Came for girlfriends birthday. Lovely time amazing hosts. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Lovely food with great service! The food here is fab and the staff are all very nice and friendly! Very accommodating as well. We had a pushchair and they made sure we had a table that suited the pushchair and the baby!

Lovely food, really enjoyed the meal. The start was very attentive, and looked after us throughout the evening.

Very stupid behaviour with drivers and everyone

Went for lunch. Very disappointed, especially as a previous visit in the evening was excellent. The waiter gave us a large lunch menu... but what we asked for was not available as it was considered 'too large for lunch'!!! Why have it on the menu? Went for a casserole type of dish... we were sure had been microwaved.... quite mediocre.. I must say that they did give us a tasty complimentary dish before with (a lot of) pitta bread. Staff were very pleasant. Nice atmosphere. Don't think I will revisit though.

A last minute booking. We were made so welcome, given a choice of table given it being 8pm on a Saturday evening. We were given super advice on wine choice and food. The quality of the meat was exceptional. All the trimmings that accompanied were delicious too. No hesitation to recommend this venue. Thank you for looking after us 🥰

We always come here to celebrate family events and tonight was no different. I particularly enjoyed the hot starter Halloumi and sausage. The calamari was exquisite, no stringy bits, fresh, plump and meaty. Mojito's for me, Pina Colada for my daughter, both were really very good. Particularly enjoy the Turkish delight at the end of our meal.

Perhaps chose the wrong evening to visit (England/Spain) but place was empty (1 table) nevertheless “any port in a storm “ as my hotel had finished serving for the day @ 1800! Not wishing to take any chances chose the lamb pieces on a bed of chopped pita bread with yogurt. Lamb was OK but was not over generous the padding was the pita bread. At £25 for a plate + beer+service seems a tad not the best value especially with chipped plates. Can I recommend it ? There are better options nearby.

Had a lovely evening with friends and family at Turquoise Kitchen. Staff were lovely as always, friendly, helpful and patient with a big group. Food was excellent, meze starters were delicious.

I would recommend coming here for a meal as the food was really good and you got big portions and the staff were really friendly and helpful and the prices were good too. We will be coming again when visiting this area.

Having chosen this one out of two Turkish restaurants in the town we were disappointed with the food overall. Service was over the top as they alway walking around looking at what we were doing, asked for the bill give it to us and was there with the machine before we could check all was ok, hold back a bit for a minute or two here please! Hot platter starters was ok, however the mains were disappointing, salmon was dry. Mixed kababs was only a few pieces chips were poor too. Will not return

Have eaten at this restaurant many times over the last couple of years and the food is always excellent and the staff and service always impeccable. Nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

My family and I visited this restaurant for my sister's birthday on 11th May. The place was tidy, stylish, and clean. We were seated straight away and offered drinks. We were then provided warm pita bread and dips, which was lovely. All of our mains (including my vege meal) were cooked to perfection and served promptly. There were a lot of waiting staff, so it was easy to get attention. Overall, it was an excellent night. Great atmosphere, great food. We couldn't fault it!!

Absolutely blown away by the generosity of Mustafa. Today, I ordered a staff lunch to have with some of my colleagues. He was amazingly accommodating and we will definitely use again in the very near future. We ordered Chicken Shish, Chicken Beyti and Falafel meals. Everyone of us enjoyed our meals. Thank you 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Me and my girlfriend come a few times. I always have chicken shish and tastes delicious only complaint is the portion is a bit small We will come here again but more as a treat as isn't cheap then pay service charge 10% but can't fault the food The pic below is the chicken shish

A lovely spot for lunch. The service was excellent, food fresh, tasty and felt good for one's body and soul. The lunch deal ended with a Turkish coffee and shared baklava was perfect!

It's such a lovely place to eat. The staff were so friendly. I recommend this place to eat.

all the items that should have been hot were cold so had to reheatin air fryer for another 15mins after already waiting an extra 40mins

Best Turkish I’ve ever been. The food is absolutely delicious and the head chef is adorable. We always go for the Sarma Lamb Beyti for main - just order it, you will not be disappointed! It’s one of their specials.

Don’t buy food from this restaurant, the take your money and never deliver

My food was amazing when I finally got it. Just eat driver failed to deliver my order. I contacted the restaurant who also contacted just eat. Restaurant then re made my order and I collected the food myself. I will not order through just eat again in future I will order directly from the restaurant.

They never delivered my food and never answered the phone, absolute worst customer service!! And not even had a refund!! Do not order a delivery from here

This is a really hard one to rate as the food here is amazing! Everything about turquoise kitchen is amazing BUT and it’s a big one, they close at 10!! We went last night for the fifth time and for the fifth time, I felt rushed which spoilt what was otherwise a lovely dining experience. We booked a table for 8 but from the minute we sat down, we were reminded that they close at 10. Throughout the meal, we were reminded that they close at 10. Then when we tried to order another bottle of wine at 9.20, we had to promise that we’d drink it by 10. The waiters were really lovely other than this and did explain that they all live in London so close early. By 9.40 they had pretty much closed the restaurant, in a Friday night and we watched as one by one most of the staff left. We left at 9.45 as felt pressured to go. What a shame! It would definitely put me off going for anything other than an early dinner, definitely not somewhere to relax, enjoy the amazing food and wine and atmosphere on a weekend!

