Turkish Shawarma in Walsall

Ordered from here a while ago, food was ok, very simple and lightly spiced, its best for people who cannot handle spicy food. Had the lamb chops with rice, Mozzarella sticks, california chicken pizza. Haven't ordered again purely based on the fact I prefer a bit more flavour/spice in food, especially if paying these prices. Delivery driver was a bit rude as well unfortunately.

Angery staff, don't know why , food is good but, portion is small for price, visited 8 months ago , and staff was amazing, but this visit was disappointed, feels like staff doesn't want you to be here, I don't know why ?

I really rate this place. The lamb Shawarma and pizza was just amazing. This is proper food and one of the best 👌

Did not enjoy sorry. The quality was just not there. Maybe they can improve for future but looks far from it was very greasy. The homous seemed old as still had bits of the thick surface for leaving out to long. I wish I had taken some pictures.

Service very slow, some staff very rude and arrogant, shawarma is awful - oily/incredibly greasy, hard and completely inedible, simple BBQ stuff many times over cooked and hard as a rock, generally bland in taste. Also, don’t be surprised if they get your order wrong as they can’t communicate in English (asked for lamb, gave me chicken) and don’t be surprised if they give you leftovers/rubbish, especially when they’re “closing” (why bother taking orders in the first place if you’ve got inedible waste leftover?) Asked one of the workers why they’re selling Coca Cola products given the massacre of Palestinians, he said “it sells, people buy” which might be a picky point but for me makes all the difference and not representative of the community spirit. Never going there again, eat at any chippy, better value for money and frankly tastes better.

Waited over hour for delivery . Food is absolutely testles and plain. Chicken shawarma meal had very plain burned chicken and saggy fries under meat. No salad no sauce and terrible taste. Chicken burger comes as just pice of chicken in bun without any spice sauce or salat. As waited so long food was really cold and fires even was not eatable. Waste of money and time, home made sandwich would have more favour in it.

Very rude customer service they don't bother about the customer, Remember when customer comes to your shop treat them nicely and stop ignoring them because you are not running your business without the customers

I had the worst experience. Had ordered chicken tikka pizza. But they added shawarma chicken instead of chicken tikka. It also tasted bitter in some parts. Also, The home delivery took 2 hours to reach home. I am just 15 mins away from this restaurant.

The chicken shawarma was lukewarm when it was plated. I recommend the naan bread over the fries too but I don't think I'd be ordering from there anytime soon.

Ordered 2 large pizzas both of them was so hard like rubber after few bites my mouth started hurting it was so hard

Additionally, the waiting time was unreasonably long, further dampening the overall dining experience. Disgusting behaviour from the people at this food place. Really bad hygiene practice seen the staff handling food without washing hands straight after taking rubbish and having a smoke Can’t tell who is staff and who isn’t, random people walking in and out and helping out on the grill, prep station, serving, then popping out for a cig and chai, then back serving A smile would not cost anything , but it looked like they forgot to even to grin.

Ordered mix grill .. lamb kebab was salty.. chicken kebab wasn't anything to write home about.. this place is hit and miss.. sometimes good sometimes bad and sometimes shockingly shiite

Worst in time opening times. Open any time I guess suits them. It's never open 11 or 12noon, dnt know closing time. Meal not to standard of similar in Brum trust me.

I bought mix wrap yesterday night,I always buy wrap from this shop,But yesterday they gave me worse wrap I ever had,chicken and meat was burned like charcoal,it was cold ,even they charged me 50 p extra without my consent.I will never ever buy or eat from this shop.Who will go next time please kindly check your receipt and food before leaving the shop .

Food was very cold. I apid for mix sharwama with fries and salad, but all you could see and taste was salad, there was like really little shawrma in it and less fries 🍟. Wont be ordering again. Too much money but leas food. 👎

Ordered mixed shawarma on naan - portions are small for what you pay. Literally they gave 2 table spoons of lamb shawarma and ratio was 80% chicken and 20%lamb (chicken is cheaper). Take the piss. You’re basically paying for salad with abit of shawarma

Ordered the Adana mix grill, this came with chicken and lamb adana and wings with rice. The adana kebab was tasty, well flavoured meats. Wings were juicy and flavoursome. The rice was okay, it could do with bit more seasoning and flavour. Portion size is good this can feed 2. Garlic and chilli sauce is not bad.

Nice Food and Great Guys, they do Lovely Ribs and Chops and their Hummus is Delish

Waited half an hour for my order which they kept forgetting. When served, the meat was very undercooked and chewy. Never buying this again

Used this place for a considerable amount of time now and always been happy-always the same meals ordered and always had it delivered. Ordered a week ago and my husband had the chicken shawarma as usual but commented that it didn't taste as good and that the salad looked like someone elses leftovers. We shrugged it off as we are all only human, mistakes are made, everyone's entitled to have a 'bad day'. Ordered again this evening and his chicken was completely inedible, nothing but gristle and looked like it had already been chewed and spat back out and it was freezing cold. We called the restaurant and were told that they usually stop serving at 9 (they're open until 10 and we always order approx 9:30pm) and it was 'the last bits' so 'what do you expect?' Well edible food would be nice. They said everything was turned off so they cooked it in the pizza oven! Surely that is a health and safety risk with chicken and salmonella? But it doees explain why the food was still half frozen as clearly not cooked properly and thoroughly. My husband said they shouldn't have accepted the order if this was the case and the only thing that they said was to 'call tomorrow at 6 and we will send you a fresh one out'. No thank you-a refund for the inedible food wasn't even offered and we absolutely do not want any more food from this establishment. Very disppointed in the food itself, the service/resolution offered but mainly how they seem to flaunt health and safety regulations to make their jobs easier. Will not be ordering from here again.

