers; you get treated like an adult by most of the tutors and there's always support when you need it. It's a shame so many classes had to move online though!

It was,a lovely experience. Staff & students were very pleasant . My stylist was checked every step .so no mistakes very professional. I would recommend it every time.

Lovely building so clean full marks to all the cleaner keeping the place so clean and keeping every one safe

Only thing I have a problem with about the College is I submitted all my forms for bursary in March, and yet I have not been paid at all

hated my time at the collage, lecturers are present in class less than the sudents are and the teaching quality is terrible

Horrible place. The staff pick favourites, ignore those they dislike and if you have a disability, you will be ignored and treated unfairly. Avoid this place at all costs!

Friendly students and staff. Traffic pattern is kind of wierd. but easy to get around
