Twelve Twenty in Teignbridge

We were really well looked after last night. It was a busy Saturday for seven of us. The food was great, biggest burgers I've ever seen! Our vegan friends were really well catered for also and were super happy. Staff were friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

Wot an awesome evening great food great cocktails and great service. Beth went above and beyond thank you very much. And we will see you again very soon.

It's not often I am wanting more, but having experienced twelve twenty's amazing food, incredible cocktails and fantastic and passionate staff, I will be back! A calamari starter to tempt the taste buds, and a cheesy garlic bread, followed by pizzas and sundaes! Normally pizzas leave you heavy and stuffed. Their light crusts and exceptionally well balanced flavours of both the ones we ordered just hit the spot! Bravo to the team. Compliments to the chef. We shall return!!

We recently went here for Sunday lunch for my birthday. There were 15 of us in total. The staff were amazing and very friendly. They asked for a pre-order as there were so many of us and everything was as requested not one item missed or incorrect. Food came out altogether and we couldn't fault it, it was lovely. The even gave us takeaway boxes as the pizzas were very big. Food was spot on and the restaurant itself was very nice, clean and lovely modern décor. Pool table and darts upstairs which kept the kids happy and out the way and a nice little balcony that overlooks the yard area. We were staying nearby for a weekend away so wasn't sure on the area or what to expect but we were very happy and would highly recommend this place and will return in the future.

I've visited the restaurant a few time's . Great service & the food is delicious. They were exceptional in catering for my needs as I'm a vegetarian. Would definitely recommend visiting the restaurant for top notch food. 😋👌

Turned up at 11:50 for a breakfast. Waited for 5 minutes only to be turned away even though it says breakfast served until 12. Place was empty.

Didn’t think I’d have to wait nearly 2 hours for them to deliver 15 minutes away. I understand they may be busy, but they need to be more realistic with the times. Would have collected if my son was well!

I have several allergies and they were absolutely great. I had contacted them in advance and they kindly doubled checked ingredients in the dish I wanted in advance with the chef. On the day itself I was super impressed that each member of staff knew about my allergies and meticulously checked. I had a lovely meal. Eating out is often a bit nerve racking when you have allergies but they did it superbly here. Highly recommend. Clean, tidy, delicious food and lovely staff. Thanks so much.

We stopped off for a bite to eat whilst visiting Newton Abbott. Friendly pub with a warm welcome. Pub has a modern feel and was buzzing. A tad noisy for some. We had a pizza and dirty fries. Very tasty food. Would definitely eat there again

Had a lovely meal here with family. Quick service with the drinks & food. All our meals were tasty and good size portions. The dirty fries are delicious.

Had issue with order. Rang up and very happy to sort issue out. Great service.

Ordered food at 7pm and was ready at 7:20. Arrived at 7:30 and food was extremely condensated and soggy along with being cold. No spring onions on the duck fries either. Food tasted good but could have been better for the price paid.

Been coming here since it opened ! Lovely atmosphere, nice and clean! Bar staff are really friendly especially Jenny who has always made an extra effort for us !

Was here yesterday and had some lovely food, the service was provided by a lovely girl called Alex, we had the belly pork chunks which was top tier, and the fries were wonderful, we was told the chef Kenny told the server to tell us to have a merry Christmas which is nice to hear from the back of house, will be returning for sure.

Ordered via uber eats some great desserts, was stunning and gorgeous and received a lovely note from the chefs nice touch.

We recently held our work Christmas party at Twelve Twenty, and I cannot fault the evening at all. The staff were exceptional, working tirelessly throughout the night—nothing was too much trouble for them. The atmosphere was fantastic, enhanced by live music featuring a great variety of songs. And the food? Absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes that ensured no one left hungry. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone, and we’re already considering booking it again for next year—maybe even for our summer night out too! A huge thank you to the team at Twelve Twenty for kicking off our Christmas celebrations with a bang!

Food was great as usual! Delivery time on a Saturday at peak time was a little over and hour which is to expected but we delivered in the middle of the time slot given so was bang on time! Thanks again!

We are a regular of this restaurant/pub although we haven't visited all summer as we noticed prices had increased a hell of alot. Today we visited for the first time in months and was very disappointed I ordered a child's meal and asked for only cucumber as my 5 year old dose not eat peppers, onions and lettuce that was served with the side salad was told you do not do cucumber i asked for peas and was also told u do not do these. we ordered the roasts and they were cold vegetables over cooked and we were served a portion of vegetables for one, we ordered two roasts, I asked the waiter for some spoons for the vegetables to serve and he looked at me very strangely he never returned with the spoons and carried on serving other customers. Such a shame as twelve twenty has always been one of our favourite places to eat in N/A we will not be returning in a hurry

Spent nearly £50 on a take away, pizza arrived upside down and tipped to one side. Phoned the restaurant and was unpleasantly greeted by a rude, arrogant and completely unapologetic excuse for a staff member. Maybe management need to provide better training .

