Well first time went into pub. We had 4 dogs and was 3 of us. Had lamb roast lunch and wasnt disappointed. Very good portions and everything home cooked. Great service very friendly had lovely lunch. Highly recommended. Going to try breakfast next visit. Will definitely be back.

Saturday 18 July - We had a really outstanding breakfast, we thoroughly recommend it, you won't be disappointed!!! I had the standard and my other half had the large, wow what a breakfast!!! Open on a FRIDAY or SATURDAY. we will be going again!!!

Nice friendly pub that went to the trouble of putting another football channel on just for me

The band was amazing and can't fault them. The guy behind the bar was disrespectful and rude. We spent 14.99 on a bottle of prosecco and he decided to come to our table and accuse us of bringing a bottle in. Will never return and will advise others not to either. Horrible man.

The atmosphere in the King's arms was absolutely great and the people all showed a type of friendship that is great to find anywhere.

Stopped for a pint before going home. Down to earth pub which was good. Parking was a bit tight, not the biggest car park. Looks like the sort of pub you can drop in by on the way home from work.

Poor landlord. Would recommend the bell inn, 2 minutes up the road.

Amazing breakfast. My personal opinion more mushroom less potato and toast on the side. Was delicious and im definately coming back well done guys.

They only serve breakfast Thursday ,Friday and Saturday,but everything was freshly cooked,it was alovely breakfast,and really nice coffee.We would definitely in back again 👍

The Kings Arms is a true local friendly pub with great bar staff (Tim especially) who make you feel welcome and relaxed. The roast dinner is so tasty and really good value for money, and with the football on sky sports you can't beat it.

Friendly local pub serving excellent food at lunchtimes. The Sunday roast is particularly good. I've been to see several live bands here and the atmosphere is always really happy and the staff join in, jigging along to the music. There is a car park behind the pub and the toilets are spotless which is very important to me. I would recommend The Kings Arms for a good night out or a Sunday Roast with your family. They welcome children here too which is nice.

Super pub, fabulous lunch with home made cooking. Proper sports TVs with every game you could wish for on live. . . Now refurbed it really has lifted the place, easily best pub in the village!

This is the best music venue/sports pub in town in my opinion. The staff here are nothing but friendly and they create a great atmosphere. I can't comment on the food as I haven't eaten here but for a great night out Friday's are cracking; with live bands every week. Superb!

Even the bartender couldn't say it was the best place to get a drink in Newton Abbot or kingsteignton. However, one can't knock a bar, for being a bar. The drinks are on par. The best entertainment is the locals, some of whom seem quite regular. Nice view of football off multiple huge tellys.

Went to the kings arms for one after work on Friday only a few people there the staff were brilliant but the landlord was very irrational shouting at the one member of staff for talking it is a bit run down out there don't think I'll waste any more money out there

A welcoming pub with a good range of food to choose form on the menu with tasty desserts. Drink choice suitable for just about anyone from real ales to soft drinks. Friendly bar staff. Dart board and 2 pool tables.

This pub in the centre of Kingsteignton is normally considered a 'lads pub' Once the football comes on screen in the bar to a degree I would agree. Most blokes and women like an intake of football occasionally? However, several friends suggested we try their Sunday Lunch which came highly recommended Well, at £4.95 it was surely worth a whirl, so along we went to test the water. I settled for roast lamb and my wife roast beef and of course I really like my usual pint of 'Thatchers Gold'. We were served within minutes of arrival, as we had pre booked. My wife and were extremely impressed with both meals, ample portions,quite tasty and good value. The staff were very pleasant, and service was with a smile. I would however suggest if you are in the senior citizen category, to book before 2.0.pm.as it could get a little noisy when a team scores? Perhaps, a lads pub and not high class, but good value Sunday meals and really tasty. Thank you Landlord, impressed!

Went on Friday 22 in the evening with my dad on a visit. The beer is good (usual selection + some more unusual ones, real ale). Very friendly bar staff, and amazing live music (the band on this day called Barracuda) . it is a locals bar but all very friendly and lots of local knowledge. Great fun and

Typical boozer with typical boozer service and atmosphere. Not particularly friendly or welcoming and beer not that good either. Felt very uncomfortable from the moment I walked in only stayed for 1 drink.

Went here to watch an England match while on holiday. Real rough pub. Very dirty and smelt of men's toilets. The batman was miserable and rude. The ale was awful and gave me a dodgy stomach. No food offering but wouldn't have chosen to eat here if there was as if the areas customers ee are so bad I dread to think what the areas customers don't see are like.

Proper old fashioned home cooked food by Lorna - Excellent, Great bubbly barmaid Wendy, and real ales + usual lagers Carling etc..... Ideal drop in boozer for the racecourse, Nothing is too trouble for these guys..........