The food here was great. Generous but not overly generous portions that are tasty and well prepared. Everything was served hot and was fresh. Service felt a bit rushed but they were busy. Possibly as they seem to have a single rush hour which makes it very loud inside and also slows the service down while making the servers anxious. However the food was tasty/worth it and we were not rushed from our table and were made to feel welcome while we were there. Overall I’d recommend and happily go back but I’d go early in the evening or after about 1945 to avoid what appears to be a dinner rush.

The order didn’t have any bread (that is usually provided) so a bit disappointing and resulted in lower quality. Pre ordered in advance for 8pm but it arrived over 15 minutes late. Resulting in a lower score.

As usual the food was fantastic, arrived on time was hot and very tasty! We have never been discontented by a meal from here!

The staff were amazing and so was the food. The chiken wings were so tasty. We spent a lot of money but there were leftovers and we took them back. It was a friend's birthday there and they handed him a slice of cake with a sparkler and gave the kids lollipops, and put a plate of turkish delight on our table for us to take. All this was free. They were very friendly and the food was amazing so I would highly recommend coming here.

Firs visit here for my husband and me. We just had mains as we had tickets to a show. I had vegetarian moussaka and he had lamb/chicken shish. Both were lovely dishes. Hubby said the meat was tender and very flavoursome. My moussaka was very under seasoned. The thing that brings the star rating down is the atmosphere and service. The kitchen it visible and run by 1 gentleman, the floor is clearly run by another gentleman (maybe brothers?) Kitchen man was incredibly loud and shouty - to the pont he looked and sounded like a bundle of anger and stress - all very distracting... as was the CONSTANT dinging of the bells to alert servers that food was ready for collection at the pass. If not collected in a timely fashion that poor bell was dinged with increasing violence. Meanwhile on the floor it was incredibly clear that the female staff were treated like sh*t. They were spoken to so abruptly and expected to jump to every curt command. It made for actually quite an uncomfortable atmosphere at times. Service felt very disorganised. It didn't appear that servers had specific sections and were just scurrying everywhere with a slight sense of panic. Food was tasty but it was not a relaxed enjoyable dining experience. I see many comments on service in other reviews.... maybe the owners should start to recognise the pattern?

I came home from a hospital appointment, tired and hungry and thought I'd get a lovely meal from turquoise kitchen. No such luck! For £32 I got a reheated, dry chicken kebab, tabbouleh that was just going off and without any couscous in it, and a baba ganoush which was barely flavoured. I'm so disappointed. I feel that they were indifferent to what they were sending out. I will not be ordering/eating there again.

Delivery was amazing, quality was amazing

We've been ordering from Turqouse for a while and today we noticed a clear change. The portion size has decreased, the quality of the potatoes in the chips is decreased, they are waxy when they used to be lovely fluffy and soft, and the falafel recipe is changed. All for the worse unfortunately... I will think twice next time before ordering.

Service was good , food average at best , Lamb shish with yoghurt , The lamb was semi tough , had very little flavour , no rice , instead the whole thing sat on a bed of chopped up pieces of bread , which were very soggy and quite horrible , just terrible , A waste of £60 between the two of us .

Well done to the restaurant team a truly fantastic dinner full of flavour a nice amount and delivered early and pipping hot . Would order again.

Should be a 4.5 out of 5 stars but will go with 5. Staff are super friendly and welcoming, food is amazing. Visited twice in space of a week, only complaint was the request I made during both visits was not communicated and ended up being ignored. Better communication between waiters and I would have no complaints! Worth the visit and we will be visiting again.

Lovely food, piping hot and very fresh

Food is usually great however this time the chicken was cold, and one piece was extremely tough. Unfortunately I couldn't eat it and most of it. Gutted, I was discharged from hospital today and wanted something hot, nice and healthy, hopefully this is just a once off, they are usually very reliable.

Lunch menu good value and the food quite tasty. Lots of gluten free. Unfortunately the service is a real let down. Was not greeted at the door or walked to a table, felt very rushed and even our plates were cleared away while we were still eating without even asking us if we were finished. Wouldn’t return, sorry.

Very friendly staff...the food was good. As a Caribbean person. Not everyone can satisfy my taste buds. But they've mastered it...will return with hubby.

Would rate zero stars if I could! They have very rude staff working at this establishment. Couldn't have a calming chat with my partner because the waiters would be hovering over us like they wanted to rush us with our meals. I also saw the way they would greet people coming in and there was no hospitability just coldness. There was a tall, heavy waiter in particular who rudely asked if we were ready to order when we had literally just sat down and opened the menus. Would never go there again. There are far better restaurants in the area with much better service!

This is a gem! It’s unthinkable that such a great restaurant with tasty food would be tucked in a tiny town, but here it is. I always overeat, ordering more than I can eat. The staff are friendly and engaging. One time my colleagues forgot to pick me up for a business dinner but I was so happy they did because I walked to Turquoise Kitchen and pigged out! As if I hadn’t eaten enough, the waiter noticed I loved the Turkish Delights and brought me a handful.

I don't normally write negative reviews, however our experience here on 28/01/23 was ruined by a rude waiter. He was unhelpful and would not answer our questions on the meals we intended to order. His answers repeatedly were ....''read the menu it says everything there and make up your mind'' We will not go there again. Very rude. Poor customer service.