Ordered our usual burgers, which as usual were delicious, however were disappointed to see that they no longer came with fries/slaw as usual, and yet the prices remained unchanged. No indication anywhere in the restaurant that this change had been made. For me, the lack of any notification of the removal of half of the food from a large number of menu items, and the fact that two burgers on their own with two drinks now totals just shy of £40, means that there is now little motivation to come back here. Such a shame, as the food and setting is lovely and this has been a favourite of ours for years.

We ate here this evening. The food was absolutely delicious, even our 2 year old ate the lot. Was a lovely atmosphere with great background music. The staff were also friendly. Easy to order your food from your table. Will definitely be back. 10/10.

Nipped in with my partner and daughter, finish is very nice, waited a little while for food, but it did seem busy with the amount of staff on shift. Would go again.

We ate here on a Saturday evening with a group of 5 family members, it was wonderful. A waitress called JENNY was super helpful, suggesting cocktails and informing us about the menu. She was very knowledgeable and patient as my Dad had never eaten tapas before. All the food was delicious & the variety of cocktails was great. We all had a really good evening. Seating was not too crowded, the seats comfortable. We booked a table ahead of time. We parked in the carpark at the back for free after 6pm.

We found this place purely by chance during a day visit to Newton Abbot. What a result! We had a light lunch including dessert plus a very nice bottle of wine. The coffee is good and the food was all freshly prepared and delicious. The service is a delight and the staff made us feel very welcome. The ambiance is very pleasant and we recommend you give it a try - you won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely amazing! We’re becoming regulars now! They have changed the menu but the staff were polite and informed us of the changes. Would always recommend the belly pork chunks and cauliflower bites 😋 Will definitely be seeing us again soon!!

Me and my girlfriends usual go to never had a bad experience but paid £40 for two burgers and they weren’t served with fries, coleslaw and salad like it usually is. Prices have gone up and are getting less for your money won’t be coming back for a while or at all if that’s not sorted.

Had a cup of tea and a sausage sandwich and no complaints! We'll have to go for a full meal and a beer to find out more

Went for a birthday meal out, it was very quiet but it was a Tuesday night. Lovely decor, pool table and outside terrace upstairs looked very nice. Service was friendly and quick 😊 good selection of food, good portion sizes, some of the food seemed to be not made from scratch and lacking freshness but overall tasted good.

We had 3 sharing plates for two which was more than enough. They were bigger than expected and more than enough for a lunch. Service very good.

Over all very poor service. One drink missing, one main missing, one dessert missing!! Come one you take an order, it's really not difficult. They weren't very busy yet noone cleared our table between courses. The food in general was OK but the chips were rock hard & the Mother Plucker burger was so dry it was impossible to swallow, what's wrong with relish or a slice of tomato? Won't be returning.

Had a nice early meal with the family mid week. Food was very nice and the selection was very good.

Popped in here for some cocktails with a friend on the weekend and I was really impressed. The staff are lovely especially Charlotte! She is really friendly, has good knowledge about their menu and helped me pick a cocktail. She made me the best espresso martini I’ve ever had. We will definitely come here again. Thanks Charlotte!

10/10! found this place on google and thought we’d give it a go and i’m not disappointed. was a bit pricey but definitely worth the money and filled us up for the whole day. the service was brilliant we asked to order some mash for our baby they didn’t serve it so they cooked us some potatoes to mash😊deffo coming back very soon.

First time here. Went in for lunch (4 adults). Had the duck taco, cod chunks, cajun chicken burger, crispy belly pork chunks, fried chicken dirty fries, chicken balti parcels along with 6 cocktails and 2 pints of beer all under £115. Food was lovely and fresh and the cocktails were all tasty. Service great. All in all a fab place and we will be returning.

lovely food, a drink (cocktail) was missing but they were amazing and got it sent out relatively quickly which is great for a sat night. staff member was lovely on the phone and very apologetic.

We booked a private party upstairs this evening 10/5/24 and I have to say what fantastic service we had from Jenny who was our bar host for the evening. Jenny was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Great service! Jenny is an absolute credit to you! We will definately be booking again. Thank you ☺️

Had food delivered the children portion was disgusting for 5 pound each and children wouldn't eat as didn't taste nice.

We held our dad’s surprise 60th in the Old J bar and had a brilliant time. Shout out to Jenny who is an absolute vibe. She welcomed us warmly, looked after us brilliantly and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best night.

I did like it there and I liked the fired shrimp and chips but I do kinda miss Rio Grande :( but no worries I don't really mind witch shops are there to offer :)

none of 4 starters had bed of salad. if just one could understand but could have put 4 salads into separate box or bag. bit mean on sauces and slither of lemon with whitebait not worth the effort!

Had to return my food as the group I was with had already eaten before my vegetables and gravy arrived,it was returned cold,very disappointing! Service has gone down hill recently,the manager was also rude about the situation.

Didn't expect it to be so busy on Sunday in Newton But I can see why Amazing staff I'm really sorry I didn't get the name of the young lady that looked after us and got the ramp to get my dad in a wheelchair in Food was amazing and I feel I could just go back daily and get different tapas each time Gluten free there's not as much choice on the tapas but the Mrs is really looking forward to a burger next time

Food was really good but a little cold on arrival. Seemed that our order was out for delivery for a while so it’s possible the driver had multiple orders. Would order again but would suggest looking in to better options for keeping food hot