Disgusting behaviour from the people at this food place. I placed and paid for an order at 5pm requesting for food to be delivered for 7.15pm. At 7.45pm NO FOOD. Phoned the restaurant and they said its on the way. 8pm NO FOOD Phoned again they said the driver has taken it just another 5-6mins. 8.20pm NO FOOD phoned again and they said we not making your order. We can make it now will take 25mins. I asked why and they said we don't have your address. WHAT! I ordered through ubereats address is there Black and white. I'm fuming because my kids were fasting. Never again AVOID

Just got turned away from here after ordering 3 x Chicken Shawarma with Naan as the staff said they have no more naans after taking my order. Phoned up 5 minutes later pretending to want 5 x Chicken Shawarma for collection and they have accepted the order . . . so where have the Naan's magically appeared from now ??? Won't be going here again, 1 star rating cos I cannot give any lower but would give a -5 if I could.

Had our first takeaway experience with Turkish Shawarma tonight. I have to say it's the best takeaway I've had in a long time. Outstanding food, will definitely be ordering again and recommending to family and friends.

The best food I have ever tasted! Their shawarma is top class, as well as all of their other delicious offers! I will definitely recommend to my friends and to you too, come here for first class for less!

I'll just talk about the food, as the rest is irrelevant to me. They have the best chicken and lamb Kofte that I have tasted in and around Birmingham. Thats why I have driven more than 30 mins from Tamworth several times to get this amazing food. Between the chicken and lamb Kofte, I would say the chicken has the better taste, but thats just my choice. Thanks!

Worse restaurant ever... Wrong order... 3 hours late for delivery... And when it finally come... I didn't get even what i ordered... I pay 35 pounds... And i received 2 bottles of colla.. Try to call them.. Personal very very rud on the phone... They cut you off very fast!!!! Please don't go.. And never order from them. You will gonna waste your money and time.

Very delicious Turkish BBQ, the staff were friendly, the portion size is good, the prices here are logical compared with the quality provided. You can eat inside or take your food away. The food here is halal.

Reasonable prices and can choose the salad you want in the kebabs... The naan are big but they need to put more meat inside it... The staff also need to cheer up

Overpriced food tasting only MSG. Customer service was worse than the food. The staffs at the counter simply ignore you even after waiting for 10 minutes in turn. A smile would not cost anything , but it looked like they forgot to even to grin. Never to visit again

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE & PUNCTUALITY Made a large order at 7.15 and was told around 8 that the food would arrive in 20 minutes. Ended up coming after 9.30, after 3 phone calls, no apologies and rude service, claiming the driver was 4/5 minutes away several times when in fact they were still preparing the food. Didnt offer anything on the house or even a couple pounds off the order. Be prepared to wait HOURS for your food!!

Ordered take away online at 18:10 and did not receive it till 20:35!!!!! Called few times & all I hear is just excuses. Would not recommend Turkish Shawarma Walsall purely for the poor customer service: it is appauling

Great Shawarma. Some of the best in Walsall. Parking is an issue but the high quality food is worth it.

Ordered a platter for two and a tandoori chicken pizza thin base. Food was tasty and piping hot. Grilled meat was well marinated and flavourful.

Food massively overpriced and excessively spicy, the Mixed Shawarma was nice though Still expensive for nearly £7. Mixed Grill Adana, 2 tiny mushrooms 3 sticks of stupidly spicy processed meat and the thinnest naan ever it was thinner than a pitta bread, Daylight robbery.

The food was amazing, all fresh and tasty. Lots to offer on the menu, reasonably priced. Also the delivery driver is a lovely guy!

Slow service took order then carried on fliipng meats on his grill for ages. Then puts pitta bread in microwave more delay microwave dings he carries on flipping meats. Gave up. ALSO NOT TURKISH THEY SPEAK A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE .

I'm afraid this was nothing to get excited about. We had lamb shawarma kebabs and a mixed chicken/lamb shawarma kebab. The chicken was okay but whilst we were initially pleased that the lamb was proper shredded lamb,rather than lamb doner, it was actually pretty tasteless and quite dry. We expected the meat to be with the bread and the chips to be separate but they were on the naan bread, buried underneath all of the meat. Sorry to say we had hoped for much better.

Do not order from this restaurant!! I placed order through food hub at 9pm only to receive a phone call 5 min later saying they had no food left.but the money was removed from my account!!

Great traditional Turkish food. Offers a mixture of mixed grills and shawarma sandwiches, among other things. Eat-in or take-away. Prices are reasonable. Food is fresh and place is clean. Aryan milk available in the beverage chiller. Fresh cuts of baklava in various forms also available. Staff are friendly and proud of their food.

Wow! Ordered tonight @ 18:30 and delivery was 40 (19:10) minutes, had to call after an hour (19:30) to find out where it was. Was told it was really busy so would be another 20 minutes (19:50). It finally arrived at 20:35. A number of the ordered items were wrong, I can live with salad on something I asked for it not to be< but a completely wrong item is not ok, part of the wrong item had chicken wings which were very undercooked and not fit for consumption. Most of the order was cold or lukewarm. On each occasion where I called and had to give my postcode, I was told my postcode didn’t exist, it was a very strained experience to be fair and they didn’t really seem to care about customer service. The only positive is that most of the food, once reheated was above average. First and last time, never again!

Fantastic, place if your used to the normal chip shop kebabs you may be disappointed, but if you eat good proper kebabs this place is for you, the fresh pitta bread is amazing

Delicious food but at an excessive price.

Surprised by the amount of poor reviews this place has, we have been here twice and have enjoyed the food on both occasion. I have had plenty of Shawarma in my day and this was one of the best I've had in a long time. Pay extra and add Hummus on your mix Shawarma, trust me you won't regret it.
